No but their offense is legit. It's by far the biggest test to date for the Bills. After 3 games they faced Wilson, Jimmy G, and Howell. Not exactly quality QBs.

Tua in that Miami system is excellent maybe even elite. Hill, Waddle, and Mosert have the ability to take it to the house on any one play. Their weapons are by far better than Buffalo's.

I think McD will have a nice game plan vs Miami. The Bills must be efficient with their tackling.

I think the Bills offense can score lots of points on Miami's defense.

This has shootout written all over it. Allen will have his cap on this game.

Not ready to predict a winner or score.

Agree with you. But I will predict a score. Yes a shootout. Depending on if Tua can paly the whole game. I'll give him the benefit of that doubt. However if we had Von, I would not. So, Bills 38 Squished Fish 28

Yeah Eric Wood was a very scheme specific player.   He was pretty athletic but he was beyond overmatched against power........to the extent that a big DT literally snapped his leg when Wood tried to engage in a test of strength with him.    He eventually learned how to stop trying to out-physical opponents after numerous injuries as a result of over-estimating his ability..........and just block the edges of defenders...........and that made him effective in systems where he could be put on the move later in his career.

    Bingo.

His tough, badass attitude was cute with Maybin, though.

Wood started at Guard, and Geoff Hangartner played Center. Hangartners injury caused Wood to move to Center. He may have been better as a guard. Levitre was a better lineman than Wood, too.

Stop this ***** right now. Wood was very good when he got the neck diagnosis.

We could have drafted our center for the Josh Allen era of Bills football.  Morse is not bad as 2nd prize but he's also got more we esr and tear and shelf life is ticking for his career.  Much like Eric Wood had to retire for health concerns.

I will always love and miss EWood. He got robbed of his his football career because of the diagnosis, but life is more important and I believe he has a wonderful life. So kudos to the Dr. that discovered the problem.

Overall the returns seem to be good, like any game you have some that did well others that didn’t. I think week 2 is where we will get a better glimpse of starters and such. The flow of the three game preseason has yet to really be standardized throughout the league.

When there was four preseason games you had a good understanding of how teams approached preseason. Game one was almost completely backups, game two starters played a quarter and a half, game three starters played the first half and a bit of the second and game four was almost all backups last shot to make the roster.

But now with one less game the whole flow is off. Not the biggest deal but just an observation

I can’t wait till it’s only two pre season games.

Whenever I go to a camp, it’s interesting to see how the starters act vs guys who have jobs locked up.   For example, you absolutely know Josh is our starting QB, even without seeing him throw.   It’s not a cocky thing, just how they interact and sometimes do their own thing.

With that being said, Cook looks the part to me.  Murray did have a great day too, but Cook looks like a guy who knows he’s gonna be the man.

Harry looks like a kid stole a jersey and snuck on the field in a bad Disney movie.  Dude is so tiny you worry he will get hurt.

Shakir and Josh seem to have a pretty good relationship.

Tons of swing passes and check down drills today.

Didn't Beasley look so tiny that he would get hurt?

  6. I don't know who it is but I do know this. We can do much better than Brown. That dog should not fly. B level talent and we are Nationwide right now.

That said I'm not surprised in the least to reward Brown for filling in last year if they expect Murphy back this year. The fact he was at OTA's makes me think he will be back. We should be looking for A grade talent though. Like right now!

Pontificating on "basic economics" while not understanding inflation is a bit ironic.

The Buffalo News cost $12 per month ($3.05 per week) in 1990.

The OP said they are increasing to $28 per month in 2023.

If you plug $12 into an inflation calculator and compute the increase from 1990 to 2023...

    inflation1.jpg

    It is $28.

They are essential charging the exact same as they did in 1990. Price has only followed inflation.

Ok. Now give me a graphic about the quality in 1990 for $12 a month vs todays quality at the same price inflation adjusted. Don't tell me it's raining while pissing on my leg good sir.

  8. I enjoyed the video. Seeing Radecic  as a front man for Populous was interesting. Imagine the pride of a guy like him being so in on this project. Pretty cool.

Everyone has a rooting interest in getting this done right. I liked seeing Terry go to Tottenham to sit in the worst three seats and say they were great seats. Everything I saw spells success for us fans in the new stadium.

It's such a great topic isn't it? If that's your feeling or definition you are obviously a ***** person. But tomorrow is Friday. Enjoy.

I'm not sure that you can follow the point properly. But tomorrow is Saturday and you probably have to report for the weekend tonight at some County lock up so enjoy your weekend. How many do you have left to serve?

You should probably take a weekend break then come back and read through the conversation again.

Maybe you're right. Too much mixed signals in here. Peace out to all.

I hope he's made a full recovery too, but will NOT be in the booth again.

You don't know that. You may feel that and I do too to be honest, but you don't know that. I agree with you only because of the absence of updates about him. The fact he's at this OTA though is a big sign that he is well on his way back.

Is the photo altered to be funny?

    What a lard ass.

Remember when OLmen in the league were lean, mean, super strong, and athletic?

And they could actually pull and run?

These guys are so bloated up now to get over 300...it's a joke.

Uh, well, no not really. Sure there's some but I think o line in the NFL has mostly always been made up of lard. However Dion is not a superstar. But he gets his job done. As someone pointed out a few posts ago he made it through the Miami game playing every snap and unlike a lot of our lean mean players at various positions that couldn't. Dion will be Dion. Fine.
