https://www.governor.ny.gov/news/governor-hochul-directs-state-agencies-prepare-strong-winds-and-lake-effect-snow-may-cause
"Governor Kathy Hochul today directed state agencies to begin emergency response preparations as lake effect snow and strong winds have the potential to create dangerous blizzard-like conditions off the shores of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario this weekend. The Governor also released a video message to New Yorkers updating them on the latest forecasts and urging caution as the storm moves into New York." -

Ground crews will be prepared. Jeffrey Fowler with the Penn State Cooperative Extension works closely with grounds crews all over the world. He said the Bills crew has seen snow before.
"Armageddon could hit them and they wouldn't even know the difference," Fowler said over Zoom.
Chest thumping nonsense... we all know two games have been moved in the last few years because of weather. Fill that stadium with 2 - 3' of lake effect snow and there is nowhere to move it to.

You might want to look through all 18 pages of this thread. I'm seeing quite a few people beyond trembling in their boots and a couple that I think might have filled them already.
Probably what's being unsaid here is that a lot of us are trying to figure out if we'd be able to make our 90 minute or 2 hour drives into Orchard Park safely and in time to make the game. So it's a mix of how would the game experience be and can I even make it to the stadium.

Is that 6” throughout the day or later in the day happening?
Mine says 6" Saturday but most of that looks like it's really Friday night, so it could be cleared Saturday... but then again Saturday shows 55mph wind gusts... so who knows where the snow will actually end up... The accuweather link above shows even worse weather for Orchard Park https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/orchard-park/14127/daily-weather-forecast/2128285?day=3 -
TMRW (Tomorrow app) shows 6" snow Saturday and 5" Sunday with 22mph wind Sunday. Not ideal but hopefully they can clear the Saturday snow from the stands and field so all we are dealing with is Sunday's weather.
Are there worse forecasts out there?

Where do y'all see snow? Everywhere I check shows 26 mph wind and 10% chance of precip from 1-4 pm on Sunday
The forecast really won't mean much until Friday/Saturday. Mine was calling for 20" of snow yesterday but today it's back to 1" with the big snow being Mon/Tue. -
Still way too early for accurate weather forecasts, but for conversations sake... would the game be played if this turns into a blizzard?
A while back I read that the NFL has been using data from the Tomorrow weather app (they apparently pay for the high level of data access from Tomorrow). I downloaded the free version and it has fluctuated on the weekend forecast but right now they have it as 19.55 inches of snow and 24mph wind... hopefully that changes back to yesterday's forecast of about 2 inches of snow.

If Bills fans are “scared” by this game I suggest you find another outlet for your entertainment.
....
I don't think people are scared of the Steelers but I do think we are scared of the Bills, a team good enough to beat everybody, a team that can be bad enough to lose to everybody. My thinking is this, as a team the Bills are gelling at the right time, and it's a team game, someone is going to make the big play at the crucial time. No reason why this can't be our year.- 4

They are going to have to protect the ball. Cook is going to get a lot of carries in this one and I hope they keep Fournette active.
I can't see why they wouldn't in a game they may need to focus more on running the ball. Fournette is a good 30 pounds heavier than Cook and it's all muscle. I'd let Fournette batter them as often as possible, their D will be worn out in the second half.- 3

Leonard Fournette sure feels like he was a good pick up right now. I'd hate to be going into this with just Cook and Murray for RB. (assuming Johnson is out)

The rain is so bad right now. 34 degrees and steady rain through about 6:30p or so.
Thought I'd look at ticketmaster for a laugh.... you can get in for $12 -
No way I'm tempting fate and going with the last option, so I'll steer way clear and take the first option 🙂

No, the Browns need to win
If the Browns lose don't we have a chance to overtake them both? Or is our conference record to weak to take the tiebreakers?

My dream is that the fins lose to both Dallas and Baltimore. Then the Bills can sit out key players in the final week.
We would still need to beat Miami to take the division, so no one's sitting out -

I was at the game yesterday. Coolest stadium I've seen. Nothing pathetic at all.
Can't find one negative about it.
Good to hear, looks like a nice place, I just mean the support or lack of support, which is completely understandable to me. -
Dear @oldmanfan reality is that we just did the following
Philly away - OT loss/ tough stadium
KC away - Win/tough stadium
Dallas home - Win/lovely stadium
LA away - Win/pathetic stadium
yes LA was a bad game, but you can’t just toss out the 3 games before it. Which you didn’t, but come on, this team is hot!

Will they even get lucky again and beat NE?
Not a playoff team, even if they are.
Philly away - lost in overtime
KC away - won on the road in a tough stadium
Dallas home - won in a blowoutBut lets yell the sky is falling because we had to fly to the West coast on a short week and squeak out a win
This Bills team is jelling at the right time

On a short week we flew to the West coast, turned the ball over 3 times, and still found a way to win. Celebrate the victory! On to New England.

He was outside for over three hours in a cold rain, which for me is the worst condition. I would much prefer 10 degrees and sunny, or 20 degrees and snowy. The rain just soaks in and chills you to the bone. I'd be surprised if a lot of guys didn't get something affecting their health.
I was outside in it for 10 hours and I'm more than twice his age 😇 Kids today....- 1

Both of my kids at college and many of their friends over the past few weeks have been hit with a nasty cold-flu like illness. They all tested negative for flu, covid, strep, mono, etc... Apparently just a nasty virus. I don't know if that's what is hitting NFL teams but it's not necessarily Covid.
Mom's long term care has had 5 outbreaks since fall and every one has been norovirus... and if you get the norovirus you may end up wishing you had covid, nasty bugs going around this year.- 1
