  1. And I think it speaks well of Lynn that he believes he can coach that aspect of TT's game.

I'm just not convinced that, after 6 seasons in the league and two as a starter, that TT can evolve in that area. At this point, there shouldn't be any unfamiliarity or discomfort with any route concepts and their designed impacts on the defense. Which is a shame because Taylor clearly brings a set of unique tools to the position otherwise.

The Bills version of this is laughably inept.

  2. If we're going to dream - Bill Cowher HC, Chan Gailey OC, & Jim Schwartz DC. QB - ????

    Go Bills!!!!!

I think Tyrod could win enough for a playoff berth with that coaching staff in place. Maybe even AFC East cuz I think we can split with the Patriots with TT and that staff (Shwartz D).

While we keep looking for our Super Bowl QB.

  3. Sammy sounds like a gaping vagina that is setting up his excuses to get that next big contract.

Absolute truth is that Tyrod is the only Bills skill player that hasn't even been listed as "questionable" let alone "out" all season. He's prolly OK with any of this finger pointing.

I've posted on here a few times that - at least on the views they show us on TV - the Bills run very few (zero from what I could tell vs Pitt) deep routes for Olympic Athlete Goodwin or All-world Sammy - when his foot doesn't hurt.

My hope and belief is that he's just asking for the ball - from the OC - not TT.

  4. Now picture this, the Bills beat the 2 teams they should have beat in the Jets and Dolphins and are sitting at 9-5, with the Jets and Dolphins to finish the season.

Ravens game and the Monday Night Seattle game are the back breakers. A close third is not showing up for the first 2 quarters when Pitt came to town.

  5. In his 28 starts, does he have any 4th quarter come from behind wins? I don't think he does. To me, this is telling and it's time to move on.

n 4 quarters from behind - from what I could see on TV:

    - Zero TT rollouts

    - Zero Deep balls thrown

    - Zero Deep routes even run (that I could see)

    - Olympic Sprinter Goodwin playing

    - Sammy Watkins playing

    - Clay playing

    - Wind 3 mph

    TT:

Known to throw very well on the run

Known to have the prettiest and most accurate deep ball in the NFL

Best running QB in the NFL

So, Keep him in the pocket, throwing underneath, even down 3 scores.

Whoever is responsible for this should just walk out of New Era and not turn around.

It's really not much harder than this...

  7. According to the computer models, if the Raiders and Bills played 10 times in Oakland, the Bills would win 4 of those games.

I just want this weekend's game to be one of the four. Is that too much to ask for?

A win against Oakland would not only enhance our playoff chances, it would also convince a lot of people (myself included) that this squad might be more than a middling team.

Even living in Seattle and watching that referee abortion has not convinced u ?

This second half team is Top 5...not middling

  8.

True, but also what if we just punched it in on one of our four opportunities from the 10 yard line.

Our starting center had broken his leg. What if all we had to do is just kick the tying field goal instead of having to score a TD - and call UFB runs into the middle - where the BU center was getting abused ?

Awful playcalling on that 4 play series - made worse by no options with a Super Bowl D, at home, without our starting center all of a sudden.

FG was there anything can happen in OT.

Just quit it. D and the last plays of the 1st half lost that game. Not TT or the O.

  9. They are probably 7-4 if Dareus isn't a complete waste the first 8 games of the year.

My favorite "what-if" is they called a PF on Sherman in Seattle and Carp hits the close FG at the half.

I think we beat Seattle, are 7-4, on a 3 game W streak, and a feared team going into the Playoff Stretch.

    Huge no-call. Huge.

  10. Great article with more meat than my attempt to do the same thing with my thread about the Bills in computer rankings. They are completely objective and take into account how well everyone has played in total. With only 32 teams in the NFL, there is far more data between teams and connection than college football.

So just to add to the optimism and the fun to watch factor that Tyros and Shady provide, the Bills are currently #7ish on most of the reputable computer polls - surprisingly only the second best 6-5 team behind Pittsburgh at #4.

Their remaining SOS is the 4th easiest even after already playing the Jags.

It's not how the NFL does things but I submit[ted] this only as yet another source of optimism that this team is pretty good compared with the rest of the league - even considering the brutal losses to Miami, NY, and the Ravens.

    Have fun and Go Bills:

  11. I do believe that having a hybrid QB/TE could also open the offense up to more wildcat and reverses with options for the runner to throw a pass. Anyone see Chris Hogan's toss Sunday? Imagine Thomas or Manuel tossing that rock!

This is really fun to read:

    http://blogs.ourlads.com/2016/03/02/quarterback-ball-velocity-at-nfl-combine-2008-2015/

Logan Thomas was the first QB to ever hit 60 mph at the combine - not a stat normally reported - dude can really fire it.

I think TT's arm strength is fine - he threw 50.

  12. I liked when he showed flacco he was the man by passing for 111 yards and scoring 7 vs him.

I'm just messing with you. You seem like a good poster, TT's consistency is maddening though

Questionable D Is ranked #12th. Passing game #32nd.

He's got work to do. Lot of it.

Brutal game. Even after the Thurs night Jets recovery game, no doubt in my mind, cost Roman his job. TT also missed many open WR's in that game but Roman was the sacrificial lamb.

Bills have scored 25 + avg since that abortion.

TT is much higher than 32 on QBR - which does take into account running - which matters - like today. Bortles and TT.

Thanks for saying I'm a good poster. Try not to drunk post. It's hard ..

  13. Not JFH.

I'm just me. Only joined last year to introduce, and predict TT as the answer at QB. And I was confidently correct during the QB competition in the 2015 TC. Was complete $ at VT. And at Baltimore. I had no doubts.

So let's review all the naysayers general comments:

    - running QB's just get hurt

    - TT is like Tavaris Jackson

    - If he was a starter he already would be

    - Just a gimmick QB - will be an afterthought after TC

    - We need a pocket passer - like Sam Bradford

    - he only threw 37 total NFL passes

    - H's only 6'1"will never be an NFL QB

So, TT touches the ball on every play and is the only star Bills skill player that hasn't been hurt this year. I could have told u fvcks this 18 months ago. He played his same game at VT and only missed 2 games in 4 years. He get it and is a tough guy.

Brady, Bradford, Romo, et al all had season ending injuries IN the pocket. It's not safer there.

Bradford was absolutely painful to watch on Thanksgiving - you want that - you are brain dead.

Flacco would never let him start cuz he knew the fans would see he's the man - especially the last 2 years. That OC (Kubiak) offered our boy twice what the Bills paid him in '15 but he played for US cuz he would rather start than be rich.

He has lots of room for improvement but he ONLY THREW 37 NFL PASSES before 2015.

14-11 with a questionable D and at best one receiver per game that would start on any other NFL team.

I'm an admitted total homer and TT has tons of room for improvement but holy cow - the in-gratitude and hope that he will fail is unbearable.

Keep drafting QB's - you can never have enough - TT will be replaced in time but I do think he's the one to break the non-playoff streak ..

All ya'll best hope that he's the one to do that in Buffalo cuz if the Bills cut him loose after this season, he will be the QB that extends that streak against the Bills on some other AFC team.
