  1. Brittany broke him.  Some guys need a strong woman to check them, get them revved up, allow the alpha to let their guard down.  He lost all of that and she took his dog.  He has looked like horse dung since then.  He is a hyper-emotional man, and since he lost her steadying hand he has stunk.  Running around getting your D wet all off-season isn’t the same as a solid woman having your back.

  2. I haven’t seen it mentioned (granted I can’t keep up with all the posts) but people seem to be forgetting that  “Teddy Bear Terry” is solely at the helm for the time being.  He’s as soft as vanilla pudding, clams up if a camera/mic is on him, and the only emotion I’ve seen him display is tears.  Kim was the task master/alpha of the two.  Given that, I have zero faith that Terry is going to fire anyone, demand new coordinators, or even demand accountability.

  3. He grew it out because he and Brit went as the Gatsbys for Halloween.  Based on what he said on Kyle Brandt’s podcast he just rolling with it.  Apparently Brit enjoys mustache rides, because you know that he would be clean shaven if she didn’t approve.Super Troopers GIF by Searchlight Pictures

  4. I seem to recall, either during a press conference or halftime introduction shortly after buying the team, Terry clearly stating that their goal is as to have multi-generational family ownership of the team so as to not put the fine people of Buffalo through the stresses of another sale/possible relocation.  I could be misremembering but I’m sure he said their kids are planning on running the show eventually.

Teslas are constantly yanked over for no front plate here in NY.

No front plates required or offered in Pennsylvania, been pulled over by a few rookie cops in other states thinking they “got” me until they look at the vehicle code for PA.  Also got pulled several times when we moved to California before we had a chance to change our registration.

not sure what the “rodger’s way” is but okay.

why don’t you like the guy? Because he’s not a complete robot in press conferences like the other 95% of the league? Because he’s actually honest from time to time?

Rodgers is know to be an arrogant jack ass, unkind to the little people he comes across, and 100% me first vs team first.  These are some of the reasons why I don’t like him.  Press conference demeanor is such an odd thing to hang your hat on, not sure why you think that would sour someone to him.

IMO, Allen did nothing wrong on that play. Lewis went right by Feliciano and Allen did what he always does: evaded the tackle. We have watched him do it all season and make big plays - that is one of the things that makes him so special. Unfortunately, Autry was right there to wrap Allen up. Allen tried to secure the ball and Autry did a good job of forcing the fumble. That was more of good defensive play than it was any kind of mental error or carelessness on the part of Allen.

Sorry bud, you don’t get to 33 to go by “doing nothing wrong.”  You go down or fire that pigskin OB in that situation.  The one thing you don’t do is run backwards twisting and bouncing between all pro defenders.  Josh played a very solid game overall, but not being able to see he made multiple mistakes on that one play screams blind homerism.

More of more of my posts make me feel like an old man saying, "Get off my lawn."  All of us our super pumped from the awesome season and really excited about the playoffs.  However, I'll be debbie downer here raining on the parade....

The flossing is harmless and I guess was funny.  However, I try to view some things as what a player on another team did this.  Let's say Kelce did this.  I would probably just write it off as something silly and partly stupid.  So it is hard for me to celebrate Diggs acting silly because he is on our team.

All reports are that Diggs has been a team player and is very positive.  This is great to hear.  We need to remember though that Diggs had many detractors and questions while in Minnesota.  It is easy to be a team player and have your praises sung when he is breaking records and the Bills offense is one of the leagues best.

Hopefully, this doesn't happen for many years, but at some point the Bills offense will cool down and Diggs won't have the numbers he is having now.  We have seen many receivers turn ugly once their team starts losing and they do not get the targets they want.  I just hope Diggs stays a team player through adversity.  Silly antics like flossing remind me more of a WR diva than a team player.

You sound like my Grandmother’s neighbor.  She used to tell my brother and I not to smile too much or laugh... “you don’t want to be too happy because good times never last”.

Enjoy what we have this year and soak it up, don’t waste your time writing paragraphs about how he might be a problem at some point.  If you auctually saw the flossing during the game it was obviously not a “diva” move.  He was sitting on the bench with teammates around laughing, not showing off for a camera.

    https://www.nfl.com/news/covid-19-season-taking-heavy-toll-on-nfl-players-significant-others-it-s-changed

"It's changed our lives completely," said Nikki Jordan, wife of New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan. "Not only are the guys accountable for what they do off the field -- we're held accountable, as well, because they can always catch it from us. So we've got to limit our risk of how we can catch COVID so that our husbands and their teammates and coaches are safe."

In conversations with several NFL player wives for this story, the psychological strain could be heard in their voices. There were deep inhales and long exhales. Little things they might have taken for granted in the past, like having time to read a book for leisure, or going to the bathroom alone, have been replaced by the constant call of toddlers and infants as they have become fulltime teachers and babysitters. There no longer are nannies or sitters entering their homes because that potentially could expose them to someone carrying the virus, which could then be transferred to their spouses. That exact scenario infected nine members of Andrew Whitworth's family last summer, including the Los Angeles Rams left tackle himself.

So, players' wives have taken on roles that were once filled by others. But in helping their kids and husbands with what they require, the women's needs are oftentimes ignored.

For Nikki Jordan, a former professional basketball player, that has meant no more morning trips to the gym, where she regularly cleared her mind. Her three oldest children, ages 5 and younger, are being home-schooled, so her time is theirs, from the moment they awake at 6 or 6:30 until the time they are put down for the night. Just hearing a breakdown of her days leaves a listener exhausted. And that was before she gave birth to the couple's fourth child on Sunday, two hours after the Saints' 32-29 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Read the article - it's not a pity-party, just a due acknowledgement (IMO) that in many cases, the player's families are also sacrificing to help the teams and the NFL get on with the season.

I’m not trying to be a Richard here OP but I have two questions.  First, with everything else happening in the news Bills related today (fans allowed, Stills sighting) why does a story about wives of players having to look after their own children (the horror!) merit a thread?  Second, I’ve seen you 86 threads for veering into COVID discussions previously, yet you post an article and start a thread where that is literally the entire topic of discussion. Following the guidelines you posed in the sticky topic this thread should be D.O.A. as it does not contribute in the least to QUALITY FOOTBALL discussion.

Life has changed for everyone on earth, those with hundreds of thousands or millions in the bank have encountered much less life altering changes than the average person trying to keep food on their table, a roof over their head, or their business open.

I'm glad they are kidding as this is an incredibly stupid idea. No one should take this seriously.

A buffalo (bison, actually) is a wild animal. This is no different than a circus elephant or an orca at Seaworld. A domesticated animal like a horse or cow, fine. They are bred to be around people and trainable. The stress on a bison to do this would be just cruel. I know teams have done stupid s#$t like this in the past and some college teams still likely use wild animals in cages as "mascots" (see: Mike the Tiger @ LSU). People have gotten a lot more sensible and aware of what this does to wild animals and the public outcry you'd get for doing this would be enough to stop it and make the team look like dopes.

    My 2 cents.

You are wrong about Bison being 100% wild.  Over 98% of “wild” bison have been cross bred with domestic cows.  There is only one herd of genetically pure Bison left in the United States.  Bison require stronger fencing than steer or dairy cows but are very manageable.  We own 12 goats and our larg animal veterinarian has a herd of 20+ bison.  She handles them no problem, and especially when born on a farm are quite docile, relatively speaking.  There are also many more Bison on grams than there are in the wild.  Finding and “saving” a farm bison scheduled for slaughter would be viewed in a positive light.
