You’ll trust Beane, but you aren’t on board with a WR?

I’m no way shape or form with they NOT go RB at some point. I think it will be sooner than most expect. I think that’s been brewing for a year now with the rumors about ettienne last year, the pre draft visits, the attempt at signing McKissic, and mcd’s recent quotes.

I just don't think Beane will go that route at 25 or even trade up for one. I would understand trading up for a CB, but for him to resign Diggs and Davis coming on strong at the end of last year, which will also mean another heavy contract for him later on down the road, I don't think he would pull the trigger this year. But if he does decide to go that route, I won't object

  2. As I have already pointed out, I'm not very draft inclined compared to a lot of you guys. I've seen arguments for everyone's pick. At the end of the day, I'll put my trust in Beane. If we trade up for a corner, I'll be good with that. I'm not very on board with taking a WR given the emergence of Davis and the resigning of Diggs. I also believe McKenzie will fill Beasley's role better than a lot of people think. The man's proven himself, so much so that he's become a Patriot killer. But if we do take a corner at 25, I just hope it won't be taking one for the sake of taking one.

If Breece Hall is the pick, I won't hate it. I'm not on that RBs are a dime a dozen train. Call it what you want, RBs are capable of contributing to wins. Hall could very well fit right in, not just because of his talent, but how much better he could be in a Josh Allen run offense. Not calling it Dorsey's offense because I believe Allen has enough of his signature on it to call it his. I could understand taking a guard as well. All that being said, I'll trust Beane regardless

  3. This guy did a complete 180 on Josh Allen. Guys like Stephen A Smith and Skip Bayless try to avoid talking about Josh Allen. Bayless is butthurt Allen made Mayfield look like a pop warner QB and refuses to acknowledge how much better Allen is compared to Mayfield.  Shortly after Allen made the top 100 players in the NFL, he quickly changed his tune

  4. It's like King pointed out, they'll be trotting out the same defense Josh has shredded for the majority of his career up to this point. They may score a bit more, but even that's not a guarantee. They have improved but Hill isn't gonna make Tua in to Josh Allen. Yes, getting Diggs did help Josh, but alot of Josh's success came from his work ethic and coaching. From this point on, Allen getting better from where he is now is pretty much the rest of the division's nightmare. The Jets have given Josh more trouble defensively compared to Miami

Here’s a great breakdown for you

Thanks for this. Pretty impressive speed for a guy his size. Those that are making the argument that he didn't play against top talent? Josh Allen didn't either and look where he is now. Beane and McDermott ultimately have the final say in this. But I don't see him lasting til 57.

  6. They will be improved compared to previous years. I acknowledge their roster is better this year. That being said, they still have a rookie HC. Despite their acquisitions, he's still gonna have growing pains. As for Tua, nothing he has done up to this point even says he's gonna be the starter. Bridgewater isn't by any means a top tier QB, but with what they have on offense, he could form a chemistry quicker than Tua. None of this is relevant if we get the Josh we saw in the playoffs for the whole season. Josh is so far beyond what the Dolphins trot out as their starter. Neither will be able to keep up with him

I'd just like to put this out here - the Jets seem to have had a problem with their sports medicine/rehab staff the last few years.  They were making visibly bad decisions about injured players during games and attracting controversy.

I think it's possible Crowder is able to stay healthier here.

As for what happens - that depends on both changes to the offense, and how much rappore Crowder builds with Allen.

This is a very accurate statement. The Jets had an O lineman named Osemele (sp) I think his name was where he was forced to play injured before he was traded/cut.

we beat them 61-11 last year he hasn't taken them lightly he feasts on them and pads the stats.

That was last year with Tua and Brissett, no Tyreek Hill and a much worse offensive line. Bridgewater is better than both. Not to mention they have a better backfield than last year. Hoping our d line adds can neutralize that speed

Josh Allen is better than Kirk Cousins and Case Keenum……..Tua is not in the same stratosphere as Mahomes. Dolphins fans need to temper their expectations of this being a Diggs to Buffalo type impact.

Dolphin fans thought the gap was closing after the Armstead signing, I imagine they're talking about taking the division now with Hill
