  1.

    yes true

and, believe it or not, theres more

i had a couple experiences in college that scared the bejeebus out of me

first one was when i had this girl pick me up at closing and wanted to go home with me. i got her in my bed and she kept saying no when i went for the home plate shot. so i did what i always did in that situation, i said ok thats cool but im tired and id rather not make out indefinitely so lets just go to sleep. well the next day she was all over campus telling everybody i was a big jerk and that i had lied to her and tried to get her to have sex when she didnt want to. it was just flat out untrue but i still had ppl scolding me all day. i did what i was supposed to and i got crazy girled for it. now imagine she was just a little more unhinged and claimed finger rape or something

the other incident was at a house party i had hosted. it was wrapping up and a bunch of us were getting ready to go out to the bars and there was a group of about eight girls talking. somehow the topic came to rape and one of the girls said she was raped. well lo and behold the other girls ALL proceeded to claim they too were raped (!!!!). like what kind of bizzarro scenario would make all those girls say they were raped? perhaps they were just trying to make the first girl feel better, but you do that when somebody has a pimple NOT ABOUT FREAKIN RAPE. or did they really think they were all raped? i was now so terrified of these girls i didnt even open my mouth but that was super messed up imo

rape is one of the absolute worst crimes you can commit. but after witnessing those incidents i have a little less confidence that all rape claims are valid. thats another convo parents should have with their girls, not to play games with that highly destructive topic

I've had a similar story play out against me.

Imagine someone telling you, and others, 'you practically tried to rape me' when you would never ever do anything of the sort under any circumstance.

A woman can also be the aggressor and still point the finger. I'm sure it's rare, just like an actual rape is rare, but a life changing event nonetheless.

Restaurants like Sizzler sell comparatively cheap steaks.

Texas Roadhouse provides better quality steaks but is still not high end.

Places like Ruth Chris are high end.

Btw, I think someone said the new steakhouse will sell Wagyu beef which is wonderful stuff. But most "Kobe" and "Wagyu" steak sold in the US is fake. It's actually "American Kobe" or something like that and often a lesser quality.

Correct. Sizzler and Ponderosa are the cheap places but no one ACTUALLY wants to go there.

Grill your own 100 times out of 100.

    LOL

    Seriously?

Friendly wager: He misses at least three more games this season and is dinged up for a significant number of others.

Otherwise, sure, and we were told, just a few weeks ago for that matter, that there was nothing to the notion that Shaq needed shoulder surgery. Meanwhile, this team expects everything to go swimmingly on the recovery.

Have you done any research on the type of foot injury that Watkins has? I'm guessing not otherwise I don't think you'd be so confident in making such an assertion.

Leave it to the Bills' crack medical staff to rush him back too early and have him miss the entire season.

I guess the upside is always the 1st overall and possbily Kelly.

You believe that? And at full-strength?

    See response above.

I'm not sure either of you are aware of the nature of his injury.

Besides, since when did believing the front office become a shrewd idea?

    Whatever you say.....Doktah

  4. Apply for any card that gives you big free miles.

Call them after the first year and threaten to bail of they don't comp or, severely discount, the annual fee.

If they don't - have another card lined up.

    Rinse and repeat.

I've gotten at least 100,000 miles doing this in the last few years.

Being an elite flyer doesn't get you too much anymore.

Lounges in North America are dogchit.

In Asia they are generally fabulous.

  5. Read the article... 19 posts.

    $49×$50,000(minimum)= $2.45 million

That is how much they will make by selling the minimum tickets needed to make the lottery happen. If they do not reach that number they will split 50/50 with the winner. So they win no matter what, smart decision.

That makes them an unlicensed casino. Not that it matters in Micronesia.

Again this is done because it's hard to sell.

People lotterize their houses when they can't sell them.

And it comes with all kinds of stipulations.

  6. That would be absolutely the last thing I'd want at this stage of my life. Most people if they "won" that resort would be putting it up for sale in 6 months. Actually that's what I'd like do. Win it and turn right around and sell it.

    It's a tough sell.

    Hence, the lottery.

  7. I admit I'm one of the few EJ fans left.

I still think he has a chance to become a decent starter in the NFL.

I would bet that the Hall of Fame is unlikely.

Nevertheless, while He had more bad games than good - of the 16 he started - it wasn't all so horrible.

I think everyone was too quick to give up on him.

The "someone else had a bad play against JJ Watt" defense isn't player exclusive. Lest we forget Peyton Manning once threw an interception.

Exactly. Remember when Russ Wilson threw a pick to close the Super Bowl? I guess he's Fitz....

  8. I wasn't at all impressed with the OL prospects this year (aside from late round Centers like Glasgow and Allen)

That being said I'm glad Whaley passed on all the T's and G's in this draft. Mostly because I didn't see anyone that really stood out but also because I think we haven't been good at OL scouting.

4 picks in the previous 2 drafts and none appear too impressive.

Sure it's a bit early to judge Miller but he wasn't impressive in year 1. Henderson and Kujo have a long road ahead and Cyril is a goner.

I think our OL scouting needs a serious revamp
