Hopefully they can keep AJ on the sideline for this one. He needs to be as healthy as he can get for the post season. I don't know what switch has flipped for him, but his athleticism and instincts have improved by leaps and bounds.
Cut Von loose and slide a few of his stacks over AJ's way.

1 pm games are still my favorites for tailgating. Very easy to pace when it comes to booze.

Boomer is actually saying, on live TV, that Mahomes played like crap.

No Way the League lets that stand. It'll be overturned, even though there's no reason.

Honestly... that's the Raiders franchise in a nutshell. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Mahomes is turnover prone.......oh wait, only Josh Allen gets labeled like that.
Two superbowls cover a multitude of football sins in the eyes of sports media.

Ah well. Unfortunately Miami got the lucky bounce they needed to barely beat a winning team.
But everything else broke our way. I'll take it.

Is it possible that DeShaun Watson is an ever bigger lockeroom cancer than we could have thought?
Apart from the fact that the entire human race cheers when his scumbag ass gets obliterated on the field?

Jets and Pats wins are A-OK this week. The division doesn't need more talent outside of the 716.

Win or lose, after every game I check this forum with the thought of, "Wonder what someone's crying about now" and it never fails.
Bills could go win the Super Bowl 56-0. Josh could go 34 of 37 for 512 yards and 6 TDs. Diggs could have 14 receptions for 253 yards and 3 TDs and someone would be on here saying, "They really need to execute on that second and five from the first quarter! Diggs only took 19 steps in his route instead of the correct 21.3 and Josh's ball placement was precisely 0.42 centimeters off. Has to be better!!"
Some of y'all make me wanna run headlong into a brick wall with this dookie.
I try to imagine what this board would have looked like back in the glory days. You can only assume their would be a round of mass suicides every february from 1990 to 1994. Or at least processions of flagellants circling the Ralph.

Sure I can blame it on the Dems. DeSantis was close early-on and then the Dems started charging Trump left and right and he shot up in the polls.
So there was no earthly way DeSantis could have anticipated any of the strategies that have kneecapped his campaign? Not from the Dems, not from Trump, not from anybody?
Is he just a poor little victim of the big bad wolves?

The dark art of gamesmanship is part of being a talented player.
Tom Brady is the biggest whiner, the biggest bitcher, and the biggest cheat who ever played, except for his coach. Nobody's ever going to take his rings or pull the banners down at Gillette. The NFL has said that loud and clear.
If Josh wants to flop in a stiff breeze, go ahead Josh. If he wants to stiffarm Aaron Donald or truck Kyle Van Noy, go ahead Josh.

They completely stopped playing once they were up 14. Comically bad L for the fish.
Completely agree. Vic Fangio's 4 minute defense was incomprehensible and inexcusable.

Today's stat.
That is the first time in 767 NFL games that a team has lost when they were up 14 with sub 4 minutes left. Hasn't happened since 2016.
Congratulations Miami!

This is the Marv Levy Trap.
Marv should have been canned after 1st Dallas SB loss, because he'd lost his third SB in a row, his second SB blowout loss in a row. But he'd done so well...
At this point, McD has shown his hand, like Marv showed his; he's not the guy to get us over the hump.
Don't make the same mistake.

So, the consensus is that the play is unstoppable and if the Eagles are in 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1 you just concede the yard or the TD?
Not even close. The Brotherly Shove is a rugby scrum, repackaged to be NFL legal. The big difference is rugby players can hang onto each other so they can pack more bodies and more force into small spaces.
NFL players are not allowed to "bind", like rugby players are, so the Eagles line their OL up with their shoulderpads almost touching.
It's just that NFL teams refuse to fight it using rugby principles. Instead they trot out angled alignments, or some version of "the lowest blocker wins". And get steamrolled over, and over, and over.
To even start beating it, the DL needs to match mass and alignment with mass and alignment...like two scrums do in Rugby. DL have to play heads up on every OL, or squared up in every gap to even have a chance. Otherwise, you just help create the carpet of downed players for Hurts to slide over.
