Diggs is at the game to support his brother.

Allen is rather close to what Fitz would of been if he had a "unicorn" body.
Both are gunslingers who will do anything and everything they can to win a game.

To be honest I think it was a combination of the Patriots never adjusting and relying so much on their lineman who just didn't get to Allen all day and likely Allen giving a heartfelt speech to his line when he gave them their gifts. You know like some akin to, "We've all have had troubles this year, our team is banged up and sick but I know we can do it. I know all of you here can do it; so let's have a good Christmas and go out there Sunday and break the Pats!"

Based on the title, only 1 Bear is playing the entire Packers' team

The game just sucked all around; our team is incapable of stopping run-heavy offenses and can neither run effectively or efficiently.
I'll give Diggs a mulligan for his drop; when you watch the replay, the ball seems to hit a gust just as he's at the 5 or so and it falls unusually. Seeing as a player can't literally watch the ball into his hands while also running full speed and trying to stay inbounds I can certainly guess what happened. When the ball is coming his way, a receiver makes multiple glances at the ball and his surroundings. Diggs likely glanced up, determined its trajectory and at some point between two glances the ball lost all of its forward velocity thus instead of reaching his hands it dropped aggressively and hit his arm. Just look at his face, he's completely baffled as to how the ball ended up where it did.
Stone handed Knox returned and either his season start was a mirage or his recently injured hand didn't take to the weather real well. (After all, Allen had to put serious juice on the ball and it was cold)
Our RBs should be ashamed of their performances; on one of the RZ drives Singletary had the outside open with only 1 guy to beat and instead he ran it into a pile of guys for 1 yard. Peyton Manning even commented on it.
Someone please tell Allen to stop bothering with offside free-plays; the refs have no interest in helping us. Otherwise he had a solid game. You could tell on a few throws, like the one on the final red zone drive, that the ball wasn't behaving very well with throws going on an angle or laterally. A back shoulder throw that you have to throw on a rope, at a diagonal, into a gust of wind is going to curve to the right. (Just like Bass's missed FG) But unlike a FG kicker, Allen has little hope in trying to bend a ball on a curve while trying to lead a receiver.

Allen played well at least. The stone hands came out in force and add in the wind and you've got ample excuses for a few of the missed throws.
Unsure what else to say; probably done watching for a while if not the season.

Those people are nuts. My goodness Allen was fantastic tonight. He should have had 5 TD throws and only 1 INT. I mean I still don't get why an O-lineman was blocking downfield on the TD pass to Knox that got called back?
Breida ran the wrong route; it was supposed to be a screen to the left and Allen looked over there and he wasn't there so he improvised on the fly. Problem was the OL was still blocking for a screen and thus went down field.

We honestly have no idea. They may have tried to trade for players. Maybe the price was too high.
Pretty much my best guess; he's never "not" tried to get players at the deadline but OL are not exactly an easy purchase at the deadline. He could of got another DB but I can understand hesitance based on the health we had going into the game.

Man, listening to Josh in his post-game presser, he has no voice and doesn’t look well to me. Really hope he doesn’t have COVID or something.
I doubt anyone would feel great after running a gauntlet for 30+ minutes of running for your life and trying to drag a corpse of an offensive line up the field.

Allen's 3 Turnovers:
1. Bad Throw, to be honest I have no clue what happened there.
2. Bad Decision while under duress
3. Meaningless, he fumbled a ball on a 4th and 2 trying to get a 1st down. They gained at most 1 yard more than had we turned it over on downs.

Is Sweeney supposed to be in that exact location?
If Allen tries to rope the ball to Sanders there; Sweeney may go up for it thinking he's targeted. That may have been just as much an issue as the two Jacksonville guys in the area.

It's amazing how many times my opinion slowly shifted to being against Gruden as the 2nd set of emails came to light.
Sending Emails to a friend of Topless cheerleaders -- tasteless but not exactly evil.
Potentially sending them from a company email -- completely idiotic but still not doomsday level
Complaining about the protest -- unless there was overly racist phrases used then it would not be wrong to voice a disagreement
(If Goodell actually pressured a team to take Michael Sam, then that's worthy of complaint) That being said using slurs is unacceptable.
Being against women refs in itself isn't evil; but based on the information we have it certainly seems as if more derogatory language was used thus not good
Calling the league's commissioner slurs while working in a career that revolves around said league is both wrong but worse, it's idiotic
At the end of the day he screwed himself and I have little sympathy for him

To be honest, I wonder if the wind helped snap Allen out of it today. He couldn't put the touch on it like he did last week and was effectively forced to use his powerful arm and confidence in order to succeed to which he did in spades.

Someday we're gonna see an interview with Beane where he'll be asked why the Ertz deal never happened, and he'll reveal that there was never any interest in him at all, it was all just a media creation.
That would honestly be hilarious; or he literally told us that he checked on Ertz once every three weeks only to stir up the rumor mills for the hell of it.

I might trade up and try and get that Syracuse DB
-
I would certainly trade up with our 2nd to try and get Asante Samuel Jr. if he makes it to tomorrow. Then we'd have a risky pick and a safe pick.
-
Risky pick but he certainly seems like a passionate player and that is right up our coaching staff's alley.

I'm guessing only parts of it were scripted in terms of likely telling the players they might be in a gag video soon. Aside from that I'd say it was probably pretty much real.

- 30. Caleb Farley CB Virginia Tech

- 161. Aaron Banks OG Notre Dame
- 174. William Bradley-King EDGE Baylor
- 213. Tamorrion Terry WR Florida State
- 236. Khyiris Tonga DT BYU
Not exactly sure how Farley fell to 30 but I couldn't pass him up. (Ranked 18th on PFN's Simulator)

One thing we need on Defense is at least one more physical corner. The refs put away their whistles and while they mugged our receivers most of the game our guys seemed content to play soft.

In a sense what makes him inadequate usually; his pass rush abilities, were his boost in this game. He's a vet, he knows that he can't chase Lamar down but what he can do is use his experience and contain Lamar. Like an old savvy NHL defenseman, he used his positioning to make up for his declining athleticism which just so happens to be exactly what a D-line needs to do against Lamar. I applaud his work!

They show another angle which you could easily see Poyer didn't touch Pascal until his knee was off the ground. It was bang, bang, but they played it multiple times; so it was certainly a fumble.

In my opinion, during the huge sack play it looked as if Allen fought off the first man; then saw the other Colt. After seeing that Colt he looked as if he tried to tuck the ball in but the DE made a good play and stripped him.
Earlier in the half he was surrounded and just ate the sack. So Allen is learning that throwing the ball wildly when pressured isn't wise and that there are occasions where you just have to eat it. To me that is a great sign of his growth.

What does Allen work on this summer?
in The Stadium Wall
Posted
If he can fix it, his ability to bounce out of bad games within the game itself. For instance games like the Jaguars game where he never seemed quite right. (Granted the OL had a lot to do with it) If he can improve his consistency and make his worst games still be at a higher level he has everything required to be the best QB in the NFL bar none. He has all of Mahomes' skill but also has the ability to run like a RB which Mahomes can't exactly do. If Allen were to play next season like he did in the playoffs, he'd shatter records.
Besides that, he can always work on accuracy, recognizing defenses, etc. No QB is perfect and Allen is no exception, however he arguably has the greatest pool in which to fill. (Effectively if Fromm were a kiddie pool and Trubisky a regular 4ft pool, Allen would essentially be one of those giant waterpark pools twice the size of Olympic swimming pools)
