New one that I did. Love how this draft would look. Traded back a few times for extra picks and then traded back into the 1st for Metcalf. Had to give up a 1st rounder next year but only had to give up that and a 7th rounder. Felt like that was a steal so I pulled the trigger. I could have had my choice at any RB here and normally I’d go with Sanders or Henderson but I went a different route on this one. To get Ferguson and Baker into the 2nd was huge and will be instant game changers. I missed out on Irv Smith ur picked multiple TEs that have some upside.

If Harry was there at 8 in the 2nd I would have taken him there but figured I’d end up with Butler or Harmon later in the first and that’s what happened. Simmons was just about the only early round DT left on the board there. I screwed up and took Oruwariye at 13 in the 2nd then saw that Baker was still there. I didn’t want to go with 2 DBs but couldn’t pass Baker up in the mid 2nd round.
With RB I first thought about Sanders, but the speed of Henderson was too much to pass up, but decided to go with Sanders as well. He was the best player on the board there. Then come the 4th round and Holyfield was still around I thought... screw it, we can try and trade Shady for some kind of pick next year. Some RB in camp somewhere is bound to get hurt and would pay a premium for someone like Shady. And we get the 3 RBs that lead this teams backfield for years to come.
Huggins and Bryant round out the DL for depth with potential. And we have our long term backup QB with Jackson.
Your score is: 30804 (GRADE: A-)
Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 25 (PHI): TJ Hockenson, TE, Iowa (A)
Round 2 Pick 8: Jeffery Simmons, DT, Miss. State (A)
Round 2 Pick 10 (CINN): Hakeem Butler, WR, Iowa St. (A-)
Round 2 Pick 13 (ATL): Amani Oruwariye, CB, Penn St. (B+)
Round 2 Pick 15 (CAR): Deandre Baker, CB, Georgia (A-)
Round 2 Pick 20 (PITT): Charles Omenihu, DE, Texas (A-)
Round 3 Pick 4 (NYJ): Darrell Henderson, RB, Memphis (A)
Round 3 Pick 10: Miles Sanders, RB, Penn St. (B+)
Round 3 Pick 29 (NYJ): Bobby Evans, OT, Oklahoma (A)
Round 4 Pick 3 (NYJ): Elijah Holyfield, RB, Georgia (A)
Round 4 Pick 10: Austin Bryant, DE, Clemson (A)
Round 4 Pick 29: Max Scharping, OT, N. Illinois (A+)
Round 5 Pick 9: David Long Jr, ILB/OLB, West Virginia (A)
Round 5 Pick 20: Tyree Jackson, QB, Buffalo (A+)
Round 6 Pick 8: Albert Huggins, DT, Clemson (A+)
Round 7 Pick 11: Darius West, FS, Kentucky (A+)
Round 7 Pick 14: Preston Williams, WR, Colorado St. (A+)First pick is fun but in reality you’d never end up with 15/16 picks in any one draft. You’d simply be wasting picks. After 10/12 you’d be trading to get picks in future drafts but on this platform you can only acquire the teams firsts. Plus you score better with more picks but it’s just not realistic.

Wow, I’ve seen several mocks where DK isn’t even a first round pick. This would be a massive reach in my opinion. No way he’s a top 10 pick. Trade back if this is the guy you want.

TRADE - someone has to want one of the 2 QB - hello Washington?
Miami are you calling?
Cincinnati?

If it’s all about Allen, take Taylor then a TE later.
How many OL are we lining up every game?

Wow, plenty of arguments made for one player.
Id have no issues with the pick but it is a deep draft for TE.

I got it! Build a new stadium with ALL the seats in the end zones and each sideline can be build straight up with luxury suites and theater seating. It would be cheaper because the stadium footprint would be small and seriously ugly but new! ?
seriously, the billionaire can do whatever they like but no dome

Better, Josh Allen is drafted by the Jets or Dolphins and spends his career trying to sack Josh Allen. And that’s far more likely.

Why would we trade back? Wouldn't these signings more likely suggest a trade up?
Why is the world go we want to trade up again and give away more picks?
10 picks creates flexibility but create more competition at key positions.

The Bills will not pick it up. It’s a price it year, if he plays well they franchise tag him. This management doesn’t like to give things to players they want them to earn it.

Sept. 24, 1978 my dad took me to see the Bills beat the Baltimore Colts 24-10. Curtis Brown returned a kickoff for a TD 104 yards.
Ok im old and was wrong it was 24-17 and the kickoff was 102 yards.

March 16! Why is this a story at any level?

#1 is Leveon Bell? That's silly.
Lost all credibility with Bell at #1. You don’t screw up the great cap position with this move.

We have a quarterback folks. Sure the Jets are the worst team in the NFL right now but Barkley throws the ball down the field and is light years ahead of Allen.
Barkley
Allen
Thomas (Emergency)
No need for Anderson or Peterman.
Dumbest take ever. The goal is to develop Allen. That’s it!

Both players have huge contracts (only for one year) but at his stage, does it matter.

Trade down 10 spots and pick up a bunch of picks and take Marquise Brown from Oklahoma. This guy will be the next OBJ.
This is likely a draft where trading down will be difficult. If there are not any QB's, most smart teams don't want to pay a heavy price.
-
Do they have any young WR or OG they’d be willing to move with a 4th or 5th.
This team needs skills and some OL. If you can a piece take it.

Kay, Hank, not coaches I want to remember.
However, 2-14 seems likely this year.
-
Well, we don't have an offensive line, especially up the middle, so leaning on the running game seems highly unlikely and to make up for that, we have the least skilled WR group in the league. As a result, the offensive game plan should revolve around praying. Pray Allen doesn't become gun shy and or hurt seriously, as the way this offense was built was criminal. Not sure Bean and McDermotte truly understand the NFL of 2018. Think they are confused and think its still 2011. The draft should have been, offense, offense, offense and more offense.

I thought they fired him late in the year after a disastrous game in Tampa.
Didn't Marv coach like the last 5 games of that season, or was that Hank?

Gambling junkies will justify anything.
cheers buddy, have no dog in the fight so I don't care if you win or lose, I just want the Bills to play solid football. hard to do if you lose by 17.

1. stop trading up in draft
2. draft offensive linemen
3. try signing an UFA of value, not other teams left overs.
This season - heck, maybe look at CHL for a player.

This off season, we made all the wrong moves. Murphy appears to be one of those.

This is what $50 million in dead cap space gets you! Total crap. Oline is awful, Middle gets pushed in the face of QB, he has no place to step up, edge rushers can just feest!
