If I read one more "disclaimer" by the beat writers and analysts that as Bills fans we need to "pump the brakes", "they don't have pads on", "its only May", we must "temper expectations", "OTA's are meaningless" I am going to explode! Most of us have many, many, many, more years of following football and particularly the Bills that these same beat writers (you know who they are) and analysts. We know the story. I really appreciate reporting what they see and even their commentary on how player's are fitting into the culture and lineups. Too many of them (actually all of them) in order avoid criticism feel the need to step on the pulpit and spread the "pump the brakes" rhetoric as though their readers are neophytes or dummies that need preached too. Please, just report what you see, comment on your thoughts, but layoff the preachy condescending rhetoric. If I hear good things by multiple writers I want to feel good about the team. I don't need told to "temper" my enthusiasm until they say its ok. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

Pay no attention to them. I remember when we were going to Super bowls. We were everybody's favorite team to put down even then. The world is full of haters.

All you have to do is say "No, I'm incapable of a simple, basic, humane thought."

    That's all you gotta say.

Or maybe try to sound more like Mark Kelso. But wishing him to leave a game Shazier style?

    Grow up.

My reaction was the same as Mark Kelso's. I would like to thank Mark for speaking out.

As it's already been brought up, my initial aversion to dumping KB was the comp pick formula.  However, you only get picks if you're a net loss in players.  Considering that we've got piles of cap space & likely won't be losing any expensive FAs (I don't think retirements count & I can virtually guarantee K Williams isn't signing elsewhere & Alexander I'd say is low probability, too), I don't think it's likely that we're aiming/likely to acquire comp picks.

I don't think getting rid of Kelvin would be considered a loss of a player.

Someone needs to create a Buffalo Bills B*tch Board, slogan "B*tching about the Bills 24-7 because we've been miserable human beings since conception." It's honestly where a lot of you belong. Seriously though, our rookie is getting better. And despite his mistakes he is carrying this offense.

Without Allen we don't have an offense. He is carrying them on his back.

Great team win and Allen made some huge throws and ran for over 100yards,  end of the day i do not want my franchise QB focused on running the football.  For Allen to become a great franchise QB he needs to throw the ball and more plays to need to be called to throw the ball and not run.  This is a passing league, and ground and pound is for losers  the great teams pass for 300yards on weekly basis and we struggle to make it to 200 yards. Yes the receivers suck but we need to stay committed to becoming a pass first team.  Even finishing this season focused on passing the ball and establishing ourselves as a pass first team will help signing potential free agent WR'S.

    Some people are never happy.

the important thing is he sees the right things and identifies the right things to do with the football.   He's going to have an errant pass here and there, i'm not worried about that.   Right now these reps are really helping him develop.   If we win 5 more games I'll be surprised.

Just keep in mind Wentz went 7-9 his rookie season with a 79QB rating and threw more interceptions than touchdowns.   Goff's rookie year he looked like a dumpster fire.

If Allen struggles this year IMO it's just part of the learning curve.

Bills fans won't accept a learning curve. They demand immediate perfection.

The team thats been on the field the last 6 quarters of football shows up in Lambeau, then we can and will beat the Packers.

The D over the last 6 quarters can slow this Packers offense down, especially since the Packers OL isn't very good, the run game is sputtering as usual there, and Rogers isnt 100%.  And the Packer D is just not very good, so good chance for our offense to keep gelling and Allen to keep improving.  By no means am I guaranteeing a win or making some $5k wager on them, but I just really think this is a game this team can win.  We just have so much momentum and energy coming out of this Vikes game that I think this team has a chip on its shoulder and is going to be another surprise odds upset next week.

That's not being a homer. That's being a real fan.

I really hated how negative he was with respect to Josh Allen vs. the Chargers.  I though he nit picked and expected him to make every correct read an d touch passes in his first start.

Compare that to Romo yesterday and one wonders if the roles had been reversed.

What I am finding is with these rookie QB's I'm paying very close attention to how they play and maybe more so how the commentators react.

I also noticed Beuerlein. If a lineman missed a block it was Allen's fault.

That part of NYS tends to be an extension of NYC in its sports fandom. Met Life is closer by an hour and the Giants used to have their training camp in Albany. This map is a bit old, but it gives you an idea of the limited geographical reach of Bills Mafia.

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/matadornetwork.com/read/mapped-where-to-find-fans-of-your-nfl-team-across-the-us/amp/

This map shows me in Giant's country. I own 15 acres of land and never while there is breath in my body will those 15 acres be called anything but Bills country.

I’m not sold. His accuracy was atrocious. While that’s likely to get marginally better, it’s a pipe dream to think it’s going to get where it needs to be.  We can complain about WR talent all we want, but innacurate throws are innacurate throws, regardless of who’s at WR

    Go away. You are annoying.
