  1. So let me start this off by saying I know my sample is a small cross section of Packers fans, but yesterday at the Ralph I endured some of the rudest most obnoxious fans I've ever had sitting in my section (and that includes games against the *pats). The one woman behind me kept screaming and screeching like she was being assaulted and was swearing like a drunken sailor. Then the guy next to her made comments about my wife being wrapped in a blanket and that " people like her need a drink thrown on her". My wife is a huge Bills fan but she was cold and wrapped up, and then to top it off when Duke Williams got hurt, the two idiots start cheering and clapping, and making comments like oh get him a pacifier, what a baby, what a weak @ss p@#$! and oh he just doesn't want to face Rodgers anymore. I guess I always thought being a smaller market team similiar to the Bills that the fans would have a little more class and respect, but these people I encountered were out of control.

I get it, it's football so we can save those comments, and we can hold our own with swearing and yelling, but yesterday was just ridiculously bad.

Buffalo and Green Bay have much in common...snow, cold, alcohol, an uneducated populace, and economic woes....not surprised but in both towns it's the minority that stands out as idiots and there are idiots everywhere the NFL or any major sport team plays..

  2. Kyle Orton is like Domino's Pizza- you don't have it for a while then you think, "That sounds good!" You order it, eat a few pieces and say to yourself, "This sucks. The crust has no taste and the garlic is overwhelming!" You then don't order it for a couple years. At this point I'd rather get a cheap pizza from Little Caesar's (Manuel) 'cause I've had enough of this garlic-riddled Domino's crap.

Id rather have a 4 dollar frozen from Wegmans (tuel)

    taste good if your stoned

  3. The real question is why not Gibran Hamdan?

He is probably just as good as Jeff Tuel AND since he spent part of his childhood in Kuwait he could expand the fanbase of the Bills! Not to mention he was possibly the best dressed QB the Bills have ever had.

Where is he? Working at McDonalds? He 's a Muslim..Gays may be welcome but no Muslims in the NFL!

haven't we already seen him play? it wasn't pretty. Why give him another shot , but not EJ?

Not trying to be a wise guy, but what would make you think he would be a good number 2? Not playing well as a starter? If he doesn't play well, would anyone say- let's keep him as a backup? I think we should worry about finding a starter, then work on a backup.

I have no idea whether he'll eventually be a number 2 in this league but why not see if he can play or cut him loose.

Obviously if the management stays we will have to endure another year or two of EJ so they can try and save face.

  4.

Sure hope this repairs OJ's Image...The NFL is getting serious about domestic violence..He may never play again

Yeah, and there were no riots or calls for Justice when he was found "innocent." Just sayin!

Wow if you don't see the difference between those events..better flip on Fox News, drink beer into oblivion.. or perhaps you are already there.

For all the African American males who were killed of just looking at a white woman, OJ moved the needle back toward the middle.

Always hoped to see a remake of the Longest Yard with OJ.

been driving Broncos and running through airports ever since....

But everything did get blamed on 'racist cops' so some things never change!

Yikes you guys realize that The NFL is predominately African American, right?

Everybody's a racist just need to keep it in check for the good of humankind

OJ and Jerry Sandusky walk into a bar and.....

  5. Over 16 games the Bills will play a top 13 defense 12 times.

    #2 - Detroit

    #4 - Denver

    #6 - Miami (2x)

    #7 - NY Jets (2x)

    #8 - Kansas City

    #9 - San Diego

    #11-Minnesota

    #12-New England (2x)

    #13-Oakland

The only "weak" defenses we will see are..

    #18-Cleveland

#24-Houston (odd considering they have Watt & Clowney)

    #25-Green Bay

    #28-Chicago

So this is one possible reason (excuse?) for our rough offensive output.

Your point..to be and win in the playoffs the big boys put on their big boy panties

  6. Glad you are looking past one of the most important and exciting Bills games in many years. You do know that they are 4-4 on the road, they have a weak run defense, and our defense is actually really good? It will be a very tough game for us, but as definitely not to be looked past.

Oh well, I will still humor your original post.

The reason you don't start Tuel is that he is not as good as EJ and Orton. If we are eliminated from the playoff chase, which could happen Sunday, but is unlikely (because even with a loss we still could have some 9-7 hypotheticals, and you don't quit when you are alive), we can play our final two games focused on developing and evaluating. I still think getting our 8th win is really important, and trying for our 9th after that is really important.

Tuel can get some late game playing time, but has no reason to start. EJ is the wild card. I think this game is crucial for Orton. If he loses it AND struggles, I think there is a strong case that EJ is just as good to help us win the next game, and it also gives the front office a chance to see if EJ has improved on decision making and accuracy during his benching. They probably have a really good idea from practice reps on his progress, and if Tuel has come close to either of the other two.

And then you mentioned the draft ladder. You know we don't have a first round pick next year, and moving from #48 to #46 isn't really worth sandbagging and not doing everything you can to avoid another losing season right?

    well said!

  7. I thought Tuel looked great in the game against KC. He made one rookie mistake, otherwise he did pretty well. I liked that he would at least take some shots downfield as opposed to EJ. He actually completed some nice passes and throws a nice ball.

I agree ..it would be refreshing to see some one out there with some enthusiasm and unafraid to make a mistake..I don't see him sliding to a 4th down or throwing passes consistently behind the receivers..let em play!

  8. After Rogers surgically annihilates the Bills or more specifically the Bills Offense does, I propose starting Tuel..we know what EJ and Orton bring. I'm not suggesting Tuel will ever be a playoff bound starter but is he even worth the time and effort to keep around as a number 2?...lets find out.

We have nothing to lose and can gain a few spots up the draft ladder.
