  1. Why didn't his handlers find a shooter that could hit a target?
  2. Cheatle, 53, is the second woman to lead the presidential protection agency and secured the non-Senate-confirmed role in August 2022 after a three-year stint as senior director of global security at PepsiCo. How'd she do at Pepsi? Did she defend Pepsi machines or stop people from stealing cans of soda?
  3. Yup, raising minimum wage too high won't get more people working. Going back on the gold standard would be massively deflationary and would cause a massive constriction of the economy. As to the lawn mowing, won't all the kids want riding mowers to make it easy, even if the lawn is the size of a postage stamp? That seems the case in most places these days. Seems funny, we are still focusing on Appalachian poor people, wasn't that what LBJ was trying to fix in Great Society? Sure worked, huh? Same as it ever was, and nothing but complaining from West Virginia and those places, like its all someone else's fault.
  4. Demand side? How is Biden increasing demand?
  5. I'm not the one including Oswald in the Trump shooting! I suppose Alex Baldwin was there, too?
  6. Oswald was involved in this shooting, too? Oh boy!
  7. Seems Biden did a good job going standing in that UAW picket line while Trump went to a non-union shop. Trump now has to pick Vance now to try and recover his union voters.
  8. The immigrants are working. It's the domestic "workers" with the entitlement mentality
  9. Workers are kind of upset about being forced to show up on time, too. Employers are just so demanding!
  10. Someone obviously f+++ up big time. How do you not cover the high ground? Ya, firings are in order
  11. They blamed the local cops. Think any cops get fired over this?
  12. Hates America? Who was calling our GIs suckers and losers?
  13. $45 million a month? Wow, the plutocrats are uniting. Doesn't this guy love Putin, too?
  14. Just watch, the media will start finding the wife beaters in that group, just like they did with Trump.
  15. This election will be decided by the policies. Biden's policies are just more popular
  16. Before you read the polls sprinkle some salt on them and then say a prayer, they will be more accurate that way 🤣
  17. Maybe put the donut down and go have a look?
  18. There were cops inside the building while the shooter was on the roof? Strange
  19. Boy are you gullible! That kid's body was put up there way before the rally. Trump was never hit, he used a blood packet he smashed in his ear, and the shots that killed rally goers were fired from a second gunman (A Hillery plant) hidden in the trashy hole across the way
  20. Gee, I wonder why Trump passed over the guys with dark skin and picked the white guy who compared him to Hitler and said Trump voters were idiots. Gee, interesting question
  21. He wants to cut off immigration and raise the minimum wage to $20 an hour? https://www.nytimes.com/2024/06/13/opinion/jd-vance-interview.html. It’s a classic formulation: You raise the minimum wage to $20 an hour, and you will sometimes hear libertarians say this is a bad thing. “Well, isn’t McDonald’s just going to replace some of the workers with kiosks?” That’s a good thing, because then the workers who are still there are going to make higher wages; the kiosks will perform a useful function; and that’s the kind of rising tide that actually lifts all boats. What is not good is you replace the McDonald’s worker from Middletown, Ohio, who makes $17 an hour with an immigrant who makes $15 an hour. And that is, I think, the main thrust of elite liberalism, whether people acknowledge it or not. Or the hotels example. If you cannot hire illegal migrants to staff your hotels, then you have to go to one of the seven million prime-age American men who are out of the labor force and find some way to re-engage them. It’s amazing: To this day, I hear from Republican donors, “Oh, I’ll support you because you’re Republican, but you’re not pro-business.” Well, what do you mean I’m not pro-business? I actually really agree with the classic libertarian critique of the regulatory regime. “But we can’t run our business unless we have some of these immigrants coming over, because we can’t find people who are going to do the job.” My response is that there are people who would do those jobs if the incentives were there.
