With all due respect, what’s the point of these post? Honestly, I read this thread and haven’t been as proud of Bills fans as I am right now. Personally, I think if you make fun of an entire region of people, you are probably a loser. But donating money to a great cause and rising about pettiness is the best way to handle the situation. What you did is exactly what that dork did in the first place.
good on the people who donated. Kill them with kindness. And it’s probably not bad for karma either. ?
"Clapping back" is a natural response when someone tries to berate your city and people. Donations are nice but I think donating to that vet in buffalo (i had a similar issue with gi bill repayment after last years late payment debacle and dropping classes too late, it really kills you & I am still dealing with it now) is a better cause then donating to this pompous asses cause. Not all of us can kill them with kindness, we aren't all built that way i guess, lol.

They weren't the Colts. And they were no longer the Browns.
The players were the same and so was much of the front office, the name and place they play their home games changed. That's like calling the Las Vegas Raiders a brand new team next year.

Well....they did get a brand new team which won that town a SB within 5 years of arriving...
Fun Facts:
-as Irsay was in negotiations with the City of Indy, the Maryland General Assembly introduced a bill that would allow the City of Baltimore to seize the Colts by eminent domain---can you imagine?? That's insane.
-Elway refused to got to Baltimore and Kelly refused to go to Buffalo
-Johnny Unitas and Lamar Jackson both played for Louisville
Fun Facts:
The Ravens were actually not a brand new team, they were the Cleveland Browns with a new name they did not have an expansion draft.
Baltimore has the 2nd highest murder rate per capital in the United States.
Baltimore just recently moved out of the top ten rattiest cites in the United States.
Kelly ended up playing for Buffalo, Elway did not play for Baltimore.
Jim Kelly & Johnny Unitas were born in Pittsburgh

I bang the table for Josh, I’m a huge Josh supporter.
The statement above is being thrown way too much by Bills fans, half of the Josh Allen doubt at this point has been created and repeated by Bills fans that support Josh Allen just because there’s some vendetta against the pre-draft pundits of Allen. It’s almost like in an attempt to defend Allen, they’re actually furthering the rhetoric.
To rightfully admit that Deshaun Watson is currently better and with higher potential than the also talented and potential full Josh Allen doesn’t mean that I don’t like Josh Allen.
The anti-anti-Josh Allen movement is like the Me Too and feminist movements in that the point has been made already and now people are just going too far and only hurting themselves and their stances.
DeShawnee is a probably a better QB right now but he does not have higher potential. DeShawnee has the best WR in the league who accounts for almost half his passing yards and passing touchdowns in his first three years.

how so?
have you been around to watch a franchise go from nothing to Champions a few times? Please list them so you have some base as a fan for watching this great process..... if none, then stay quiet in your little corner...
takes various steps to get there, and then to get to the top

Once again with the net points thing
This time I sorted the table by PF for your viewing pleasure.
It's no surprise that scoring lotsa points is a pretty good predictor of being playoff bound
But there are some anomolies. Tampa scores lotsa points. Going home.
Same with Dallas and the Lambs
Then there's Buffalo. Welook quite unremarkable as far as Net points are concerned, for a playoff team. Perhaps a tad under-performing on the wins, even. But Lordy - those PF. Please, Offense, oil up those cylinders and run on 'em.
Houston stands out as the only playoff team with a negative Net Point differential.
Says "Net points thing" then sorts by points for, mildly infuriating.....

Watson has an extremely 8.1 ypa average over his first three seasons (37 games). Since I regard ypa as probably the most important stat in terms of judging a qb, the case to me seems to be pretty well closed. Allen’s is 6.6, btw. As for TD/INT ratio, watson’s is 71/29 and Allen’s is 30/21. Watson also led the Texans to a victory over NE, something Allen hasn’t done yet.
Oh I love comparing guys drafted the same year in the same offensive system.

If you’re choosing Allen over Watson you’re blinding yourself as a Bills fan.
This shouldn’t be a debate.
Im as big of an Allen supporter as there is, but Watson is primed to be one of the best in the league for a long long time.
You're not an Allen supporter. We get it you think he isn't going to be good. You probably thought that pre draft and now have to defend your stance.

