  1. In PA Online sports betting is now legal.  You can bet continuously on the game during the game. There are bets for each drive result. The moneyline and spreads update through out.  These game time wagers are quite a bit of fun.  It even makes a titans-jags game exciting.   I imagine that this point its a small group of people who do this.  But if you enjoy this sort of thing, you can follow 5 games at a time at home, while watching the Bills and rooting or betting on them.   This may not hurt the live attendance, but it wont help.

Brady is not allowed to age and not allowed to be hit in any manner. We all want him gone. But this year we need to defy the refs and the NFL and deliver the knockout blow to finish him for good.

Getting rid of Brady would be like superman getting rid of Lex Luther or Batman getting rid of the Joker.  Just wouldn't be the same.  The villain must remain and be defeated.

I recall the Winston/Mariotta draft.  Was back in the BBMB days.  Folks there talked about them each being can’t miss; one guy in particular would have traded an entire draft for Winston.  And look what we have now.

didn't do much better with our entire draft though.

Anyone have the pre-game show on?

It is absolutely down pouring in Nashville right now!

    Couldn't be raining harder.

Since the game is in Jacksonvillle, I am not sure how important the Nashville weather is. Its always sunny in Philadelphia.

Will be interesting to see  valuations after the next round of TV contracts are finalized with various media.  Teams are receiving north of 250M per season as their share of the current contracts.

I dont think the expectation is for a big run up in tv prices.  The NFL demographic is aging rapidly. Ratings are fairly flat overall. Ratings are down in the younger demographics compared to 5 or 10 years ago. None of these supports a huge price increase in tv payments (maybe this is trumped by Amazon and Netflix trying to expand by having a bigger NFL slice)

I suspect the speculative dream right now is international franchising.  Each of the 32 owners is excited get their share of the 2+ billion dollar franchise fee each for London, Berlin,  Madrid,  Rome, Tokyo and Beijing someday.   Followed by a surge in media values.   I am not sure it happens, but I think that is viewed as a big upside for the NFL, and one reason a couple teams have to schlep over to London and down to Mexico City every year.

I thought the forearm he gave was to a LB or  DL

I get it...he is a HUGE QB....its just in his position he is not conditioned to take a vicious hit on every play like these defenders are.....there are rules to protect QBs in the NFL because that is the money position...Josh should take advantage of that we need him all season.

Lorenzo Carter 255.   6% bigger than Josh.  If they were boxers both would be heavyweights.   A fair fight. I understand your concern. unless the play is a designed run, it might make sense to tell him "always always always just throw it away" rather than run.   But in the event he is on the move, I am not sure I would coach too hard against his instincts.

Yeah I really dont want to see too much of that.....I mean once in a while he is compeative....start doing that a lot these guys outweight him by 30 plus pounds.....

at 240, most LBs and very few safeties (if any) and no corners outweigh him by 30 pounds.

I hold my breath every time Allen has contact.  But I think he is more likely to get hurt if he starts doing a lot of things against his instincts. He is just so much fun to watch play.

There is a lot of young Ben R. in Josh Allen

Young Ben is the outdated version 1.0 bad bad QB.  Josh "Jerome Bettis" Allen is the much improved version 2.0 bad bad QB.

Yup. Tough call. But Gore's was surely angrier.

but he is a running back. they are supposed to run angry.  QB are supposed to run scared.

It is a bit. But not enough. Ramsey is a top 3 CB. You think you are getting him for nothing.

Rumors are already has two offers both include One 1st.

Gonna take the First to get a conversation and gonna cost more to make the trade happen

I am not arguing. I don't know what it takes. Can you give examples of recent trades other than Khalil Mack where someone gave up a first, and then gave a full market value FA contract to the person targeted? Do you think Ramsey is more valuable than Clowney? (Maybe he is, I don't know, feels like Clowney is the closest comp though)

  10. I don;t think Ramsey helps you beat Mahomes or Brady.   Ramsey if very good at what he does.  But I don't think he is a difference maker to beating those guys.

Minkah Fitzpatrick gets a First. And you think Levi Wallace, Zay Jones and a 2nd round pick is gonna get you an Elite CB. Ha ha ha ha

    M. Fitzpatrick in in year 2 of a rookie contract.   That makes a huge difference.
