In a game where they had ample opportunity to win, where a supposed number 1 receiver choked once again, some are upset by the refs.
The refs are unimportant.
SJ taking another crap on the field is important.
Calls are missed on every snap of the ball. The Bills deserved to lose and they did.
Yeah you know if the refs hadn't missed two calls, Stevie wouldn't have had to fumble because we kneel down.

Game should have been over way before the fumbles.
Agreed. There would have never been a fumble situation because the refs gave the Falcons a free TD minutes prior.

Promo, this is a serious question (I mean no disrespect), so please treat it as such, but are you a plant from One Bills Drive? Only reason I ask is that I'm tired of people complaining that we don't sell out for a perennial loser...the last time we had a winning record this late in the season, Bill Clinton was president.

My question is WHY didn't they double Gonzalez on 3rd downs. Every team that beat the Falcons doubled him on 3rd down. This was just bad coaching Period.

You are afraid of who the Bills draft in 6 months, now? In early November? And then that all 5 of those Qb's will go on to be phenomenally better rookies than EJ has in 5 games?
That is some proactive anxiety. Must be tough to sleep at night....
It wouldn't surprise me if 2 or 3 of those 5 are yes, phenomenally better rookies than EJ. This is a good QB draft class.

A sick and twisted part of me wants to see him tear it up if only to reinforce my own disbelief in the Bill's FO judgement. It's the same sick and twisted part of me that morbidly wishes to see Geno Smith throw the game winning TD to David Nelson. I think I'm just a bad person.

Am I wrong? I mean, surely Hackett has heard of a screen play. But for some reason it is almost as if he has never watched the Chan offense game tape. Does he not understand how to gameplan for two dual threat RBs that benefit from running in space, not to mention a subpar QB who can't sling the ball around to save his life? Seriously, we have run a screen play concept under 10 times this season.

This. I'm mostly concerned with everyone's optimism that EJ will lead us to salvation. Yes he was better than Thad with a lot of room to grow, but what if he doesn't improve? What if he just spins his wheels and we're no better off than we were before? If EJ is not our franchise QB, and we don't draft one in 2014, this will be a long 3 years.
edit: I should note that I'm not trying to be pessimistic, I like EJ and hope he bring it.

Did Martin make this a big deal and drama over nothing??
First of all, how is it nothing? Racial epithets and threats of violence?
Secondly, it's not like Martin was trying to make this a big deal. It seems like he'd been bottling it up, still showing up on sundays, and taking the abuse for some time now. Eventually, enough was enough.
