Exactly, he was fired and took the first job offering that came to him
He didn't quit on them to take the Cincy job
This. I'm guilty of making fun of Hue this year as well, but the guy lost his mother & brother this year, so working is likely good for him. I like Baker, but this seems vindictive and mean-spirited.

I don't know if it's his injury or frustration with the offense, but Rogers has just looked miserable the whole season. I've been re-watching The Sopranos and my god, Tony seems like Kathie Lee Gifford compared to Aaron.

lol I thought he called a pretty good game against us yesterday. Just keep giving it to Fournette, why not? Esp. with Bortles as your QB.
I bet he's angrier at Fournette than St. Doug this morning.

I like the Colts' chances for the last spot. They play their whole division and the Cowboys & Giants to end the year.

Would you care to answer a survey on the new tackling rules, coach?

This is some good Tier ranking. I would put the Bears with the Steelers grouping but that's just me.

I'll never get over Orton's slide at Oakland. That alone push's him down the list.
Yeah the slide in Denver is what I associate with Orton. Now and forever.

People don't want college scores to become the norm in the NFL, no matter how hard they try to make it happen.
It's already the biggest Monday Night Football game since 2014 and should adjust up from that - West Coast teams always rise in the finals from the overnights. Comparing it to Packers-Pats, which was on broadcast instead of cable and featuring the two most famous players in the league is silly.

Hopefully he'll work well with league commissioner He Hate Me.

Surprised Fitz only played for 7 teams to be honest.

Unfortunately this looks to be a bad year to finish with a top 5 pick. Looking at mock drafts the top talent is mostly on the defensive side and there are only 1 or 2 Quarterbacks likely to go in the top 10 (though his could change of course) limiting our potential haul for trading down. It's only November though, so who knows how it'll play out.

NFL Network’s “start em “ has Trubisky as 3rd ranked qb this weekend ?
Also Bears D of course.
I like Trubisky but why so high ?
Probably because of excepted good field position for his quick tosses to Cohen.

wow
just wow.....
i can't recall this happening in town outside of a blackout game in over 40 years...
In Toronto we've been screwed over ROYALLY with the NFL Sunday Ticket on cable and DAZN, so they owe it us to carry as many games as they can....
If you have cable it'll still be on FOX or the Barrie station (maybe would work with a digital adapter as well depending on the area). Is DAZN still bad?

Pretty stupid segment. At least he didn’t cry about it.
Yeah what a wimp! What kind of man would cry about his son's birth defect or 59 people murdered in his home town!

CTV Toronto is throwing in the towel on the Bills earlier than normal this year, airing Steelers/Ravens on Sunday. Bills/Colts must have been a low rated game, as Canadian stations LOATH giving up a simulcast (ie Canadian commercials playing over an American broadcast on both the Canadian and US stations in Canada).

Are the Rams using counterfeit draft picks at this point?

The 2-5 Bills could not give up their 3rd this year for a guy who is going to be a FA unless he was willing to agree to an extension now. They will hang on to their 3rd, and try to throw a bunch of money at him in FA and have both.
Guessing they knew they weren’t paying him so a 3rd was a good return for 1/2 season
4 minutes ago, Jobot said:FA at the end of the year.. so we won't part with any draft picks to sign him then.
Yeah you guys are likely right. My thinking was he could come in this year and help out Allen and the Bills could extend without competing with other teams. Though your logic trumps my "things I'd like to happen."
-
Ugh, our 3rd rounder was so much tastier. Hard to think of a better receiver available at that price to help out Allen, especially with the amount of cap space we'd have next year to extend him.

I'll save my snark for the JaMarcus Russell thread.

The "best" part was when Witten said McD was a good coach because he saw him wearing a camo hat on the weekend. If they want to save face, ESPN should move Jason to the pre-game show and put Booger in the booth. It's a shame he's bringing the broadcast down, I really like the visuals on the MNF games this year. I hope the rest of the broadcasts copy the graphic where they list the skill position players on the field for every play.

Hot take, he might not be a good OC. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/coaches/DaboBr0.htm
I get his talent sucks but how much more talent does SF have than us right now? They are 15th in the nfl.
They have more talent on offense at every position except for RB.

I've done a deep dive into the NFL rulebook and found something shocking: It's actually legal to retain an OC for consecutive seasons. Crazy but here me out guys: why don't we retain the guy who's offense has been improving and give the rookie qb some continuity in year 2.
