It’s good to have excuses. Don’t want the Bills to get demoralized if they lose.

Living in Boston, the local narrative goes like this:
Hey, your quarterback (they don't even know his name) is pretty good! Last year happened because of all the COVID opt outs and it was our first year without Tommy. Now we're back and your Bills are back where they belong. You guys, with all your enthusiasm, are cute.
Of course, if NE sweeps us, there is nothing I can say in response.
I question you being a Rochester Lifer, then.

If he’s wrong, great… 57% isn’t comforting at all.
Ive played with the playoff machine quite a bit and most scenarios seem to have us in.
That percentage is based on the remaining two games after being uncertain.

Don’t look now but the dolphins are a game out and no one is noticing.
But we have the head-to-head against them.

Exactly. They're more desperate to play the games than protect people because Omicron seems to be less severe, though I don't think there's any proof of this at the moment either way.
There's not "proof," but there is some evidence showing it is more mild.

Best point differential is about as meaningful as power rankings. Doesn't mean squat.
The Bills are 8-6. Underachieving and maddeningly inconsistent.
Generally it means that they are better than their record and are likely to improve. One score losses are fluky and contrary to popular belief generally even out over time.

One yard runs on first and second down don’t put Josh in good situations. If they need a strong RB hand it off to Gilliam.

100%. We had no business winning that game and you know it. Reich with Allen would put us in elite territory.
No business? It wasn’t a fluky game or anything.

Who is the head of the division if Patriots lose to Colts and Bills. Bill's win rest there games, while Patriots only lose those two. Do the Bill's get the division for playoffs?
Yes. Bills would have better division record. Dolphins beat Pats in Week 1.

I miss the Paul Tagliabue days......
Not sure what made those days so great. He oversaw a ridiculous spate of franchise relocations.

It's on ABC for those of us who use the antenna.

This might be a dumb question for most, hope you guys can help.
How can Buffalo win the division if we lose this Sunday but win out the rest of year.
Patriots need to lose one & we need to beat them. Assuming they win other games and we have a tied record at end of year.
Do we win tie breaker ? Really curious & i cant find the info online.
Thanks
Id rather win vs TB & hope this question means nothing Sunday! Go Buffalo
In that scenario, the Bills would win the tiebreaker because of a better division record and split head-to-head. Patriots will have lost to Bills and Dolphins in the division. Bills will have only lost once in the division, to the Patriots.

This is unprofessional. I am reporting this to HR.

This game is the rallying point like AZ was last year.
It's time to lace up those cleats and pull up those jock straps boys
As Wrex once said " Its On "
I hope so. I also hoped that was the case for the Colts game and the Jags game before that.

Of course it was Jerry Sullivan who pissed off Hyde.

Just guessing here but 11 wins probably guarantees the playoffs and maybe the division. The Bills have three tough games and three games they should win
NE(2) at TB - tough
CAR,ATL, NYJ - should win
If the Bills don't "Jacksonville" one of the games they should win and they at least split with NE then they should be in good shape.
The problem is that if they can't beat the Patriots at home how can one think they will beat them in NE?

At least if the Bills lose they can blame the weather, which will help their confidence going forward.

What does this mean?

A player is crazy to stay on the practice squad instead of taking an opportunity to be on an active roster.

If the old adage still holds true and you get 3 points just for playing at home, the Bills need to view this as a slap in the face.
Neutral field and the the Bills would be .5 against a rookie QB? Insult. I know the Pats D is good. So is ours. Our offense is better and a Monday night game in OP against the Pats basically for the division lead? Place will be unhinged. This will be the most hostile environment Mac has played in.
Home teams have a losing record this year and I think Vegas has started to give fewer automatic points to the home team. -

Personally, as long as the teams that didn't vote for the move (the Bills are one) don't have to pay for it, I don't care who pays for it exactly.
And why not give STL a franchise in the future? The expansion fee will be enormous and they can (and will) change the by-laws so they don't get burned next time. Or maybe, just maybe, negotiate in good faith next time? But eh, whatever. Not my city and there are other markets.
What was the point other than reminding the county and state (and everyone else) what they should already know?
Bills voted for it.
Should we bring back John Brown for the Patriots game?
