  1. First of all the Buffalo offense needs some big-time help in terms of better wide receivers. It's not just the injuries to the defense that held the Chiefs to 27 points. The Buffalo Bills against the Chiefs in this past playoff game didn't have an offensive play for more than 20 yards and the longest play was a run by Josh Allen. WTF happened to that vaunted Buffalo passing game we all saw in 2020? Diggs took the last few playoffs off for whatever reason, Davis was out injured and the only guys who did well were the TEs and Shakir who was in the slot. The others stunk it up. Buffalo desperately needs a new #1 WR and a #2 WR with one who can get open all the time and one that is a deep burner. If Josh Allen had that this season in the playoffs the Bills would be headed to the AFC Championship game along with a possible SB.
  2. You guys all wanting McD gone are simply wasting your time complaining about him as he isn't going anywhere this year. Instead, you could be spending your time looking at the free-agent market and upcoming draft. A real youth movement in the draft might really help this team going forward. Anyway, look at the Baltimore Ravens for the last five years in struggling just to make the playoffs and they have been struck with injuries the past few seasons. Now they are on the verge of perhaps another Super Bowl and John Harbaugh has been there 15 seasons. The Ravens didn't even make the playoffs for three seasons and they didn't fire him. It took him 5 years to get to an SB. The Buffalo Bills just have had the bad luck to face the Chiefs with Andy Reid as HC and Patrick Mahomes as QB the last few years. That and injuries.
  3. Did someone really suggest Bill Belichick as Buffalo's next head coach? The Patriots just fired the guy after a 4-13 season with the offense going 31st in points, and 30th in yards. What a cluster mess that team has been since Tom Brady left and we now know who the real star behind all those Super Bowl wins was. Bill Belichick Told Patriots owner Robert Kraft that Tom Brady was done..and the guy went on to Tampa Bay to win another Super Bowl. There is a real reason as to why so many teams that need an HC this off-season are passing on him. For the lord's sake, the man put a former DC in as the OC, and that guy was just fired as the Eagles DC. At least former Patriots OC Josh McDaniels had that offense working with Mc Jones and ole Bill most likely ruined him with his craptastic picks as OC after McDaniels left. Let's not forget that this owner's first choice for a head coach was Rex Ryan... along with his destruction of the best pass rush in the NFL No thanks, I'd rather not go back to a hit-or-miss on a complete overhaul of any aspect of the team as a new HC would want to do things his way. Like ole Wrex Ryan. Besides I really like what I've seen from new Buffalo Bills OC Joe Brady as the Bills controlled the clock by running the ball down the Chief's throats, 39 rushes for 182 yards, and ToP 37:03. Also, If only the real Stephon Diggs showed up and played well. If Buffalo had a top #2 WR that could get separation and put up some decent numbers would have also helped Josh.
  4. For all, you supposed Bills fans who desperately want a change at HC for the Buffalo Bills. Allow me to remind you of the last nearly twenty or so years between 2000-2017 look how many head coaches the Bills have had...Rex Ryan, Anthony Lynn, Doug Marone, Chan Gailey, Perry Fewell, Dick Jauron, Mike Mularkey, Greg Williams. Now, take a long hard look at the NHL Sabres in that the Buffalo Bills owner also owns. Currently 7th in a division of 8 teams. How many NHL Championships for the Sabres under this owner? Do any of you expect him to fire McD and replace him with... Exactly who do you fellows have in mind to replace one of the winningest head coaches in Buffalo Bills history?