Huh. I thought he added quite a bit of talent in a very short amount of time, especially considering the talent level of that team when he took over.
I know theres more to building a football football team than just acquiring talent. But I’m still a bit surprised. I felt like Dorsey at least brought some respectability back to the Browns. I mean, people were talking about them going to a freaking super bowl ffs.
?
Then he goes out and hires Freddie kitchens as head coach....lol

I don't know anything about the guy, but simply on taste alone he sounds competent, especially in comparison to his competition.
He was one of the main guys that were part of moneyball and the Oakland A's talent on the cheap in baseball. Smart guy.

Yeah, sorry to all the Marrone backers, this is the correct response. A coach that can walk out on his team like that is trash. I don't care about the reasons, like it was a smart business move etc. That will always be a part of his culture, we dodged a bullet when he left.

This is so weak, is it an attempt at humor? It goes well with the guy under yours “why do fans care about the money the Bills have 90 million”
The Bills have money freed up now so they should spend it on average or replaceable players and not worry about it? Come on.
Murphy is robotic, slow, and has the worst play recognition of any DE I have watched this season. That’s very little value.
Peoole are now excited because he bumped his sack total with a few meaningless ones in week 17? How quickly we forget week 16 when he was running past screens and counters like he was wearing a blindfold.
Maybe some people like Trent, maybe he is a great guy, I just don’t see him adding value to a team that’s making a run.
I agree with you but even with a ton of cap space we are gonna miss and not always have the best player at every position in the nfl.

Picking an outlier year to divine some meaning is foolish
Your favorite team the Patriots won the Super Bowl last year by holding the Rams to 3 points, your boy Brady only threw for 250 yards. It's not an outlier Millennial.

yup, Montana sacrificed several thousand yards to grind out the clock at SFI didn't realize Joe was back playing in SF this year.
23 minutes ago, Billsfan1972 said:And the worst offense in the playoff???? Buffalo..... Next closest is GB (and then NE who was garbage since November), that had a much tougher schedule & did too struggle, yet somehow Rogers did have 4 300 yard passing games....
How about 5 of the top 10 defensive teams didn't make the playoffs...... Or Three teams ranked in the 20's in defense did make the playoffs....
Yes much has been written about Winston & we know others like Ryan & Stafford makes for easy fodder.....
Stop your crusade......
Wrong, the top 4 defenses made the playoffs and 7 of top 10.
Also, only two teams in the bottom half of the league in defense made the playoffs.

What’s the definition of a perfect rotation guy? A guy you wouldn’t pay starters money too?
Yes you can't have the best player in the league at every position this isn't Madden.

I guess one team in the AFCE can beat NE.
Tom Brady doesn't know you are posting on a Buffalo Bill's board on his behalf(26,000 times lol). If you wanted to impress him, a better route would have been training to be a masseuse then moving to Brookline, Massachusetts & opening an "Asian" Massage parlor.
That's what I thought.
You are pretty pathetic man(is man your pronoun?)
Millenials like you think you've got things figured out and end up looking stupid everytime.(see how little you understand about motivation, like the Dolphins team motivation vs the Pats.)

If Flores had such power to fire up that team as you say, he could have done it against the Jets and Giants...
How could Flores possibly fire them up (against a far better team)?
On 12/17/2019 at 1:53 PM, Mr. WEO said:I was pointing out that what the poster said was dubious. You seem to have missed that. Specifically, that a blowout at home months ago would motivate a team in week 16 to do (against a far better team) what they could not be motivated to do (against much worse competition) in weeks 14 and
I guess it's actually exactly like the poster said, sure seems like there was some motivation there today....??

His dysfunctional Browns beat the Bills..........so the Bills probably aren't the benchmark.
I don't think the NFL as a whole is nearly as sold on the Bills program or QB as Bills Mafia is.
The Bills would need to make some serious noise in the playoffs to not be seen as a team that just benefitted immensely from a fantastic schedule that had them at 9 wins before the tough games even started(at which point they lost 2 of the 3 with the win coming against rookie QB Duck Hodges).
The 10 win Bills in week 15 aren't the benchmark huh? Duck Hodges beat the Browns we lost to thr Browns and beat the duck. This is the NFL, where no team is an easy win and teams change week to week.
You must think every win is guaranteed to go to the team that is higher in the power rankings in the nfl. Why arent you making millions off betting moneyline parlays everyweek?

I guess I would agree in a public setting it's kind of terrible not even corny. But in a group setting it's fun "ribbing" guys like when you're in the military or on a team. I guess Social media does kind of blur the lines between public(in poor taste) and just having a little fun.
