  1. What i got from this article is that Ryans love to take top 5 defenses and ruin them. Bryd is overpaid and even if he produced in NO like he did here he is not worth that money, but on the other hand don't we still need a safety? This seems to be a time where both the player and team made it work.
  2. It is nice that we finally have a Offensive direction. I just wish continue to upgrade the talent and built on it and not just the defense. We did not add anything to help the offense grow but hopefully we can make up for the fact that we do not have an adequate right tackle or #2 wide out by using clay more this year. I think he was underutilized compared to his pay check and talent. If we can get him going like he was in Miami I think it makes up for the fact that Woods is a #3 wide receiver and that most of the SEC has a better right tackle then the bills do.
  3. I guess I just don't see the great drafting ability that everyone else sees in Whaley. A lot of people look at the drafts by Marv Levy and how they were the worse but has Whaley drafted much better then Lynch Posluszny Williams Whitner
  4. I thought he was 8-6 If he is more than a bridge QB why are we waiting to sign him long term. If he does better then last year won't we be paying more for him? If he does worse then he is not more than a bridge QB.
  5. I must have watched a different offense last year. To give him credit for Miller is like getting credit for kissing your cousin. It counts but you don't brag about it. K Williams looks good, but he will always be a change of pace and back up running back due to the big contract and trade for McCoy. We stole Clay from Miami. That was the best move for Miami. We got a TE that is a tough match up in the passing game and do not throw him the ball. As bad as Mario Contract was the Clay contract you could argue looks worse. T. Taylor is a nice bridge QB, but you cannot win with him. It all goes back to making a bad choice on EJ. Now we are trying to rebuild a defense to fit our coach while not having the offensive personnel to support the bumps in the road and be ignored. I do not think he is any better then the last couple regimes.
  6. I agree that we should wait on the d line. Why waste a high pick on the d-line. For one as bad as our D regressed last year, we lost more games because we only had on consistent wide out and an awful right tackle situation. If Rex is the defensive mastermind that he claims to be shouldn't he be able to elevate an intelligent later round defensive player that fits his scheme because talented players that don't fit his scheme do not produce. I think a lot of people were saying that about the d line we had last year!