  5. The 13 seconds was on Leslie Frazier for 2021...he is now gone! In 2022 in that Bengals playoff game, the entire team besides Allen was flat. Diggs went 10 targets for 4 receptions for 35 yards. I mean WTF is this guy a #1 WR or not? Shouldn't players step up and play their best game in the playoffs or fall on their faces? It wasn't just the defense that played poorly that day as the offense couldn't get going either and the Buffalo offensive line wasn't as good as they were this. season. One sack all game on Burrow by Milano and Burrow had his way all game. Not to mention that the Bengal's run game ran over the Buffalo defense. If you look at the big picture the team might have been emotionally spent from the Damar Hamlin episode. This team doesn't have a Bruce Smith, or Cornelius Bennett pass rusher that steps up for the playoffs, and because they haven't drafted in the top 10 they won't ever see those. Although, Beane has done a great job in finding players like Leonard Floyd who played great this season. Yet, what happened to the guy in the playoffs? Diggs falls on his face and WR Khalil Shakir steps up. Gabe Davis was out injured. Harty and Sherfield fell on their faces. This team needs to move away from the veterans who are worn out at the end of a long season and bring in younger players is all I can think of. McD has had some really good defenses #4 in points allowed, #9 in yards allowed in 2023 despite all the injuries. 2022, #2 in points, #6 in yards. 2021 #1 defense overall in the entire NFL. 2019 #2, #3. Look at the job the guy did this season in the team being 6-6 to pull out an 11-6 with two playoff home games. I have no idea who would be a better head coach for the Buffalo Bills. On another note, this team needs a serious #1 WR and a #2 WR. If Diggs can't step up when needed in the playoffs... what good is he? Davis was injured and not a real #2 anyway. Shakir has filled in that slot in Cole Beasley's role. Buffalo has two really good tight ends and the newest one could be another Travis Kelce. Filling the roster for the 2024 defense is going to be a big job going forward and you just might get your wish after this upcoming season.
  6. You don't buy it? I suppose you missed the part where a guy off the street was starting at linebacker for Buffalo in this past playoff game. He shouldn't have even been on the team, he was dreadful. What other NFL team could hold the KC Chiefs to 3 points with so many injured on defense? And the team still could have moved on had Bass made that FG. Let's not also forget that Buffalo OC Joe Brady was a rookie play-caller this season. The Buffalo D line went invisible in this game (save Groot, Von). Rasoul Douglas was still nicked up. Dane Jackson was a disaster. No pass rush on Mahomes at all. I have no answer as to why the Buffalo defensive line was nowhere to be found...none! But I don't blame the HC for them stinking it up. Need some new players IMO. BTW, What the hell happened to WR Stephon Diggs in this game? 8 targets, and 3 receptions for 21 yards in a playoff game of this importance. Injured or just worn out? No idea myself. Not blaming the HC though.
  7. Now, think about something for a second. This team just went into a playoff game with a guy fresh off the street at linebacker. The guy might know the scheme but there was a reason he wasn't even on the practice roster. The starter, the backup up, and his backup were all out injured. The Bills still held the best damn team the past four years to 3 points and it probably should have gone into OT if Bass makes that FG. The thing about this team the last few years is they tried to move forward with veteran players and it just might be that after such a long season, they fall off a cliff with injuries. This season they will be financially forced to go with a youth movement as they simply can't afford to keep everyone. That D line especially. It's not coaching because McD deserves CotY for getting this team to where it was with such a depleted force. Injuries on the defense have killed the team at the end of the season the last two years and injuries are not the fault of the coaches. Now think of this era of the NFL like the NBA when Michael Jordan was winning championships as many stars of that time were kept out of the championship games because the Bulls were always in it. The KC Chiefs have been the best team the the NFL for the last four years by being in three of the last four and winning two of them. Things may soon change for Mahomes and the Chiefs as that division just got a whole lot better. Jim Harbaugh is now the new HC of the Chargers. Denver has Sean Payton and the Raiders have a better HC/GM. Hopefully, Buffalo GM Brandon Beane can work his magic and build another playoff roster for 2024 and he has his work cut out for him as do the coaches who will need to coach up some younger players.
  8. Ha, The man took the Buffalo Bills to the playoffs with Tyrod Taylor! Just an FYI, his defenses have been in the top 5 for many seasons. They went from 20th or so to #2 overall in 2019 and #1 overall in 2021. The Bills need his defense. The man is an Andy Reid disciple and he knows how important that passing game is as he recently said so. Injuries to the defense derailed the team the last two seasons and with that 13-second debacle, that DC is gone. Crying and whining about this won't change a thing...but, keep it up if it makes some feel better to complain. Think about this in terms of what happened with Dan Marino and with other teams. The Buffalo Bills kept ole Dan from the SB and kept KC, and Denver outta the SB too back in the early 90's. Look at it this way. As good as John Elway was, he didn't win an SB until Shanahan built a power run game in Denver with RB Terrell Davis. Look at this past Buffalo game to see what Joe Brady has done with the Buffalo run game. I'm already excited for the 2024 season.
