24-3! Keep it up Ole Miss. The announcers are beyond Pro Alabama.
He really wanted that defensive TD called back, lol
-
Who's saying it will change? What do you mean by "change?"
Serious questions.
I heard basically the opposite in the player interviews. The change will be in play-calling/packages and game planning.

Sorry man, disagree with almost everything you say here, or disagree with the comparisons. Jerry Hughes is/has been Justin Houston, no one would argue he is JJ Watt. Clay is tough to judge given the performance of our OC and QB. Watkins, same thing (although the injuries are getting annoying, but not sure any GM could predict that).
But now you're nit-picking individual players and comparing them to the absolute best at their position. No team has GREAT players at every position. But we do have plenty of strong players. As many as most other teams.
Exactly.
There's so much parity in the league. Great teams are separated by coaching and QB play.
The Bills have acquired great talent the past few years, but still fall short in those two areas.
-
This is ... kind of stunning. You think that this roster is roughly on par with:
-NE
-CIN
-DEN
-KC
-GB
-SEA
-PIT
??? So the reason we're not in the playoffs every year is that both the Marrone regime and now the Rex regime are inept, and it has little to do with player personnel?
The thing most of those teams have is a franchise QB. That's the big difference.
-
Ok...talent doesn't seem to be the issue.
If you want to blame Whaley for not hiring a good coach, then be my guest.
Its unfortunate that the Bills couldn't maintain a consistent staff. They barely lasted a year. Its pathetic. Around and around we go.

Or he's just always been right
Wow
Sully just writes opinion pieces. Sometimes he's right and sometimes he's wrong. Just like everyone else here.
Real Debbie Downer, though. I'd rather read real news or something uplifting.
-
Who knows, the Bills have 9 days to prepare for the Cards, who travel east and their record reflects they have issues traveling east.
This is true. We get Arizona under favorable circumstances, so I was hopeful for the Bills to win this game.
But now that the offense could be in disarray, I don't have much hope. I guess I'll just be enjoying the games for what they are. No high expectations.
-
Are they changing offensive philosophy, then? I doubt that anyone else is more qualified than Roman to run a power run scheme.
That said, I'm not against them spreading it out more. Let Tyrod sling it a bit and earn that paycheck. Create more space for Tyrod and McCoy to run.
Weird move.

they are just now starting?
Like stage fright

Damn I can't unless someone uploads it. HTC M8 does not allow video on twitter.
Its just him acting like he lost his car keys, so he can't drive to the game. Then he calls Rex, who hangs up on him. Then he grabs his bike and says he'll get to the game by halftime.

Ok I dont know if it's a good sign or bad sign but hootie just came on my pandora channel. Same song.... well kind of.
Probably a bad sign. I'm starting to get bad vibes from this matchup....
-
@$#! Sammy needs to play. At least, go be a decoy...
-
I regrettably share your blind optimism
It's a great feeling, isn't it?
-
So pumped for the game. I don't care what happened Sunday.
Any given Thursday!
-
It is the pro football hall of fame - so I guess it depends on how they feel about his CFL numbers. Nearly 59,000 yds is pretty impressive.
dayummm...

He is the man I'd have hired here. If the Browns stay the course (it might take 4 years given this is a tank year) he will take them to the post-season.
EDIT: he is the man our GM wanted to hire too.
Good OC. Maybe not a good HC. We have the defensive version of that, but...defense wins championships, amirite?
-
I just heard Woody Paige on around the Horn say that it will be between the Bills and the Browns for the worst team in the NFL. I just don't honestly see us being that bad. 8-8? Maybe, but it is more likely that we will be middle of the pack again not at the very bottom.
Maybe we're just blinded by fandom, but there were much worse teams last year than the Bills. They only lost Mario...
Hopefully, everyone is just overreacting after a bad showing by a rusty offense.
-
There's at least a false advertising claim here, right?
-
I saw that and thought - WR screen worked? They must see this on film, right? They know how good Sammy is at these, right? Will they do it?
Also means the Jets make corrections for it, right?
So, we'll have to see how it plays out Sunday. It's not like "do this and you're guaranteed success."
Let's keep an eye on it early on.
-
I think the big problem, here, is that Rex is - again - making headlines for something other than leading this team to wins - which is what he's being paid to do.
He's a big personality, so he's going to make unrelated headlines, whether he's winning or losing. Made them when he was going to the playoffs with the Jets.
Nothing's changed in that regard.
Of course, we'd rather he be winning.
-
So...screens and post routes?
Go get 'em, Tyrod!
-
This mornin', I woke up alone...
Found a forum post on my phone...
Sayin' "Baby, Rex got the lap band off today..."
So, just let him try....
No matter what happens on game day...
Let him eat...
If it eases all his pain...
Let him go...
May he win us a few games
And if the sun comes up tomorrow...
Let him be.
-
I don't see this as a big deal. Kind of funny, but whatever.
-
It must suck to lose to the coach you ran out of town.
The Bills are a much better team than the Jets when they're in their groove. Hopefully, they find it this week.
This Is What a Good GM Looks Like - Elway vs. Whaley

No idea, but Whaley took credit for being part of the hiring process when it happened. Take that for what it's worth.
It wouldn't surprise me if Whaley wanted someone else, initially, but was persuaded by the Pegulas and Russ to get behind Rex.
Not really worth speculating on.
