I just loved watching #22 of the Rams try and reach for Josh as he outruns him... a DB can't catch Allen.

The Jets are on a run alright...to pick Lawrence in the next draft. Gase will be gone at some point before then. It all depends on who the next HC is and if they can find talent in their draft picks. Kind of doubtful ...after all, they are the JEts, jeTs, JetS.

Somewhat, as I was thinking with Moss and Motor that the Bills would work that run game more than they have so far. The Bills have played two bad teams with not much of a pass rush on either team. That should change against the next four opponents Rams, @ Raiders, @ Titans, Chiefs. Then @ Jets, Patriots, Seahawks, @ Cardinals. The Bills will need to get that run game working at some point. I suspect it will gear up this week against the Rams.

Guy is a magician. Looking at his drafts, the trade for Diggs. Moss and Davis so far this season. Oliver, Ford, Singletary, Knox, Allen, Edmunds, Phillips. Building that O line. Beane, best GM since Polian. This scouting dept, S&C staff are looking as good or better that, what the Bills had in the late 80's, early 90's. The Bills went down to Florida in that heat, 86 degrees, 76% humidity and out played the Dolphins all across the board.

Viking fans should be crying big time! So awesome to see Diggs just juke a DB out of his cleats again and again. Allen hitting those deep balls reminds me of James Lofton, Don Beebe and Kelly throwing to them.

The Patriots triple teamed him at times in the 2019 SB. Donald had only one QB hit and one tackle in that game. The Rams only sacked Brady once too. Allen probably won't have all day to choose his pass target in this game like he did against Miami... The Bills are 16th in rushing attempts and 22nd in rushing yards so far. #5 in pass attempts, #1 in passing yards, #2 in passing TDs. Here is hoping the Bills get their run game working overtime against the Rams.

I do believe that this prompted the Browns to rethink drafting Allen with that #1. Allen had apologized saying he was young and dumb. On another note, the Bills wanted to move up to the #2 spot but the Giants were adamant about taking Barkley. The Bills had a trade pending with Denver at #5 provided Bradly Chubb was gone by then, and he wasn't. I also recall that around 95% of this board wanted the Bills to draft Josh Rosen and some said that they felt "gut punched" when the Bills drafted Allen. Many, many cried about drafting Allen. Anyway, Beane and McD got their guy at #7 and also got Edmunds at #16. P.S. I sure hope the Pegula's give Beane a contract extension like they did with McD.

This game was like a preseason game with some good and some bad and it might take a few games for things to settle down on offense. What struck me was the Bills could not get an effective run game working which usually takes some heat off the QB. Moss 9 attempt's for 11 yards a 1.2 YPC AVG. Motor 9 attempts for 30 yards a 3.3 YPC AVG. YIKES! Josh Allen going 33 of 46 is something I'm hoping we don't see very often this season. I'm not going to complain very much because the Jets don't have a great secondary and the Bills took advantage of what they were seeing. Diggs was 17.9 in receiving yards per reception in 2019 and 10.8 in the Jets game. It was a win against a division opponent and I'm happy about it.

Obviously so much depends on injuries for every team each season. Still, top five defense and offense moves to top 15 with Digs. Jets 7-9 W @Dolphins 5-11 W Rams 9-7 W @Raiders 7-9 W @Titans 9-7 W Chiefs 12-4 SB champs L @Jets L Patriots 12-4 no Brady W Seahawks 11-5 L @Cardinals 5-10 L Chargers 5-11 W @49ers 13-3 L Steelers 8-8 W @Broncos 7-9 W @Patriots W Dolphins W 11-5 Division AFC East Division Champs. This seasons record could be better depending on how the Bills O line, pass rush plays. JMHO

Dak might be the more polished NFL QB, passer at this point. However, Allen has an infectious burning desire to win that elevates the entire team around him the likes of which reminds me of some of the great ones. I wouldn't trade that for anything at this point because we haven't seen that in decades...and even then.
