When would we hear if Tre is coming off IR?
MAJBobby replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well it is confusing how I see the writeups. I think what I have figured out is they have 21 days to make a move the minute he start practicing. I will just go with that, so If he practices this week (will still have a roster exemption) they have 21 days to fully clear him or IR him. So I guess not even going to think about Tre anymore until I see a report he praticed. -
Lets look at the 10 new HC this season Lovie Smith (Defensive Mind) - 2 time HC before the hire career .500 coach - Yep Frazier would be better here. Matt Eberflus Defensive Mind) - First time HC, young, work hard type coach (similar to the Lions coach) - Sure ok hard to say here going young vs Frazier I get it here. Doug Pederson (Offensive Mind) - I get this one, get a guy that has history of developing QBs with Lawrence. Brain Daboll (Offensive Mind) - I get it another offense (thanks you Josh for turning him into a QB whisperer I guess) to team with Jones or new QB in future makes sense. Kevin O'Connell (Offensive Mind) - I get this wasnt going to be Frazier coming back to Min. This is a hire to try and salvage Cousins Mike McDaniel (Offensive Mind) - I get this too left a winning Defensive Minded coach and this hire was all about maximizing Tua Nathaniel Hackett (Offensive Mind) - I never will get the Buzz and hype with this guy, Frazier would have been the better hire here. Dennis Allen (Defensive Mind) - Former HC as well so second stint. One could have made the argument for Frazier here as well. Josh McDaniels (Offensive Mind) - Like hackett I dont get the love for this guy, second HC stint, and will fail here too IMO (Frazier would have been a better hire for the Raider) Todd Bowles (Defensive Mind) - 2nd Stint as HC already, but this hire is different than others, this hire was dictated by Brady to come back. SO looking at this list from last year there is a case that can be made Frazier would be better for at least 3 of these teams.

I also think there is a bit of, well that is McD defense going on as well, I am sure he has a shadow from McD a bit

Poor coaching by McDermott is becoming a theme

That is incorrect with the rule change. The time starts NOW. they are in their 21 day window. "After the first four weeks of the season, teams have the ability to utilize a 21-day window where a player on the PUP list can practice while still not counting against the 53-man roster. A team has until the end of that window to either activate the player, move them to injured reserve or release them." The season ending IR -

Yeah and I will be fine with the current secondary I think I am fine with where we are, but if anything that is the target return IF he is 100% healthy. If he isnt take the full 21 days. -

My Biggest question is.... Has this defense shown that they need to Rush Tre Back? If anything I think the defense has held up perfectly and the Bills can take their entire 21 days, no reason to rush Tre back. -
Yes we really are missing Oliver a Ton. There is NO Internal Pass Rush Unless it comes from Groot at DT since Oliver has been out. I would argue we are not missing Tre as much as many thought we would, Same with Hyde. But Oliver yes there is and has been a big drop inside (covered a bit because of Groots ability from inside.)

I agree the other teams loss is our gain with being able to keep him as DC

And it is why most of those teams will continue to recycle their coaches every 3 years.

Sucks for Crowder and no means cheering this. But IMO this is a blessing, will force the more Dynamic Shakir on the field IMO. This is your time to shine Rook, do what Davis did his rookie year.

Ok so it was a blown call thank you. Now I think that blown call offsets your hold complaint. So again blown calls occur that is normal in this league that refuses to really help their officials. Bottomline the game was called consistently and rules were applied consistently to both teams. So you want 30 penalties a game again? You want EVERY HOLD called? I dont get people. These refs applied the rules consistently to both teams and yet here they are complaining yet again, then again probably the same people that complained about having to play in the sun Sunday.
-
I am going with 2 more weeks. He needs to be 100% healthy before coming back dont want those leg things lingering with the big guys same with Phillips.
-
I will keep having conversations. Try it sometime. My Biggest complaint with the Refs will remain blowing the call not ONCE but doing it again in REPLAY. Lamar easily had that 1st down, now it didnt matter they got it on 4th and 1. But when you have two looks at something and STILL get it wrong that is the problem. And why anytime anyone mentions challenging the SPOT I scream NO. They NEVER change spots in review even it is clearly should be.
-
Yep as long as humans are involved to get total consistency is hard. Also you ever notice the amount of missed holds during games has gone up the more the NFL puts on the Head Ref in terms of QB Safety? Maybe it is time to add to crews as well. Hard to have the one guy that is responsible for the line play also be the sole guy responsible for all the QB safety and QB penalty stuff.

Clearly you do not talk to other fans bases. or listen to other coaches how much they ACTUALLY talk about Edmunds. Clearly you have no idea the responsibilities of the two positions, or the play (news flash Milano isnt as great as you think he is). Sorry to tell you Edmunds is going no where watch because actual coaches understand the impact he makes on the field in this defense.
