I think this may be a tough game. Stafford is a good quarterback in spite of his critics and our corners tonight may have problems. Josh and company need to be on or we start 0-1.

Boy, if Josh misses time we have nobody behind him.

So tired of Bills fans blaming refs. News flash! Tampa won and is the better team. Two third downs couldn't stop them in crunch time......typical Bills defense. Stats aside they aren't good at crunch time. Josh and company were good enough to get to over time. Oh, we complain about refs after NE game. Better team and way better coaching than us. Wake up guys this team is not that good. Thankfully this season is showing that we need to improve in many areas.

Glad we played KC before they got their game together. Today they would roll over us I think.

I fear not making the playoffs. If we do? Fear any team we'll face. I have zero confidence in our O line. No cornerbacks without White. Our defense is quite average when they have to hold leads. Just my opinion but I believe it to be an objective one not just fandom emotion.

Where is an OL mentioned in your original post? You were comparing QBs.
Correct. My bad.

Yes it's possible but highly unlikely.

So you gave a slight edge to Josh. How generous of you.
Yes because NE has an offensive line......we don't.

Tannehill sucks today. Wow.
Let’s run the table. The Bills are good enough to do that.
So, you're saying they can beat Tampa Bay! Sorry.

You think QB is even?? Come on, you can be nervous about the game, but you’re saying that a rookie QB is pretty much as good as Josh-so if the Bills had Jones you wouldn’t be that disappointed
Yes, I give the edge to Josh. If we had even an average offensive line that edge would be greater. If you've watched the Pats games don't diminish their QB because I've been mkre than impressed.

No, we are in control of our own destiny. If we beat NE twice, we win. If we don’t, then they deserve it.
Do you really think we'll beat the Pats twice. I was thinking a split. Now I think if either wins both it won't be us. QB I give it a draw maybe slight edge to Josh. Coaching definitely Pats. I say split at best.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but I see NE winning our division. I don't feel real confident about wildcard either.

It's just one game loss against a good Pittsburgh. But ,in my mind, this isn't a Super Bowl team anyways. We're a good team but not Super Bowl good.

We are absolutely an elite team.
The defense doesn't need to be elite for that to be true. The offense is going to carry us, the defense can be merely good.
Agree with your assessment about offense. Defense is not elite and in fact probably good. So for me the term elite team has yet to be proven.

We don't need to be.
True. Just commenting on being described elite team. I don't think we're "elite".

Yeah, meant to edit that😁.

I watch football whether it's Bills or not. In fact if the Bills moved I'd still watch.

To me, the issue isn't about whether a player is vaccinated...its more about guys like Cole intentionally boasting how he wont follow protocols away from the facility. And I hope now that they are all together at camp, preseason, practices, etc...that the staff and his teammates have at least gotten through to him in that regard.
They have the freedom of choice, so now just be responsible and follow the safety protocols laid out that come along with that choice, and make no mistake about it, those responsibilities are still important. There is a go fund me account to help a woman I knows recovery who yesterday just got out of the hospital after being there 6 weeks and even on a ventilator after getting COVID. She was also already vaccinated, but the Delta variant hit her hard.
Sad part is, the only reason I know her is because she hosted the funeral reception at her house for my friend Brian back in June who died from complications and damage caused by COVID that he had a year earlier and had been on life support for 19 days before passing. Brian was a die hard Steelers fan and I will have a patch on my Allen jersey in his honor when I am in Buffalo at the game week 1.
A few members of my staff in Denver right now have COVID, and all of them are also vaccinated, but they are still pretty sick at home for several days and now feel like crap despite all being under 35 years old. Someones kid brought it home from school they think is how they got it.
Point is...vaccinated or unvaccinated...COVID is still dangerous. So if you are choosing not to get vaccinated, thats is 100% anyones choice and I support that. But don't be irresponsible towards your staff and teammates by completely disregarding the safety protocols put in place to help protect the team and support their goals of winning a championship. And again, hoping that side of Coles attitude towards it has improved now that he is around his mates and the facility.
I was so happy they signed Beasley. Be just as happy to see him go. He's obviously another self absorbed athlete who doesn't care about anyone else. Go back to Texas!

It is because the NFL promotes offense. They overprotect QBs to a fault. Penalize defenses too much when some of the calls are mystifying. And it puts defenders at the mercy. So it's basically fantasy football. It's not football.
Beginning to think this myself.

The fact that the Bills were able to put themselves in a position to beat one of the better teams in the NFC in spite of all the mistakes is a net positive on the day. I understand the frustration, but we should be optimistic. My pessimism is over the fact that the Dolphins have a much softer schedule than us, and they will likely be tied with us when we come off the bye.
Miami has the better defense. I think we are pretty evenly matched with them. Schedule could be deciding point on who wins the division.

Sometimes, crazy things happen in games. That was a wild game between two very good teams. Look at how great that drive was by Allen after the Bills blew the lead. He's definitely a resilient QB who can deliver in the clutch. Some great catches by Beasley and then Diggs on that TD.
The Cards basically pulled off a miracle. It happens. Murray had like no room when he threw that. It was just a fluky play. Not sure why nobody tried to get in front and knock it down. White is a great cover guy. So yeah. Hopkins outleaped all three guys to catch it. A great play. But someone should've knocked it out.
I think the Bills will be fine. A tough way to lose for sure. But they are a legit threat to Chiefs and Steelers. I still feel they win the division. They'll bounce back. The bye week comes at a perfect time.
There's still a lot to like about them. They're never out of a game. Very good offense led by dual threat Allen and the amazing Diggs. Plus Brown and Beasley. I do wonder if being able to run it more with Singletary would help. Defense struggles to stop the run. But has guys out still.
They have a shot to do something in January.
Say what you want but defensively we stink and that "fluke" play🤐? Against a legit defense it would be a fluke. Against ours it's just another bad play. Josh and Co are the reason we win in spite of our D. Having said that offenses are putting up big numbers around the league as it's become an air assault league so maybe it's more that than our defense is real bad.

Yes we are 6-2. No, I'm not a crazed ecstatic fan. Our defense look pathetic against inferior teams. We're 6-2 because of mainly three players. Diggs, Beasley, and Josh Allen with the exception of a six field goal game. Defense will cost us down the road. A fumble decided the game and it shouldn't have come close to being that. We stink defensively and we can't put lip stick on the pig here by saying we're 6-2.
