So lets put us in Giants shoes and look at what they have.

    1. They have an ageing QB but he has been given 2 more years.

    2. Top end RB's are nice but will this RB be top end is hard to tell and the next tier is pretty good.

    3. I am guessing they are getting trade offers from more then just the Bills.

    4. They also have issues on there offensive line!

so what do you do if you were them?

Well I will tell you what I would do..

One minute left on the clock on second pick in round one.. Giants choose to trade with Buffalo and bleed

us with every pick Giants can get out of us then hit there Defense hard  in the draft while getting a project QB Like Lamar Jackson early round 2.

In short.. If there smart? they don't make that trade till draft. There is no point in it.. there is no... Profit in it :D

    Thus

    Tighten up your whitey tighties

    loosen up them boxers

Let the wind go through your hair. cause nothing is going to happen for at least another 35D 11H or so

I'm a first year GM too, I'm picking Rosen or Darnold no doubt about it.  This could end up working out they way Green Bay did with Farve to Rogers.

Pick the QB let him sit and develop

And if a player is involved will it ruin Christmas for you?

after today's moving of JPP your idea certainly seems more likely.  However, I've heard the NYG are really interested in Chubb from NCS and a cost controlled DE makes sense.  However, I'm willing to hope that a Hughes + picks deal can be struct.  Not holding my breath but I'll cross my fingers.

B.O. said during the first debates that he would reach out to NK, Iran, Syria, et al WITHOUT PRECONDITIONS. That was roundly criticized by both sides.

Trump has accepted an invitation to meet with KJI because they've agreed to nuclear disarmament.

What's also apparently on the table is the legal end to the Korean War (we're still just in a truce of that war), and potentially the reunification of some sort of the entire peninsula.

If you can't see the difference in the two positions of our Presidents former and current, then I don't know what else to tell you.

So you are telling me Fox is fair and balanced but CNN is biased?

Wow, Fox couldn't have been any more biased against Obama but do a HORRIBLE job or being impartial.

  4. personally, I think this will not happen until draft day and the Giants know where or not Cleveland takes their guy. If they really love Darnold and the Browns take him maybe they move the pick.  If the Browns go in a different direction, the NYG say, we can't pass on our guy.  Maybe the Giant say listen we want x, y or z and we can't get them at #12, you have to move up or we will do what we must.  It's gonna be 5 more weeks of speculation.

Been saying it in a a few different threads and people have said I was crazy.

I said 12, 22, 53, 65 and a next years second and one guy here said BB would lose the fan base if he did that.

    Heck that seems cheap now.

I'd do just about whatever.  I'd try to not deal next years 1st as it will likely be a decent pick.  Adding two years worth of 2nd's is reasonable if you give mean some lower round stuff back.

    12, 22, 53, 65, 2019 & 2020 2nd's for #2, plus a 5th and 2019 4th. I want to raft the QB. right or wrong, I'm standing behind the decision to take a shot!

So you can't comprehend involving a player in a trade up to the first pick? Really? Also I guess civility and how to discuss without insult wasn't taught at your school.

How much you wanna bet if we trade up there's no players involved?  You can pick the odds.

    what the ?%@&?

That was one strange story.  Someone was on something, but what's you doing naked?  And whatever it was, I can think of other things I'd being doing as a wealthy young, NFL player.

TT would have been a good bridge. I think it may be possible that Clev goes Barkley and trades down for Jackson.

I SERIOUSLY doubt Cleveland is trading down to pick Jackson.  They can pick any QB they like, TT skillset has NOTHING to do with their decision.  The tarded for TT because he is a professional and will show whomever what that means.  He's a great teammate and responsible on the field which will prevent throwing the #1 pick to the wolves.

I'll lay significant odds Cleveland doesn't trade the top overall pick or pick a non QB.

If AZ planned on drafting a first round QB they would not have signed 2 FA QBs IMO.

Really the Cardinals signed Sam on always broken Bradford and Mike Glennon!  If that doesn't scream want to draft a QB is at all possible then you'all know something I don't.

