  1. Similar to the Dolphins offense nonetheless. Brady's OL usually does their job and he is able to complete the pass while Tannehill's doesn't get that opportunity; last week's game was the most I've ever seen Tannehill improvise out of the pocket and that was against a Jaguars team missing their two starting DL. Again, the Dolphins offense is predicated on short passes. They may attempt a deep pass twice a game but the majority of the plays are curls, crossers, and comebacks.
  2. Tannehill is an offense that wants to get the ball out quick and the use of short passes opens up things down the field. Its sort of like the Eagles and Patriots offense combined. It depends on what you mean by down the field also, we don't call a lot of deep routes because the OL doesn't give Tannehill/WRs enough time for the play to develop or the receiver isn't open. He has completed 7 20+ yard passes so far and missed maybe three others.
  3. Agreed. Buffalo is very underrated and if you guys had a QB it would be an automatic 11 wins. While I like the attention the Dolphins are getting, they have to prove it. I will say this is the first time that I've felt comfortable about majority of the team, the OL will hinder the team's potential though. Just horrible OL play. Hopefully we can get Branden Albert back for the season.
  4. This. I don't know if you guys were paying attention to the Dolphins last year but the entire defense collapsed at the end of the year; they gave up 992 rushing yards and gave up an average of 32 points in their last 6 games. If the pass defense can stay consistent and the run D can catch up, it should be a top defense. Very excited for Tannehill. He's been money the entire off season. Maybe the Harvin that was with Minnesota was better than Stills, but if we're talking about now then its Stills and I don't think anyone would say different. Its rumored that Brees hated him and I have watched Stills in a couple of Saints games.
  5. The opposition fans are so misinformed Type Kenny Britt into Google and see what team pops up. You meant Kenny Stills and if you think Harvin is better than him LOL.
  6. Wake's lack of sacks was because he was injured for most of last year. His struggles against the run are a little bit over-exagerrated imo. He's a pure speed rusher and can more often than not beat you with strength so of course he's going to struggle with defending the run. Another thing is I don't recall too many teams running to his side. Chris Long? I think you mean Robert Quinn. 1. Watt 2. Quinn 3. Wilkerson 4. Hardy 5. Wiliams/Wake Even still, Dave is speaking as if Wake isn't a superstar player.
  7. Don't take everyone's word. Wilfork was getting worked more in the 2nd half but also was blowing up the interior of our OL. Credit to new OL coach John Benton nonetheless.
  8. TBF to McCain, he was the highest rated 4-3 OLB in the preseason and blocked a punt plus sacked Brady in his first ever game. Jenkins provides good coverage but lacks instincts against the run(hence being a backup) or at least that's what we thought, he looked pretty good against the Pats.
