  1. WGR's sister Entercom station in Detroit, "The Ticket 97.1", mentioned on the air last week that the Bills were one of the teams supposedly contacted by the Lions. They said Detroit is looking for a 2nd and a 5th. Slay apparently is looking for Top 3 money. He and Patricia don't get along and that may be playing into this as well. The Lions fans are not too enamored by their version of "New England Midwest", i.e. GM Bob Quinn and HC Patricia, and were totally frustrated when both didn't get canned this year.

  2. There is another wild A$# rumor making the rounds on Detroit sports talk radio today (take it for whatever that is worth!) that the Lions are talking to the Bills and others about acquiring CB Darius Slay for a 2nd, 5th and another mid-round pick to be named later. Slay is unhappy in Detroit playing for Patricia. A top notch CB, but his contract is coming to an end and he is looking for "elite" money from the Lions. No way the Bills tie that kind of money up with him and give Tre'Davious White the money he will command/deserve.

True but Bosa is elite and a process guy.  We’re gonna have to overpay for one of the free agent edge rushers who’s not as good as Bosa.  He’s good enough and young enough to consider it.

Don't forget, with Bosa you also get Mama Bosa. Remember the pain she caused the Chargers when they drafted her son. She would drive Beane and McDermott crazy.

  4. Obviously a lot can happen between now and next season, but I could take a wild a$# guess and see the sports books putting the Bills at over/under 9 wins for next season. We still don't have a lot of respect from the national "experts" and the points noted about the tough 2020 schedule are right on. Putting $$ on the over will be tough if this is the case, unlike the past season where the over under was 6 or 7 in most books.

    Won’t work.

Romo and Nantz have wonderful chemistry.  Nantz by the book, academic style clash so perfectly with Romos make it up as you go commentary.

As the “voice” of the MASTERS, Nantz is engrained in the public subconscious as the astute, professional.  Which works in perfect contrast to Romo the “celebrity” playboy.

And no commentary can mAke bad games good.  And MNF games are snooze fests.

And does ESPN get the Super Bowl?  I thought it was just CBS, FOX and NBC.  So Romo would take himself out of the rotation for biggest game of the season.

    Not worth it.

Nance is the astute professional except when he is covering the Cheatriots. Then he is gushing all over Kraft and company and has a man crush on Brady.

was hoping they'd pluck McDaniels and watch NE circle around the drain.

Hopefully Kraft will force Belichick to keep Brady as #1, Belichick gets po'd and retires and McDaniels becomes HC. After watching Jimmy Garappolo win yesterday and knowing Belichick didn't want to trade him it must be doing a slow burn to BB's brain. NE without Belichick and with an aging Brady does not scare me. BB is the driving force there.

If the Pats had lost to us, I think they would have played today with a lot more urgency IMO and likely wouldn’t have lost. They treated last week like a playoff game but this week was lip service. Either way,  I don’t blame Daboll for not beating NE. We got outplayed...again. We need more talent on offense. We need better Red Zone running. We need more consistent QB play. We need the defense to get more turnovers for us. The OC doesn’t execute blocks or run routes.

Agree talent has a lot to do with it. Look at the Packers with our old friend Nate Hackett as their OC!
