  1. EJ was pressured often, but even when he had time, he held on way too long. He's cement footed in the pocket and has no scrambling speed. His passes had no zip. He struggles to identify open receivers. He is the least elusive QB we've had since Bledsoe.

Marrone's post game presser was very painful. Chan was more articulate. Marrone must have said "ya know" 500 times in 5 minutes. I can see players tuning him out. He comes across as a lightweight.

He sounds a lot like mr garrison..ok

  2. Well seems overwhelmingly that a stud tight end is on everyone's wish list, myself included.

With the signing of moiaki we now have four tight ends on the roster. I like how they are taking a flyer with this kid, I'm interested in seeing how he looks these last four games. What if he looks great and we can spend our early round pick elsewhere, that would be wonderful.Makes me wonder why gragg and lee smith are still here, perhaps their role on special teams?

I really think we need a big tall physical wide receiver. We all know how Hackett keeps trying those little fades around the goal line and I just don't think our little fast wr's are really suited for that.

  3. If they leave wny I'm out. A lot of it for me is that I enjoy the local media that covers the team. However if they moved to canada I would not follow them even if the local media coverage remained, just on principle.

This franchise was one of the building blocks of what the nfl has become. The thought of selling it off to Canadian interests disgusts me.

I don't understand the owner talk. Did ralph fumble the ball twice. Did he miss a block. Did he miss open receivers? Did he blow his coverage on a receiver for a TD? Should he be flipping the bird to the other team. Ralph doesn't sign the coaches, ralph doesn't sign players, ralph doesn't coach the team. Ralph just owns the team. Do you blame the owner of McDonald's when they put pickles on your Big Mac and you asked for none

OLBs in a 3-4 are basically pass rushing DEs. His size would hurt him even more when not protected by Williams and dareus

Neither ray croc or Ralph have given pickles in a good number of years.

    The curse lives..

  5. Was Stevie improvising on his route on the goal line i wonder?

The time they went for it in four down territory when they needed three yards and threw a thirty yard bomb.. Really?

Chandler and graham should be backups.

The officiating is starting to ruin the game.

Over a minute left, why didn't they kick a field goal then onside kick down by two scores?

They must have agreed to Sundays off for our new analytics guy.

  6. Probably because special teams are so bad on this team, the less chances they get to screw something up, the better.

The worst has to be the punt return team. I used to get excited when leodis would return punts.

This year he has had no room at all. Never. Do they try to hold up the gunners at all?

The punt team is like night and day with Moorman punting. Kudos to that move.

That is great. I'm curious if the card has any value. I would think there is a market for the cards of notorious flameouts.

If there is then I remember trading a friend for a Kevin Maas Yankee rookie haha.

On the bills note, although he had his moments Drew Bledsoe disappointed me.

Maybe it just irritated me he was the patriots sloppy second..

  8. unfortunately I fear I'm correct as well. I've never been shy about my opinion of Kyle as a football player. IMO, he's over rated. I've stated it's because he's a country white bit, who brings his lunch pal to work, with a blue collar attitude and he's got a high motor. That's all great. And I believe he's good. But I seriously doubt his ability beyond good. I personally don't think he's pro bowl caliber and he might be very effective in the pass rush, he's putrid against the run most of the times. There's nothing wrong with that. But it's not what we need him to do. It's like fitting a square peg into a round hole.

Usually when I see Branch, he's in there with Kyle. (At least what I've noticed) I'd actually like to see him with Marcell a bit more (and he might be and I'm just not paying attention).

In fact, I'd like to see Kyle play DE with MD and Branch in at the DT positions and Mario in the other side. Not sure I've seen that at all but it sure would be scary. I'd dare teams to run on us at that point.

Someone hit the nail on the head when they said basically that Kyle would be a great situational rotation player, but having a blue chip DL next to 99 on first and second down would be great.

    More early draft picks please...

  9. I say keep Manuel, Lewis (based on his performance last week), Dixon on PS and let Kolb go. Let Flynn and Tuel battle it out for third string QB in the parking lot in inflatable sumo wrestler outfits.

I'd keep manuel lewis and tuel active, and midweek I'd have Flynn, Dixon, Tuel, and Kolb have a tag team cage match for the third spot and the bomb squad.

  10.

Well then he needs to do a lot of overseeing of the D and kicking teams this week.

I see a common theme on TBD to be busting on Hackett and the O. While his play calling is puzzling at times, we are putting up 20+ points week in and week out against sturdy Ds. We're not losing due to that side of the ball.

Coach Marrone needs to spend some quality time with the under performing units.

    You got that right.

Punt return team has been just as bad as the punt team I feel.

I was almost certain with mckelvin back there now we would get a return, but he had no room. I'm not sure if it's crossman or if we just need some better depth players on special teams.

Marrone admitted they got caught in the wrong d on those long screens. It happens. I like how he will admit mistakes.

On an unrelated note, I like how Doug saves his time outs like his first communion money. Especially since this team seems to have a flare for last second drama.

  11. You're not the only one on Brandon, but be careful, people will openly say they'll block you and hate you for it. I am truly baffled why I should be pleased with his work, and why I'm wrong in thinking he's a mere yes man for Wilson.

Marrone has shown very poor game management skills. Brandon has spewed the 'analytics' line and there's no evidence that he's following through on that.

The Bills handled CB depth poorly. Handled QB situation exceptionally, embarrassingly poorly. They have copious cap space while ceding quality assets and addressing nothing.

I agree that the team is headed in the right direction. The defense, even with a lesser game today, is showing real promise. There's quality pieces to build around. Do I think it matters with this front office? No. Not unless the Bills get really lucky with a QB.

Oh no people blocking and hating...ooo so scared.

Bothers me that people still think the 95 year old man who gave us this team is still somehow sabotaging them.

The number of injuries in the secondary go beyond a lack of depth.

The tuel debacle is on the coaches, not the FO.

Really giving up on Manuel? Are ya kidding? I'm excited we may have found our backup. Ej and Thad could solidify the position for years, and they should only get better.

And why spend the cap down to the last penny? There's a rollover if I'm not mistaken. This team is damn close. Another a+ draft next year and we are in business.
