  1. It is a tall order.

There is some stat that says when you Blitz Brady - his TD to Interception Ratio is crazy good (was around 70 - 1 when we played him earlier in the season).

However I agree the pressure up the middle will be Key.

The other tactic is to make the D look Vanilla prior to doing that - the more he reads what D we have the quicker he can find the soft spot.

Frazier has to work up some schemes that are more dangerous than they look....

  2. Quote

I voted for Kyle Williams even though I would love to see him keep playing because of his Leadership and tough play.

What would hurt is if he decided to play elsewhere - like Thurman Thomas did playing for the Dolphins (I thought that was a sure sign of the Apocalypse ;) ) but once Kyle hangs his cleats, like Phil Hanson - I don't think he'll suit up for anyone else - unlike the others on the list that I could see looking to be playing on....

  3. Alright RBF of TBD!! A little bounce back in my step around Greece...

Beating the Chiefs was a huge win that many national talking heads didn't see coming - we really needed that and it helps our 1st round draft pick from them, too!

  4. This week - the KC play-by-play guys were on John Murphy Show and they said Ragland  has an explosive side to him that has been getting better.

They also said the obvious -  that their Defensive scheme, same as Rex Ryan's, is what makes Ragland more valuable to them than the Bills.

Truthfully I was excited when we drafted him and he had looked good when attending Training Camp.

  5. Heard his flight goes straight to New Jersey today to get to the Team so not as much time to learn like Deonte Thompson.

Someone on radio commented if Benjamin plays Thursday- he may simply run simple routes but the Jets will have to account for him and that should lessen the "stacking of the box" to open up the Run game.

  6. I think the loss stings because it was so close and if we won - we'd be talking less about rebuilding and more about fine tuning - okay maybe not that far forward but it would have been a great road win.

But do agree it can still be a good season to root for the Bills and will be at the game this weekend with my son and hope it is as much fun as the opener was -supposed to be just as warm if not warmer.

  7. Thank You Go Bills in Dallas for doing this!

and Love the thought provoking quotes you have listed under your posts.

Reminds me of a good one from a Business Acumen 20/20 book: "Attitude Determines Altitude" let's hope our Team has the right attitude this season.

    Go Bills!

  8. Good story man, thanks for sharing

Tasker was on the John Murphy show this afternoon and shared one of his favorite Joe Kelly stories and it was at the last Wrestling event at the Aud and there was a work in play where "The Nasty Boys" were taunting Jim and calling him a loser and saying Buffalo was a city of losers and Jim's Dad didn't realize it was all a work and Jim was in on it and he started yelling back at them and he wanted to climb in the ring himself and some of Jim's brothers had to hold him back. I got some chuckles from the story. That's the beautiful thing about life all the fun memories we make as we go along live on forever

    RIP Joe Kelly

I heard that story as well by Tasker and I laughed too. Tasker also told of the time he saw Joe had the RV all packed to go to Jim's Hunting Camp and how happy and proud the Dad was to be spending time with his sons. Sounds like a great Dad and sure he will be missed by al that came to know and love him.

    RIP

  9. Initially Murphy said he was shocked and didn't see it coming.

A caller said Boldin probably quit before the Bills cut him and Murphy said he didn't think the Bills were going to cut him - they wanted him play and his for leadership.

The only spin I heard (and really not a "spin" was he stated the obvious that other current WR players will get more playing time which may be better for them but he didn't say if it would be better for the team - we will see.

  10. I know I'll be in the minority here but I listen to their show everyday. My favorite is on demand since no commercials - just content - but obviously no calling in that way.

Certainly Murph is paid as his job to be upbeat about the team but he is a fan of the team, like us, and on air he was as shocked as we were with the Sammy trade.

DJ doesn't rock the boat as much and has some interesting perspectives being a former player.

As another poster said - everyday we are looking for info on our team and that show, and its guests, provide a 3 hour play every weekday.

As for the spin - he will probably say he "was looking forward to seeing Boldin but if he doesn't want to be here - then why would you want him to stay".

As for me personally - I wanted Boldin to want to be here - he did seem to be professional and that he would be great for locker room.

Flame away but I might not be back to my favorite website here until later today.
