Here are five bold predictions I have for the Bills offseason. Agree with them, rip them apart, or make your own!

    1. The Bills do NOT draft a QB in the upcoming draft. The team instead strengthens the defensive front 7 drafting a DT and LB with their first two picks due to the fact the cost to move up for one of the top QBs is too steep.

    2. Instead Luke McCown is signed and the QB competition is between him and Peterman. The Bills seem very invested in Peterman and sign Luke McCown as a stable force for the QB spot so if Peterman can't cut it they have a capable starter.

    3. Charles Clay is cut despite having his best season yet as a Bill. Nick O'Leary and Logan Thomas development allows the Bills to shed salary on Clay whose numbers never were enough to justify his contract.

    4. WR Mike Wallace is signed to strengthen the WR corp and the Bills list Zay Jones fourth on the depth chart behind him and Deonte Thompson. Instead of the draft the Bills add a proven capable vet to take the 2nd WR spot who has speed. Despite the stories of Zay Jones rebounding, Deonte Thompson still out performs him early on in the spring practices to hold the 3rd WR spot.

    5. The Bills are not only gifted a MNF game at home against the Jags but return to SNF for the first time in years to face the Indianapolis Colts who are coached by Frank Reich. The Bills finally make their return to SNF against Indy who hires former Buffalo Bill Frank Reich as coach to revive the Colts and Lucks career. (BUF wins on a last second 49 yard FG 22-20 that just stays inside the right upright :) )

Well these are def bold predictions. Luke McCown lmao??

There is no football move anymore. Its either you have established yourself as a runner ot you've completed the catch to the ground. Black and white. James lost possession before he completed the catch. Incomplete.

My guess with Cooks is he caught it with both feet in bounds then went out of bounds. Looked like Santonio Holmes Superbowl catch ahainst the Cardinals.

You’re contradicting yourself and your bias is showing. So you, “guess,” now??! Just stop.

  3. Mods, feel free to merge if you’d like. I want to quickly address four plays that, if they went in a different direction, completely change the dynamic of the game. These four plays are why I’m so infuriated like the rest of you. These four plays also show that the NFL is more like he WWE now where the outcome is predetermined. Unfortunatey for us, the Pats are the NFL’s John Cena and they want them to win.

    1) The Benjamin TD. Man... this play is the epitome of why NFL ratings are dropping. Every day that is a catch. Against any team other than the Pats that is a catch. The biggest issue is overturning it. Called a TD on the field there is no way you can change that. Two feet down and control! It was a momentum crusher and instead of being up 4 at half we were tied. The Bills were absolutely crushed after this. Horrible call.

    2) Lewis 4th and 1 stopped. Extending the ball and it being marked where the extension is, is only valid on out-of-bounds plays and goalline plays. The ball was correctly marked by the SJ and overturned for what reason?! Only because it’s the dang Pats. I swear man... WWE meets NFL again. Once again, another momentum crusher and it brought our defense back on the field when they were off and catching their breath. Just give it to em’ all over again. Another horrible call.

    3) Hyde PI. Initially it may have looked like defensive PI to some, but watching it live I knew it was an awful call from the start. Replay confirmed that Cooks completely jumped into Hyde and somehow made and offensive PI a defensive PI. Result... a 40+ yard gain and the Pats score a few plays later. Oh look another horrible call.

    4) Elston PI in the end zone. Look, I agree upon replay review it was PI, however there was no flag for 3-4 seconds after the pass was ruled incomplete. That is the issue I have. It literally looks like on replay that the ref looks at Gronk to make sure he didn’t catch it, gets

his approval, and then throws the flag. That is where my outrage comes from. Good call but abysmal referee work.

Its obvious the collusion the refs have in favor of NE. It’s so crushing and so demoralizing for us fans, the players, and the city of Buffalo. We don’t deserve this crap. I honestly don’t know how this changes. When the NFL just decides? I’m telling you... if these four plays are called correctly in the Bills favor today then we win. Call me wrong, but you’re wrong if you do.

    Rant end.

  4. If I heard correctly, the Bills gained 36 yards on 6 drives in the second half. 32 of those yards were on 1 drive. Meaning Buffalo gained a measley 4 yards on 5 drives! Thats astonishingly bad, and almost not believable. With that being said... where do we go from here to get this fixed?

Hypothetically, if we could trade just the second round pick we acquired for Watkins, back for Watkins or another dynamic WR, should we?

    Let Dennison go?

Ride it out and hope for improvements?

Promote from the PS? Reilly or Dupre?

It just baffles me that they changed a running scheme that was #1 in the league last year, totally fit our personnel, and switched to this zone blocking scheme this year. Something needs to be done over the bye week.

    Thoughts?