  9. What is it with all this negative BS? Buffalo lost this last game to KC 24-27 by 3 points because Norwood went wide right. Think about how depleted that Buffalo defense was and they were still in the game! McD has no control over the defensive injuries both this season and last. All you complaining brainiacs should be signing his praises for the job he has done this season without all-pro LBer Matt Milano, and all-pro CB Tre White. Plus, so many players dinged up the last few weeks the team had to pull a guy off the streets to start at linebacker...and the game was still so close. The Buffalo defense still finished in the top ten #4 in points allowed, and #9 in yards allowed. For some reason, the Bill's top WR went invisible in the last two games. Against KC, Diggs 8 targets for 3 receptions for 21 yards. against the Steelers 9 targets, 7 receptions for 52 yards no TDs. Where has Diggs been since week 6? Because he hasn't had a 100-yard game since then. Now, think about where this team has drafted the last few seasons and Beane still manages to find diamonds in the later rounds Dalton Kincade, and O' Cyrus Torrence with those first two picks. Be grateful that the Buffalo Bills have an HC that has taken this team to the playoffs 6 of 7 years and won the division the last 4. This season after being 6-6 the team went on a tear to finish 11-6. McD saw a problem with his OC and replaced him with a man who calls running plays. 39 runs, 39 passes with a ToP 37:03 to KC 22:57.
  10. I'll bet KC HC Andy Reid will retire sooner rather than later.
  11. Look back at that first game against the KC Chiefs in week 14. 11 targets, and 4 receptions for 24 yards, that sucks. WoW.... a #1 WR that was owned by L'Jarius Sneed. Some on Buffalo stated that Diggs was doubled and the KC players stated that only Sneed was covering him. We all love Stephon Diggs. But man, what's wrong?
  12. no 100-yard games since WEEK 6! Dunno whats wrong with the guy but he is currently wayyyy over paid for what he has done in the last two playoff games. This is the time he is supposed to shine. Perhaps he wants out of Buffalo and wants to play with his brother in Dallas? In my view, the Bills need a new #1 WR.
  13. EIGHT targets, 3 receptions for a measly 21 yards Yikes, not a good playoff performance when the team needs a win. If he is injured then let him sit to recover. Sneed is a pretty darn good CB as he only allowed ONE TD this season and that was to Shakir in this game.
  14. Look, it was a case of injuries the last two seasons and the 13 seconds was Frazier who is now gone. Not to mention that the guy is now dead to the NFL world as an HC or DC from what I see. I think that Kelce lifted the Buffalo curse when he attempted that throwback and it went on KC. For some reason this past game it cam back with the "wide right" AGAIN. Buffalo couldn't stop KC on defense in the run game simply because the Chiefs targeted Johnson in the run game and a 200lb DB isn't stopping a 300lb lineman anytime soon. That and the fact that AJ Klein might have looked good last game...not in this game as he was owned. Douglas was nicked up and not up to his usual self. Injuries killed the Buffalo defense this last game and IMO McD should have put in Elam and Willams to help out. The Buffalo LBer corps stunk that day. On offense, Scotty Norwood appeared to replace Bass for that last FG. The Buffalo defensive line took the day off (save Groot, Von) with ZERO sacks, only two QB hits and 4 pressures on 24 dropbacks. Buffalo had a rookie play-caller on offense and the Chiefs had Andy Reid and Matt Nagy. Not to mention the three best interior line in the NFL. Lastly, WTF happened to WR Stephon Diggs????? EIGHT targets, 3 receptions for a measly 21 yards and a fumble. This is not what a number one WR should look like in a freaking playoff game. Injured? P.S. Defense wins Championships... and this years Buffalo defense fell on its face because of injuries...again. Still, 24-27 and a missed FG to end the game.
  15. The entire defensive line save Von and Groot were MiA on Sunday. KC is known to have bad tackles that are getting flagged for holding and yet...nothing by Buffalo. 0 sacks, 4 pressures on 25 dropbacks by Patty, and 2 hits the entire game. As much as Buffalo attempted to keep the ball away from Mahomes with all the running the Bills did (39 for 182, 2 TDs) and with ToP 37:03 vs 22:57. KC was ripping that defense a new one every second-half series. They would target the 200lb defensive player to block for the run and bowl him over. Klein should have loaded his RV and gone on vacation...oh wait, he played like he did. Douglas wasn't right. Injuries killed the Buffalo LBers and CBs. Williams and Elam should have been in there.
