  1. Yes, I think they have a chance.

No, NE doesn't need the refs to win.

    Yes, NE can move.

Did you think the Bills were going to come back last week down 21-3?

No, that I did not...but coming back on NE is a different challenge.

All I have is hope...and that's not really based in reality.

  2. I am SOOO done with everyone on WEEI Sports talk radio, as well as Comcast Sports Net, ESPN Boston, NBC locally, and every writer and color commentary guy as well as every ex-Patriots player who ever lived giving us NO CHANCE against the Pats tomorrow. I wish some would step up an eat their words after we smoke them. I have no doubts we are going to bring them down a peg and knock Marcia on his lily rump tomorrow!

I'm in NH and I don't think we have a chance either. I have hope, but I'm pretty sure that will be crushed after 4 quarters.

  3. estro you are right in saying that we are a dreadful team - we are. but keep the faith - we will be better next year (not playoff better but better for sure) and in 2012 we will contend for the division - better times are coming. winning comes in cycles in the nfl - every team goes through it - we are in it again as i will remind you that the bills were worse then than now in the 70's and the early to mid 80's. the colts were a joke a few times, the 49'ers we a joke for a long time as were the giants, the dull-fish and jests as well - it happens to every team. that being said it does not make it any easier on us fans right now - but i've been through this before with the bills - and after we are back to being contenders - after a time it will happen again. it is the way of sport - more so in the nfl though it seems. wear the bag if it makes you feel better, but i have been to over 35 countries and have worn my bills colors in every one of them - through the 2-14 seasons - through the superbowl losses - and ive always been proud to be from buffalo (born and raised) and be a bills fan - even when we were horrible.

seriously? you generate pride easily. Do you get all excited when you make a tinkle?

  4. Im so sick of posts like these. I mean what do you really expect out of a team that is clearly re-building (again). Yes , we are 0-4 , and we should not be winning games against the likes of the dolphins , jets , pats , and packers. Those 4 teams are solid playoff caliber teams , we are not, yet. If you had high hopes , or even mediocre hopes for the Bills success this year ,then frankly , I feel sorry for you. Year one of a new regime , especially with no established franchise QB and offensive/defensive lines usually means a year in which you bottom out , figure out which players are here to stay , and then improve what you don't have in the offseason. Yea it sucks that we aren't competitive this year , but hey , no one is forcing you to watch the games.

    WE ARE REBUILDING!

no no, I feel sorry for you. I'm fed up with mediocrity and 10 years of "rebuilding."

  5. I left WNY in 2006 and my enthusiasm for the Bills went from fervent to apathetic. Last season pretty much did me in. I work with Dick Jauron's brother and it got to the point where I didn't want to talk about the Bills with another fan. If the organization isn't going to make an effort, why should I? When they start giving a **** and try to put a decent product on the field, I'll start caring as well. Meanwhile, I will from time to time, wish a severe beating upon them. I also do not want my son to be a Bills fan. He has no reason to hitch his wagon to the overall Buffalo curse.

  6. I'm not so sure about this.

None of my professors interject their own political beliefs.

Why do conservatives always seem like stiff, cranky old men who want to rule the world?

If professors at Universites are so liberal-biased then that makes me want to be even more liberal.

I would much rather follow the advice of someone who has studied these things in a formal setting for a career, rather than just some guy who has certain "feelings" about the way things should be.

The fact that their is a stereotype of professors leaning to the left says a lot to me.

I'll never forget Enid Bloch, University at Buffalo. Worst professor I've ever had and a perfect example of the liberal professor injecting their own political beliefs into their courses. She claimed that she wanted free thinking but if you didn't agree with her extreme liberal points of view in your papers, it's an automatic C. Learned my lesson quickly and regurgitated everything she talked about in class and turned my semester grade for World Civ into an A. My roommate didn't fare quite as well. He basically argued against her POV in his papers even though he was and still is a liberal, and ended up with a C (you may wonder if he's just a dumbass, but the man is an MD/PhD right now). It was her class that made me realize that I wasn't quite as liberal as I was told I should be. If anything, I think it was my first experience that being liberal and open minded in college meant being completely accepting to anything that was not western and all the evil that was done to the world was done by white people and large corporations.

Engineering school was much better since it was all science and engineering and zero politics. The professors taught you the content and you worked on integrating that into problem solving. I do not ever recall any political agendas being pushed.

In case you're wondering, I'm not white...I'm asian.

  7. maybe this doesn't hurt so bad since I moved out of WNY in 2006 and have been busy with a one year old, but people can crap all over my team and I don't care...especially if there's a good deal of truth to it. Since I'm not dealing with Bills fans everyday, it's easier for me to look at the team objectively and let me tell you, it's not pretty. This definitely will not be the worst team ever, but let's be serious, this is not going to be a good team.

  8. And one more thing, you big ass. Us "teabaggers" arent disputing the DIVERISTY or lack thereof of the Tea Party Movement. We dispute the half-assed scare tactic assumption that Carville and your masters trotted out for you to regurgitate fifty times a day that the group is RACIST. We'd LOVE IT if the group was more diverse, but the sad fact is that any black person who crossed the line to join us will be IMMEDIATLEY outcast in his or her community and to his or her family and labeled as an "Uncle Tom sellout." Do you remember when Michael Steele had Oreo cookies thrown at him when he was camaigning for office, or were you too busy "boning up" at the Fire Island Meat-Pack at the time?

But again...in your pea brain Palin obsessed head...."Lack of diversity IS RACISM. PERIOD." There is NO OTHER WAY a group of whites can congregate without a racist intent, is there? Even if the group is from a region where there isnt a person of color present for a 90 mile radius....no brown skinned people in the group MUST mean theres a racist element, right?

    Talk about narrow-minded.

hey, diversity doesn't just mean black or hispanic. Plenty of asian libertarians involved in or interested in the tea party. Unless we're considered to be racist whities also by liberals.