What's the over/under on Bradford starts?  5 1/2?  Glennon, come on, if possible they'd move to ten to grab a guy falling.

Gosh you're right. Cap space is set in Carbonite and can't be changed whatsoever. Maybe your absolutes are useless.

and so does this idiotic trade idea.

When does a top pick, find me an example, where a player was involved?

Greg Gabriel has his QBs ranked:

    1st Round

    1.  Mayfield.

    2.  Darnold.

    3.  Rosen.

    4.  Rudolph.

    2nd Round

    5.  Jackson.

    3rd Round

    6.  Lauletta.

    7.  Allen.

    8.  Falk.

If this clown has Allen as a 3rd round pick BUT Rudolph as a first round pick, he is completely clueless.  Rudolph is a system player that uses one read only.  Had he also included Mason as a 3rd round pick, then maybe his assessment would be more accurate.

Lol they are literally making up stuff now.

U can tell they are in panic mode after the legislation repubs just passed

next you are going to say that Fox News is great reporting.

I just watched a comparison segment where they literally based Obama for even trying to reach out to North Korea but called Trump a genius after possible future talks were announced.  That's called hypocrisy!  If you are going to call out CNN on one end, please call out Fox on the other because they apparently balance each other out.

And how do you explain Jim Kelly making it to # 14 and Dan Marino to #27?

It’s called 1983, night as well been 1493, the scouting was terrible.

Agreed...Bills in my opinion will stay put at 12 and will still have at least 2 of the top 5 QBs to choose from, and one of them could easily be the top QB on their board as all 5 are closely graded and will differ in ranking from team to team.  And even 3 of the top 5 might still be on the board.

Only 2 QB's are going top 5...so once the others are dropping down, Bills could make a cheaper move to 7, 8, 9, or 10 to get ahead of the next threat (Dolphins) to grab a guy they might covet too.

Personally, I do not believe we will trade up, nor should we, and let the draft come to them.

I can’t see Arizona staying behind Buffalo if we stay at 12! They need a QB for future too and I could see them moving up to 10.

I couldn't help to think about the 2012 draft.  Washington traded from the 6th slot to 2 and drafted RGIII.

In short:  Redskins get: 2nd-overall pick (2012)
    Rams get: 2nd-overall pick (2014), 6th-overall pick (2012), 22nd-overall pick (2013), 39th-overall pick (2012)

Hindsight tells us that the Skins should of kept all those picks.  In 2012 the Skins also drafted Kirk Cousins 102 overall.  They didn't even need RGIII

    Lessons learned

RG3 was the rookie of the year, an injury and poor coaching ruined his career!

If we wanted to trade with the Browns for the 1st pick in the draft do you think they'd accept this offer?

    Bills gets:

    2018 Browns 1st overall pick

    2018 Browns 4th round (101)

    Cleveland gets:

    2018

    Bills 1st round (12 overall)

    Bills 1st round (22nd overall)

    Bills 2nd rounder (53rd)

    Bills 3rd rounder (65th)

    2019

    Bills 1st round pick

Would that be enough to get it done?

The Browns simply can not put off the decision on QB any longer. I wouldn’t even field calls on the top pick. I don’t even know if the Giants would take that offer but I’d try with them.

Trade 12 for second round er and next years first from a team you think will be near bottom in league.   Grab your QB next year with the pick ya got from the team ya think will be bad

really put it off yet another year.  Come one, we've done that for nearly 20 years!

Do what Phily did, bite the bullet and go get your guy.  We can suck for one year but try to not give away next years first in the deal.

  17. The Giants ONLY have 5 picks this year.  If the Bills offer both #1's, a #2, a #3 (65), plus a 2nd next year and maybe swapping a 4th for a 6th, this could be very temping.  Plus you could also do more next year.

    Trade 12, 21, 53, 65, 2nd, and 3rd next year for #2, a 6th this year and a 4th next year.

we trade 4 picks for 2 this year and 2 for 1 next year.

Giants get 6 picks for 3.  Eli gets help this year!