  16. What's gotta be frustrating to the entire team is they all know how badly the defensive injuries hurt this team this week. Let's face it, I like Klein but he shouldn't have been out there against KC. Douglas looked gimpy and not up to full speed. OTOH Diggs, Oh man. 8 targets, 3 receptions for 21 yards...that #1 WR must have been nursing some sort of injury or it might be time to move on or get him some real help at #2. Very few were open and KC was in constant dime.
  17. Good post! DEFENSE...wins championships...unless players are constantly injured like Buffalo in the last two seasons. OR bad coaching ...13 seconds. McD called some great games this season and was the backbone of the team when the offense couldn't get things going in the first half of many games. Leonard Floyd seemed to disappear in the last two games and Mahomes with bad tackles had little pressure on him. 0 sacks and only 2 QB hits all game. 4 pressures on 25 dropbacks. Plus, the Chiefs targeted the 200lb defensive player to run at...The Chiefs killed the Buffalo defense this game. Would it have been worse to pull Klein and put in Williams and also Elam? Buffalo D line took the day off this Sunday (save Groot, and Von), or was that Chiefs interior line just that good? T Bass turned into Scotty Norwood. the special team lost a game this season with 12 men on the field. On offense, it seemed like few Buffalo receivers could get open against KC. Speaking of invisible...where was Diggs in this game? Sneed owned him. I don't know how or why but I'm hoping the Bills find a way to sign Bucs WR Mike Evans! Beane had better build a better defense. I'm sure he thought with Miller and Floyd that they might have a decent chance at having a Bruce Smith, and C Bennett duo...but noooo. Floyd played well up until the playoffs...dunno what happened there. Buffalo QB Josh Allen continues to amaze me and it's a darn shame that Diggs 8 targets, 3 receptions for 21 yards played so poorly. Buffalo finally found an OC that can call run plays that work 39 rushes for 182 yards and 2 TDs. ToP for Buffalo 37:03. Cheers!
  18. Two words....Mike Evans!
  19. Brady did great this season as the Buffalo Bills finally found an OC who will call run plays. Besides, look at his record W/L he took over after Denver after the other guy went 5-5. Joe Brady went 6-1 in the regular season and that one loss was to the Eagles when they actually looked good. 34-37 in OT. In this last game, Brady was a rookie OC and he faced Matt Nagy and Andy Reid in calling plays for the Chiefs. The 2023 Kansas City Chiefs have the #2 overall defense this season. It was Bass that missed that FG.
  20. If you think about it the Buffalo Bills had a rookie OC calling plays and the Chiefs had Matt Nagy, and Andy Reid on the other side. The only real beef I have with this coaching staff is with the special teams coach. 12 players on the field cost a game and this miss by Scott Norwood.
  21. This happened all season to the Buffalo Bills for some reason. Teams for whatever reason seemed to play the best football of the season against Buffalo. Bass pulled a Norwood...
  22. The Buffalo injuries to their defense might still be a problem. McD has overcome so much with so many injuries this season. However, the offense has no excuse and should get an early lead to allow that run game to get working. The Buffalo Bills seem to be squeaking by so many teams this season and let's not forget that throwback pass by Kelce that would have won them the game if not for the Offside. Buffalo has the potential to be as explosive on offense as they were in 2020,2021. This year they blew out the Raiders, Commanders, Jets, and recently the Dallas Cowboys. Another concern is this Ref crew as they are the same ones for this year's Eagles game with so many bad calls against the Bills. We will see. Buffalo should win this game.
  23. This game is what counts as the Chiefs have been the best in the AFC the last four years and have been keeping Buffalo from the SB. This reminds me of "if" McD and Co. could beat the Patriots when it counted because until 2020 the Patriots owned this franchise. Home field baby! If they can't get up for this game for the ownership, the fans, for the win. This is what it's all about!
  24. WHAT? I thought they fired him when the team was 6-6. Seriously though, what a defense that last few weeks. One player goes out with an injury and another steps in and the defense doesn't miss a beat. Aside from McD, the entire team gets a game ball as it was an amazing effort by so many. Josh puts the cape on and makes a 52-yard TD run. 4 TDs by the alien unicorn.
