Who would not be a bad pick btw. There are some fantastic RBs through out this entire draft, Williams being one of them.
This draft is so loaded with RB talent, I could easily see us spending a couple of firsts and a fourth to get the guy we really want.

This seems like the perfect thread to share this awful, awful song I discovered the other day. The guitar solo at 1:15 made me LOL, and what happens at 2:25 clearly inspired Tenacious D. These guys out spinal tapped Spinal Tap, and I'm disappointed in myself for not having seen this before:
I saw these guys in 2007, and Dio's Lock Up The Wolves was my first concert ever. Truly one of the godfathers of metal.

I suspect they value the pick, that is what it says to me. I'd be disappointed. I really rate MG and I think Jonathan Williams looked bad his rookie year in limited action. Is Karlos still fat? Any chance we pick him back up?
I think Karlos is with Pittsburgh now.

If Gillislee hits unrestricted free agency, he will be poached as their are just too many teams with a boatload of cap room. You'd figure Whaley learned his lesson with Hogan, but with his MC Hammer like cap skills he is forced to pinch pennies. Hopefully they lock him up soon or it's gonna be another key solid contributor lost over 800K.
It seems like Whaley learned a little bit, but not enough.
Worth noting that he's taken Karlos Williams & Jonathan Williams in the 5th round of the last two drafts. Look for BYU RB Jamaal Williams in the 5th this year.

This paradise known as TBD has revealed that we all should've left for greener pasteurs long ago. I'm glad we were finally forced to do so.

Sandbourne had this coming for a few years. In fact, he probably was the reason for the decline in special teams.
He had a free ride to stardom, and now is finding out what happens when you put it on cruise control.
I advocated pretty hard for Jimmy 'Snap Back' Landis last year, and everyone said Cinnaborn still had life left in him. Time to eat some crow, unless you feel like this isnt someone you want on the final 53:
The writing was on the wall with Sanborn when he started making disparaging remarks about Buffalo's nightlife. Mowing down that lady with his car was just the icing on the cake. He clearly didn't want to be here, and went to great lengths to show it.

Hi
There he is! Welcome aboard.
-
But who out there is better? We should have kept him, the draft is such a crapshoot... watch him lead some contender to a championship now.
I expect he'll sign with the Patriots and become the next Ty Law.

I got infractions for things I thought were dumb from mods, but I don't know why folks seem to be so bitter towards them.
standingbuffalo, T&C, and Shaw are all over at billievers and I think they're staying away from this board probably because of the general contempt from some over here.
They had a tough job over at BBMB. It's the Internet... don't know why grudges can exist so strongly on the Internet towards individual posters. But with those grudges so prominent, if I were them, I'd probably stay away from this message board, too.
What is this "BBMB" of which you speak?
-
The secondary is in shambles. McDermott had troubles with young inexperience corners in Carolina last year. Don't mind if we are on full rebuild mode but you won't find a better slot corner than NRC for that money.
Maybe you're right, but is NRC a franchise slot corner? I don't see him leading us to a Super Bowl, so better to just get rid of him now.

Which 2 kickers will we get to replace Carpenter? And who's going to go one-on-one with Gronk now that Robey-Coleman's gone?
-
I just heard there is a chasm between Bills officials who want Taylor to buy or condo or a house.
I heard that, too. Then I heard they all turned on Tyrod when he told them he wanted to rent to own.
-
i would like to think if they ever did sign up for the board, they would at least use their previous names. I hope mash and shaw come on over.
The fact that you had such problems with standingbuffalo & not with MASH tells me that they definitely didn't treat everyone the same across the board.
Nevertheless, I'm done talking about the BBMB, and from this point on will refer to it only as "that other place."
-
It would take a foolish front office to pay Glennon that much. Maybe we should consider ourselves lucky to be so cash strapped.
-
I like Gillislee, but I don't think he's irreplaceable. I'd slap the 2nd round tender on him & be fine with whichever way it went. I think McCoy's contract is such that it doesn't make financial sense to dump him until 2019, so it's probably a bit early for that part of the plan.
-
The futility is incomprehensible. But hey we're Bills fans. This is definitely our year.
I know I'm pumped!
-
You probably left it on a plane or in a cab and Marv picked it up. Thanks a lot.
I should've mailed it to him. A running joke on bbmb (and probably here) for years was that someone should've given Marv/Russ/Buddy a draft guide.
-
I think the last time I bought a draft guide was 2006. I distinctly remember flipping through the pages, saying "Donte Whitner?!? Who the **** is Donte Whitner?!?"

Slayer, hands down. I'm a big classic thrash guy - never really got into the death metal/cookie monster vocal stuff - not real impressed with that. Give me Slayer, Anthrax. Megadeth, Exodus, Pantera, Testament, Overkill, Metallica, Kreator, COC any day, but even in that group Slayer reigns supreme.
Agree that Slayer is king. I've seen them a ton of times, but my favorite was the Big 4 at Yankee Stadium. The order was Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer, the Metallica. Slayer played (probably) the best set I've ever heard from them & totally blew the other 3 off the stage. The funny part was that scores of casual fans came late to catch Metallica and were just making their way to their seats as Slayer was wrapping up. They may never know what they missed.

havent' heard it, never really got into Zeppelin, they were a great band but not heavy enough for me.
you mean bodies from Drowning Pool ?
I just listened to how many more times and it is nothing like Drowning Pool's.

just don't see it
No, Bodies off of Danzig III:

vs Zeppelin's How Many More Times:
Of course, Zeppelin probably ripped it off from somebody else first.
-
I think Danzig stole a bit of a riff from Ozzy's Believer for Dirty Black Summer

Bodies (Zeppelin's How Many More Times) had to be the most blatant ripoff on that album.

Agree. And I would have take off being a Bills fan if they signed Mexico. It does seem like he has grown but I couldn't root for him.
But if you protest quietly, that's my final straw as a Bills fan!
My father, a lifelong Iggles fan, actually stopped following them when they signed Vick. "I know somebody has to give him a second chance, but why does it have to be us?!?"
-
Haha, nice! That would've been a deus ex machina if we'd actually seen God stop the bullets, but it's more likely that the guy just had really poor aim. I had similar results the first time I fired a hand cannon.

In fairness, there were other RI issues like getting kicked out of multiple colleges; being an extremely dirty play and stupid personal foul penalties; and possibly sexually harassing women.
But yeah, he has never been accused of as a women beater.
That's true; I forgot about the other stuff. Still, I don't think it was on the same level of Hardy. Then again, I considered Ron Mexico to be a psycopath, but he was able to behave himself when he came back to the league.
Hey, I recognize [him|her] from [that other show]

Anybody remember Bosom Buddies' Tom Hanks' appearances in Taxi, Happy Days, & Family Ties?
