There is noway the signed off on the training being this bad. If they the plan was to not be competitive then why spend money on three defensive players in free agency. The issue is beane made a mess out of free agency. The roster is horrible. What give you faith he will spend million better than he spent 25 million ?

Please sign Matt Moore or Derek Anderson ... and cut Peterman ... give Josh a seasoned vet in the QB room ... look what McCown is doing for (very classy) with Darnold. WAKE UP ... need a vet who has started multiple games in the QB room
i agreee there needs to be a vet in the room. Eitehr of those guys are fine. They have been through everything. If they have to keep three qb's then that is what they should do I it the most important position on the team. The fact that they don't have a mentor for him already is another mistake by the dynamic duo
-
so why the rush to trade a.j for a 5th. The dynamic duo make a lot of mistakes If their evaluation is that Allen isn't ready then they could have had A.j starting this week.

cowboys might pounce. he doesn't have any merit badges so there no chance he joins the boy scout group
-
as long as he wins a couple of games he will be safe . I would think he would need a 500ish recored in year 3
9-7 4-12 6-10 usually gets you fired
-
is he still a virgin
-
not sure how he still have a job. boring and obnoxious is not a great combo
-
they dynamic duo did not have a great off season to say the least . Let's see what happens moving forward

i am happy with any attempt to improve the o line

Several posts have reasonably asked what value or depth guys like DiMarco, Foster, Ducasse, and a few others on the roster do for the Bills. Your thoughts on the following?
There are 5 guys who who have literally zero value/role on this team
- Foster, Newhouse, Jones, Lee, Lewis, DiMarco
There are about 5 current Bills that are street FA level. A player could come in off a practice squad, or off the streets and replace this player without any noticeable difference.
- Ducasse, Peterman, McDermott, Thomas, Stanford/Lacey
My Questions for McDermott and Beane
- Is it a complex salary cap management thing that keeps these guys on the roster?
- Is it McDermott & Beane's pride that blinds them to keeping these guys?
- Is it poor coaching "up" of players?
- Are there just not a good pool of players to replace these guys?
3 Practice Squad Bills Better than a Player Currently on Roster?
- Ford at RB over Jones
- Phillips at WR over Foster
- Wesley a better swing G/T than Ducasse or Newhouse )
10+ Free Agents that are Better than the 10 (zero value or street FA level ability) players on the roster
- Dez Bryant (would become our #2 or #3 WR option)make him our #3 WR option) doubt he would come
- Hankins (DT to replace Washington's position, and better than Yarbrough)yes
- Breeland (A guy that would be no lower than our #5 CB and likely are #4 CB)
- Eric Reid (this guy is a starter and better than Bush or Neal, or Pitts, or Lewis for secondary)
- K. Wright (better than Foster and provides veteran experience to WR's, opens up field)
- T.J. Ward (a better safety than Neal or Bush and a better secondary member than Pitts and Lewis)
- Boone/Cooper/Joeckel (any of these guys can replace Ducasse, Newhouse or McDermott and probably push Miller of the roster too)yes
- Courtney Upshaw (a blitzing/hybrid DE/LB...guy is Yarbrough's replacement right now and better than all backup LB's and great veteran mentor for S. Lawson)
- Perriman (He can't be any worse than Foster and liely has more value than McCloud or Holmes)yes
- Reilly (worse case scenario make him McCloud your #5 receiver, drop Foster, and have Reilly become your 6th receiver)
-
pegs should have hired tom c when he flirted with it. I think they need a lifer by their side for a few years.

So what other positions should they not have addressed in order to address multiple weaknesses on the OL? QB? MLB? CB? DT? DE?
if you are going all in on a yon qb you shoudl address the area that will help him and not over pay for a washed up corner and injured d end and a run stopper dt at 10 million a year

That is simply untrue. They brought in a C and T in free agency and a WR in Kerley. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean they did not address the issue.
newhouse, bodine and kerley do not address any issues.

it will be tougher because Mcdermott won;t coach anyone that is any less than a choir boy. Receiver is one position that seems to have the diva like behavior. so instead of trying coach a player like that , he takes the easy way out. Sean of course they buy in they would be out of the league without you .
-
they entered the season with the worst o line in the league and the worst receiving crew in the league. They spent 25 million in cap on Free agents and didn't address either. They drafted what they hope is the qb of the future and gave him zero to work with. Yeah i trust them. I trust them will both be out of the league in two years

I like to imagine that he was being insubordinate and talking trash about the other lineman when they watched the game film together.
yes . make one move off of the path and you are not part of the process god forbid the coach actually coaches all kinds of players not just the chosen few
-
they are devoid of talent and the position they cut a player with upside and kept a bunch of average dine a dozen wide outs .
-
100 percent agree. If you are going to draft a young quarterback you should give him some tools. They spent 25 million on a.j. Star. Murphy and davis. couple of million on some below average lineman. While i think Edmounds will be a good football player , maybe a great one. Did they really need to move up again. They could have saved the picks and drafted two very good interior lineman. Then you ask yourself why did they spend all that money on d. The answer is the humble oh shucks coach couldn't put his ego aside for the good of the team. He just had to add defense so he looked good. Meanwhile they drafted a qb and gave him a heaping pile of shite to work with. From the moment they pass on Mahomes every move has been a step in the wrong direction.

belicheck will see his limitations and scheme around them. He'll be in on a few plays that are designed for his skill sets. that's how you coach.
yes. the Bills on the other hand look for cookie cutter try hard players .

Mcdermott is not a good coach. I feel bad for the pegs they just can't get the right guy. Marrone split, Rex was not into the daily grind and Mcdermott is limited. His entire philosophy on team building is lazy. He only wants one type of player. Part of being a leader is taking many personality types and molding them into a team. Getting people to do what they don;t want to do . There are a lot of talented players that are quirky or even ass holes but they can help your team win games. This good guy try hard act is going to go down in flames
-
i kind of agree. i don;t expect the defense to be a disaster. If they don;t get the corner back situation fixed and some kind of pass rush they will be no better than average.
i am a broken record but i can't believe they came into this season with out any talent at wide receiver and interior o line
