"I think one of my favorite stories from the season, looking back, is how Sam Wyche, the quarterbacks coach in Buffalo, got his guys to relax. Sometimes, not every day, when Wyche sensed his quarterbacks were nodding off and not paying attention, he'd pull out the airline pillows he bought for them (you know the ones that fit snugly around your neck so you can, theoretically, fall asleep sitting up practically anywhere), turn off the lights, have them turn their chairs around to see a large beach-scene picture at the back of the meeting room, and call out, "Power nap time!'' Fifteen minutes later, he'd rouse them and they'd be back to work."

Am I the only one that sees this happening? -Jets losing the rest of the way (NE needs a win, and @ St Louis might be for division or at least playoffs for the Rams) -Balt losing to Pitt (Pitt really wants to knock them out of the playoffs) -Jags winning out (They are on a roll) -Denver losing at least once (They aren't) -Buffalo wins out Buffalo and Jags are in. Anyone? Anyone?

The gift I got today at work ranks right up there. One of the girls that I work with knows someone in Jim Kelly's extended family in the Attica/Alexander area so she hooked me up with an autographed football. I still have a big sh*t-eating grin on my face.

I had more bad experiences with that stuff in college than I care to remember, not that I actually do remember though

No beam and coke for me tonite as my fiance just finished off the coke. Luckily I have some Glenlivet French Oak Finish stashed away. As I sip this I wondered what brand fellow wallers drink to fight off the cold. Always up to try something new so what do you drink?

I get Bills updates sent as text messages to my cell phone from Verizon. The alerts are roster moves, injury reports, and other stuff like when the press conferences are available on buffalobills.com. Jay Rosen and a few others who post here also get these messages, usually Jay is on top of these but he seems to have been busy the last few days.

That's what I thought too, but the message said approx. 5000.

Our office is sending some care packages to the troops overseas. We have some ideas from websites and newspapers but I was wondering if any of the military members on this board had some ideas. Anything that would be hard to get over there or that's really needed, that kind of stuff. Thanks in advance for any ideas.
