  1. I realize most Republicans are illiterate, but you should try not to make such false assumptions about the Dems.

I love these "intelligence" attacks. In my experience, I find democrats to be the most uneducated and uninformed group of people. I'm not sure why they think they're so smart...perhaps because they studied english or philosophy in college, but they're always the loudest of the bunch and gravitate towards stupid things like veganism or avoiding vaccines despite proclaiming absolute faith in science...

and no, I'm not a republican...that's also an embarassing tag

speaking of intelligence, I have two Harvard Ph.D. friends, one Microbiology Ph.D. and one Physics Ph.D., that were once seemingly hardcore liberals that have become libertarian since this administration took over. there must be a good explanation for this...maybe they're racists!

  2. did a clean install of windows 7 last friday. I've never had any problems with any version of Windows being unstable, but 7 runs noticeably better than both XP and Vista. So not only do I have the eye candy of a better looking version of Windows, everything runs a notch smoother and for some reason I seem to have gained at least 2 hours of battery life on my laptop.

I'd put this on the other 3 PC's in my house if they weren't so damn old...won't support the new Aero graphics.

  3. Adam Schefter just said that the Bills have no options for interim HC. He mentioned Bobby April, and Perry Fewel, but said that ST has struggled against the Browns, and that Jauron has "extensive defensive knowledge" therefore making Fewel a mute point. He said that Ralph has no other option but to wait and be patient.

Looks like a new HC at seasons end though.

    :censored:

what the hell is a mute point?

  4. Henne looks pretty darn good. Wonder what it's like to have an NFL QB? Damn, I wonder what it's like to have an NFL team. This blows. Another afternoon spent just disgusted at this alleged NFL team.

ah...the last three years living outside of a bills broadcasting area has been a blessing in disguise

lawn looks great, wood is split, spirits haven't been crushed and pissed on... :wallbash:

  5. I agree. The only thing better than this would have been a 24-19 or 27-25 win. I know everybody wants to cry for their mommies and start the pity parade, but I am very heartbroken but excited by this game. It hurts right now, but we didn't choke it away, instead coming up just short on what would have been a shocking stunning upset.

If you picked the Bills to go 13-3 (a ridiculous prediction) you would have this as one of your 3 losses. If you picked the Bills to go 9-7 you would have this as one of your seven losses. It is hard to come so close and come up short, and I feel for McKelvin, but I am very excited about watching this team the next 15 weeks, and am not going to go in to any "poor me, I am a Bills fan and they are the worst thing ever" syndrome.

    Go Bills!

I picked the Bills to lose. I didn't expect much from them at all. I did expect a rerun of our famous historical choking however, so I guess I shouldn't be unhappy.

If you can't see me, I'm patting myself on the back now.

  6. Here are 15; I got sick of this after that, but I'm sure there are more. This one goes in the top 20, but certainly not the top 10.

    1. SB 1

    2. SB 2

    3. SB 3

    4. SB 4

    5. Ronnie Harmon

    6. Bill Simpson dropped INT in playoff game against the Chargers

    7. Home Run throw forward

    8. playoff loss to Miami when Flutie was sacked on the final play

    9. AFC championship loss to Bengals in 1988

    10. home loss to Miami in the pouring rain in 1979 when Tom Dempsey misses a chip shot to win the game

    11. playoff loss to Steelers when Bruce was sick

    12. overtime loss to NE in 2001 - the "dead body" play

    13. playoff loss to Pittsburgh in 74

    14. AFL championship loss to KC in 1966

    15. the decade of the 1970s vs. the Dolphins - too many to count, but I remember a couple of truly painful ones

    in no particular order

    16. Dallas MNF game

    17. Bledsoe game where we missed the wild card because we couldn't beat the Steeler's third stringers

    18. loss to the jets last season

    19. loss to the browns last season

  7. Cry over what? If you know the ending, what is there to be upset about? No one on this board actually thought we were going to win the game, did they? Have you not been paying attention? Why would tonight have been any different, especially against that team in that stadium, on MNF, on national television, with Brady returning, with the Pats' celebration of their all-time team, in the season opener? What made anyone think we were going to win that game, regardless of the score with five minutes left.

I'm actually ashamed of myself for predicting a blowout win for the Pats. If these teams played again Sunday, we would lose 44-3. But with the Monday night, national TV thing, it only stood to reason that this bunch of losers would find a way to pull off yet another loss that should only shock those of you who clearly are not paying attention.

precisely...I told everyone at work (I work in NE) that the Bills would get blown out. Now I'm going to hear from them that, "the Bills aren't bad...etc."

no, they are very bad. they blow ass. do not patronize me.

I'm going to talk with Dick's brother and see if the loss pains him as much as it pains me...who knows, maybe the Jaurons are also aware of the Buffalo curse...

  8. You guys all need to chill out here. You hate McKelvin? Do you think he intentionally chose to fumble. I'm sure he feels 100 x's worse that you guys.

he's probably going to drown out his sorrows by lighting cigars with hundred dollar bills and burying his head into some hot snatch

but yeah, calling out his death is ridiculous...we're Bills fans, not south americans
