Lamar was great. Not sure what game you were watching.
Lamar and the Ravens run game looked unstoppable, but the Texans weren’t exactly lighting the NFL on fire in terms of run defense.

Can Cam Lewis be 90% of Taron Johnson?

And they played the Texans. The Texans even if they won, no matter who they played next week were gonna get rocked
The Texans aren’t really road tested, however neither are the Chiefs or Bills. Whoever wins tomorrow will be 3 to 5.5 point road dogs.

Shanahan’s offense is plug and play with any quarterback. Guy could get the same results if you put Jamarcus Russell out there
7 points and clinging to a 1 point lead? No thanks.

Kicking game is getting bad in the playoffs.

It was never close today. Houston's offense scored 3 points.
More than it appears. It was a total beatdown.
It was 10-10 at half.

The Ravens have been bulldozing teams and it hasn’t even been close in any game, until today. The shaky start today might be amplified if a team can cash in TDs. Putting the Ravens in a huge hole early is critical.

20 days off, then you get to play a team that can’t run and can’t stop your run. Thats a cream puff route. Expect next week’s game to be much more challenging for Baltimore.

The Ravens beat the Texans earlier this year 25-9. Today 34-10. Clearly the Ravens are healthier and have kept their distance. The biggest difference between the two games, the Ravens running game has gotten better, and the run defense was dominant.

Was Lamar looking a little gimpy there?
Lamar took some shots, but if he’s upright walking around he’s fine.

Go to the Ravens fan forum Russell Street to find out which team the fans want to play.

If the Bills take care of KC they should have a great chance to exceed the whopping 31 yards on the ground the Texans amassed today.

Any guess on how many injuries the Ravens have taken today?

The Ravens want to be a passing team, but at their core they are a run heavy team that plays 12 personnel and 13 personnel with a 305lbs FB. To beat the Ravens you need to dictate they aren’t going to run the ball on you. To that end you gotta run 3 DTs and crowd the LOS.
-
Lamar with a taunt that only is called on QBs you don’t expect can run.
-
Houston should try passing the ball every down.
-
The Steelers at least would have given the Ravens a physical game. The importance of the #1 seed. Ravens had a 2 week break, then get a cake walk cream puff team that plays with little violence outside of zero blitzes that leave their weak secondary exposed. These are layup passes for Lamar.

6’6” TE vs 5’10” CB. Seems like a fair matchup.
-
If Houston had a reliable kicker, and didn’t run that stupid trick play last drive, they could be down 16-17. Instead they punted rather than go for it on 4th and 6, then have let the Ravens dominate them the past drive. Outside of a pick 6, this game seems destined to be 10-24 shortly.

Very possible.
I like how this thing is going; it feels like Houston has them right where they want them at halftime.
Dominant 3rd Qtr for Ravens. Just imposing their will on the Texans. No TOs just a composed beat down.

Vast majority of them presnap penalties.
Young team with a few nerves in the first half.
Correct. If the communication gets corrected at the half, I suspect this will only help the Texans be in a position to sustain drives and pull off the upset. No turnovers so far. This feels like a game the team that gets the first turnover wins.

I think it will be 49ers from NFC.
I suspect 49ers too. Only cause for concern being McCaffery's calf.

Penalties are interesting in this one. Texans 8 for 50, Ravens 1 for 5.

Ravens can win this game by going back to the run, 17 carries 95 yards in one half is no joke. Stop trying to justify Lamar as MVP purely on passing. Isn't this about winning? The way the Ravens can win is by running Lamar.
If the Bills win the coin toss, what should they do??
