Also it’s also a smidgen pay grade higher. I remember a few times a team would “promote” a coordinator or specialty coach to assistant head coach to keep them and give them some more money.

As others have touched upon, they have exceeded expectations. Do we want to win? Hellll yes.  But should they lose it won’t be too bad. Losing to one of if not the best team in the nfl ain’t a shame. It’s only when they are in your division and you have two automatic losses a year.

Look. What everyone is saying about the excuses for bad defense and line play and everything...is right.  Josh was drafted for this reason.  You saw when everything is clicking we are unstoppable. But when the defense or lines or special teams has a bad day...Josh is the guy to bail them out.  That’s a good thing to have. Are there things that need work on? Of course. But I don’t see this being a regular occurrence.  It was a bad game.

Sounds like the consensus is he had an off day. Even so, he's such a playmaker at his position I wouldn't consider benching him at any point myself. Case in point him coming up with that forced fumble. Always been a fan.

 

FTR I even thought he played well. IMO. I always get surprised to see posts every few games knocking him. He's so consistent.

People don’t notice unless he makes a mistake. That means he’s usually performing.

Don’t know if anyone remembers or has the song but I remember during the Super Bowl runs my radio station would play the shout song but there was also an MC Hammer spoof called can’t touchdown. It was a pro bills song. Don’t know why that’s a vivid memory for myself.
