  1. While I dislike the prices from DirecTV, the advantage that I have is that often I can't watch the game live as my son plays baseball and lacrosse and there's either a game or a practice when the games are on. So, I record the game on my DVR and tell everybody not to text or call me until I have watched the game!!!

With streaming, I don't know if there's an ability to record the game and watch later.

  2. Well, I normally would record the game as my son has either lacrosse practice or a baseball tournament. The bye weekend was baseball. And it was well worth it!! Made it to the Championship game and his coach finally started him at 2nd base. He didn't disappoint!!

First play - line drive to #16. Out #1.

Second play - line drive, tips off the pitcher's glove, #16 picks up and makes the throw to 1st. Out #2!!

Then in the 3rd inning, hit straight down the 3rd base line into the corner! RBI and a double!!

    Good weekend. GO BILLS!!!

Certainly haven’t read through 45 pages so I apologize if there are already a couple dozen devoted to this but…the NFL should not be playing on Thursday night unless and until both teams are coming off a bye the week before. The product last night was akin to a preseason game. Horrendous! You know it’s bad when even the announcers are openly making fun of the game in real time.

Agreed! This time, I was actually glad my Amazon feed kept buffering!! Good grief, Charlie Brown!!

Offense started to turn things around the moment Crowder left the game. His drops were drive killers. The bigger loss, by far, is Mckenzie. Hope he's ok.

Thank you!! I was thinking the same thing. After the third dropped pass, I kept saying get him off the damn field!! He sucked big time today!!

I read that Breida hasn't lined up at the position on special teams at which he lined up for that play ALL SEASON LONG.

So yeah, seeing a guy who is not usually out there, on the field for the punt, at a spot on the field where defenses are on the alert for a fake anyway, would certainly be a massive tip of the hand to any opposing unit with decent intelligence. Just like putting Breida in the backfield on the fake QB sneak HB pitch in week 1 against the Steelers.

If you put a dude out there that's not usually out there, it's gonna be pretty hard to fool the defense.

That was my EXACT thought when I saw he was out there. Did they really think they were fooling the Bucs?? Terrible.....

  6. I've never been a big believer of conspiracy theories, but watching that game makes me really question whether there is a legitimate push to see Tom Brady against Belichick. To me, and most of the people I've discussed this with, the non-calls and calls against us were so blatant that it makes you question the integrity of the game. While I am a Bills fan, even non-Bills fans have questioned the same thing. Just plain sucks. I wish Diggs was just able to bring that ball in anyways and we wouldn't even be talking about any of this shyt.

We just need a few better, bigger, stronger players on both sides of the ball in the trenches.

We're going to see first hand on Sunday the type of guy we need anchoring our D-line...

For the O-Line. Prolly need 3 new dudes.

Keep Spencer Brown and Dawkins (but maybe move him inside).

I'm not sold on anyone else....upgrade the remaining 3 spots.

I think the running game would take care of itself then.

Easier said than done, of course. 2-3 FAs and 1-2 high draft picks.

It's funny you show Vita. I REALLY want to draft him! I wish we could have gotten a little further up the ladder to draft him instead of grabbing Tremaine @ 16. But, taking Josh first was still the right call. But, I was really high on Vita.

  8. The current situation reminds me of the 90's Superbowl teams and, at the time, having to play our arch-enemy the Dolphins in the playoffs. Many of us had PTSD from the Dolphins dominating us in the 70's. We always felt damn, not Shula and Marino again. But, we prevailed and the Superbowl era teams never had any fear of the Dolphins.

This is where Josh and company need to be as well. Screw the Patriots and Belichick and let's write our own ticket. Great teams rise to the challenge. There is real talent on this team and we need to clear any linger Patriots PTSD once and for all!!

  9. Well written as always!

You're right: this is the time to shine or ready the golf clubs. But, I finally got a chance to watch the Colts game (I was out of town). What I came away with was sometimes bad luck and penalties are contagious. But, there were still flashes of brilliance and this team DOES have talent. We are TOO good to be compared to the drought era teams. This is a team that has true superstars - we are just missing a few components: more consistent OL (Dawkins is now a liability; Brown is a necessity); another elite cornerback (this is especially true now with Tre going down); stud running back

The test will be in the spotlight again against the evil empire. Let's smack them in the face and go on and win the division!!
