  1.

I don't want him traded or cut, I want him on the field playing football, where he belongs.

Amen, but I still reserve the right to say !@#$ you Dareus for being a dumbass in the first place! He should have been out there for all 7 games!

  2. To me, Tyrod is the quintessential one year wonder with little to no long-term viability. I don't think Tyrod's play is sustainable over the course of years. I sound like a broken record but I prefer a tall, strong, smart QB who can read Defenses, stand in the pocket and make all the throws, audible like a mad scientist and then deliver when the crunch time comes. Brady, Manning (both for that matter, but primarily Peyton), Brees, etc, and the good ones to great ones, can do just that: force your team to a win on their shoulders and stellar play. I don't see it in Tyrod, and mainly due to his inability to make the cerebral part of the game the most important part. Much like EJ, like his work ethic and attitude and desire, but for him the size and football acumen isn't where I'd want it to be for a long-term QB solution. I would run with Tyrod this year to see how far it gets them, and then pony up the Draft chips and take your QB of the future next year.

You're right, because we've said the same thing so many times and had such tremendous success over the past 20 years drafting our QB of the future. Good call.

  3. I miss the days before the Internet when I was blind to how many idiots masquerade as Bills fans. Tyrod Taylor made the Pro Bowl last year and after 2 games you are willing to cast him off in favor of a QB who never played in a regular season game and only played vs backups in pre season. I understand someone will counter with Taylor was a Pro Bowl Alternate. Nevertheless he is the first Bills QB to be selected to the Pro Bowl this century. You would think he would be given more than 2 games.

    Thank you.

  4. Could it be that the Bills suck more than my 4 year old on a lollipop?

Do you really think the Bills would beat Raiders and Cleveland?

We gotta stop thinking we are better than these terrible franchises ( Jaguars, Raiders, Cleveland, Rams, Lions, etc... ) The 16 years of playoff drought proves that the Bills franchise is the low standard of the NFL.

Lets forget the Browns and Raiders...We had chances with the Jags, Giants and Eagles. Guess what?

    Reasonable observation

    They beat the Jets!

    PRICELESS

  5. Not to continue these redundant arguments, but that may be pure speculation on your part.

Sorry to intrude and I hope I am not missing the point here.... Like Tyrod at 6-6?

Yes I do like Tyrod at 6 - 6. He's the only reason this team isn't going to be one of the top teams picking in the draft. If you want to get rid of him for that I can understand, but he is FAR from the problem on this team. I mean really, he throws arguably one of the best deep balls in the game (that's saying something), he can shake and bake like shady and he protects the !@#$ing football!!! WTF more can you ask for in a first year QB?!?!?

  6. I'm so sick of "Tyrod's not the reason we lost" crap. True, Tyrod has played well enough for us to win games we've lost. But in those games he didn't play well enough to win them. And that's why we will never be good with Tyrod.

Yes, we can beat teams without great QB's like the Texans if everything goes to plan. But when things don't go as planned we don't have a guy who can sling it and win.

I'm watching the Steelers right now. Tyrod is no where near Rothlisberger and he never will be. Tyrod will never be able to out duel Rothlisberger, Brady, Rogers, Brees, Newton, Wilson, and so on...and those are the guys that are always scrapping for the Lombardi.

Tyrod can get us to the playoffs if all things go according to plan. But that's it. We're not winning much else with him.

That is why we don't resign Tyrod, we let him play out next year while the QB we should draft in the 1st or 2nd round sits a year. That HAS to be the plan. If it isn't, then shame on OBD.

Are you !@#$ing high? Apparently I shouldn't have created an account and started posting here. For every 20 people that post on this board about real issues, like defense, O-line, discipline, schemes and coaching across the board, there are at least a quarter of them that still point at the QB spot as a position of concern. I clearly DON'T belong in the dumpster fire that is the fan base on TBD.

  7. How can EJ be evaluated fairly when he is always playing with the second and third team offense ? He should be given a fair chance to win the job.

These are examples of why public forums are just that.... Public, and NOT sources of insight. there is absolutely NO football reason what so ever that EJ should have time with the first string. Tyrod Taylor has done everything he needs to do to lock up the QB position for the foreseeable future. It amazes me that there are still people who have actually watched this team play this year who still think otherwise.

  8. Many changes will be required, this team lost games that you should have won, here are some ideas. Feel free to add you know

    - Fire D cordinator, not enough big plays(sacks/turnovers) with a defense that Rex wanted to compare with the 85 Bears to start the season (Petite may be available for a return)

    - Fire ST coach who never should have returned after Marrone left, (ST were complete garbage)

    - Need to find a kicker who can also kickoff, we are the only team in league that has kickoff kicker

    - Find a play making LB who can make tackles ( too many missed tackles this season)

    - Draft a QB for development, not sure about TT but he has been good at times in his first year as a starting NFL QB

I agreed right up until the last bullet point. We do need a competent backup though. We are set at QB and the people that can't seem to grasp this really baffle the **** outta me.
