  1. I think Diggs is basically fed up/frustrated whatever it may be.

I just caught a quick minute of an interview where some lady was remarking to Diggs  on how it’s going to be your time soon and he replied they have been at it for 3 years now and while that’s all nice and stuff it’s time to figure it out. Wouldn’t it be great to have been part of the Mcd Diggs exit talk.

it’s truly a shame we got hit so hard with injuries and circumstances this season and what could have been.

Would it be surprising though that all that all of sudden we look like a team needing to restock the roster for another serious run In 2-3 years?

I know we still have a good roster but Beane has admittedly said we probably are behind the Bengals, Chiefs right now and the Dolphins, Jags are coming up fast. Having Josh just isn’t enough clearly to win a Super Bowl. He needs more help and fast.

It’s going to be an interesting off-season given the needs.

I think the Bills organization has let down Allen and it's fans. They have clearly failed to provide adequate protection and dangerous weapons for theor elite QB.

They have mostly missed on drafting solid offensive pieces. Some could argue rhey neglected it with a heavy concentration on the defense side of the ball.

They have failed to produce in the playoffs. Look at what KC did. Mahomes wins Super Bowl quickly and appears in another. Eagles with Hurts makes Super Bowl in his 3rd year. Allen in 6 years has no appearances. That says it all folks. You have you answer..

I agree with this especially when you have a generational Qb. Kc turns no stone to provide those things for Mahomes. I think they gladly give a bit up on the defensive side of the ball but they pay an aggressive d and found some disrupters on their D line.

I believe Mcd knows the pressure is on. I don’t remember ever hearing him mention winning a Super Bowl so much in his season ending Pc. Before the line was figuring out how to leap Kc.  I think the players right now want or maybe demand answers, we want answers and we seem to be just stuck.

Sure the window is always open with Josh but the Afc is loaded with some really talented Qb. We need  to get to a Super Bowl and looking at next years schedule along with limited resources this off-season, the hurdle to make that next leap is quite tall. Patience is waning and other teams both AFC and NFC are building talented rosters.

I’ve heard a lot of discussion recently regarding having an offensive mind as a head coach so you don’t risk losing them if they do a good job. Makes sense.

I am a big Mcd fan and appreciative for keeping the team together but it’s a legitimate question if he can take us over the top..and how long do we wait.? .

I can only wonder what the thinking is at OBD for this season.

They may chalk the past season up to all the injuries and expect his D to revert back to a dominant form with what we hope is a healthy Von coming back.

Dorsey will be in second year and we did score a  lot of points  but how much of that was Josh willing us to points vs less than inspiring play calling at times?

So I guess where I am at is I just don’t know where we go lol And maybe neither does Beane judging from his end of year conference .

I think they realize that a good number of investments haven’t  panned out. We took a big shot on Von but we probably should have made that move the year prior at the trade deadline..

Its frustrating because I feel less confident going into this season and Josh is going into year 6 now…

Maybe our Super Bowl year will be a year with a little luck and less expectations..

  3. Interesting he was pretty hush about the Pro Bowl when Kyle Brandt asked him if he was going to attend or even head back to California.  Not surprised too see he is already over there and  gearing up to play THE At&T Pebble Pro Am.

From my point of view let it heal over the offseason and I kind of hope he goes back to Jordan Palmer. The year he worked out with him he came back with better footwork and was really moving defenders with his eyes.   This year he didn't work with him and I thought he got a little bit sloppy at times. Also it could very well be attributed to a bad O-Line and having no confidence they would provide him time..

  4. Interesting this topic was brought up as I had a client call me up today who is in his 40's. Told me he suffered his 6th concession (this one taking a soccer ball to the head) and his DR is worried about Brain Swelling. Says it is really affecting him in his day to day activities now. Amazing these guys can just continue to come back banging heads over and over..

  5. Poyer and Hyde have been the rock in the backfield for so long it’s really too bad they couldn’t  accomplish the ultimate goal together.

Kind of wierd that Poyer may have played his last season here without Hyde and next year Hyde is back possibly without Poyer.

Id love to have him back at the right price but can’t break the bank given his age.

  6. I think Back to last week the Bills kept giving us all this line “it’s not how you win but if you win” . I don’t know why this bothered me so much. In my mind like how you play is going to determine  your success of winning this week and going Forward.

Maybe it’s just me but For a team that has a Championship calibre mantra it kinda felt like an excuse for  we can play sloppy mistake filled football and get by with a win. It almost didn’t happen against Miami.

Watching the Bengals interviews they are are a super confident bunch, lots of swagger and they go out and back it up on the field.

Burrow is possibly on his way to a second straight Super Bowl, Mahomes has 2 or possibly his third appearance upcoming and here we are with three straight Exits for Mcd/Allen..

  7. All the talk of compete overhaul on offense just makes me think that we really have wasted the last two years.

Investing first round draft picks  on defense and not seeing the return we had hoped probably has set this team back and I’m not sure to where.

One narrative today was Cinci can get to Josh pretty anytime they wanted and it always looks hard for Buffalo and yet we  can’t even sniff Burrow against a line missing three starters?!  We couldn’t even scheme something new up to take advantage.

The Bengals have surpassed us in talent and coaching and other teams are not far behind. I think we can play with the Chiefs but Reid is always going to be a step ahead of Mcd.

Now Josh gives us a leg up on any team with a Qb not Burrows or Mahomes so if we can give him some weapons and protection maybe we can possibly stay within distance.

I would have Josh get his arm healed and then I would suggest he Go back and work with Jordan Palmer. Like he seriously should consider it. I think his footwork got sloppy this season, I think last year he was really moving defenders with his eyes this year not so much. This past off-season was a heck of a lot different than the prior offseason where we saw a huge jump.

He had Many more distractions off the field because of his elite play last playoffs. He earned the right to take a break but doesn’t hurt to maybe have him take a look.

I’m not really worried about Diggs. He is the ultimate competitior blowing steam who knew another opportunity wasted. Him and Josh will probably be playing call of duty a week from now.  I would be interested in knowing how the team really feels about this staff.

  8. I’m honestly kind of tired  of our defensive scheme and I wonder if Mcd would hand the reigns over to someone who would bring in a different point  of view? Or is he hell bent on sticking with his scheme and if so then I dunno.. the last 3 playoffs have been kinda disastrous for the D.

The Bengals coordinator is getting a lot of praise for all his different looks he calls. He has had pretty good success against Mahomes and now us.
