  1. How about we keep them, and try to have a good wr core? We don't need to trade anyone we have cap room. Right now until proven otherwise the only legit wr we have is Stevie Johnson. I like the potential of Woods, and Da'Rick Rogers as much as the next guy, but it's mostly a bunch of "maybe, but" types behind SJ13

I agree. Lets find out who our top guys are first! I still think Goodwin is going to be good! From highlights and stuff looks like he has some good hands, and his speed is going to help him. Buffalo looks like they might have a shot at the playoffs, if EJ or Kolb works good at QB.

The consensus seems to be that Easley, Smith and Graham have little or nor value.. My guess is if that is true they don't survive training camp.

I don't know about Easley because he hasn't played a full year yet (I Think) but Smith and TJ look pretty good! Im liked what I saw in mini camp ( the one the just happened two weeks ago I think)

Brad Smith will likely be our 4th WR. And he's still a good special teams contributor. No reason to get rid of him unless we are really hurting for cap space. He fills in a few holes.

But now we have Marquise Goodwin on Special teams. But I like him as a WR.

Oh, BTW-Did y'all know that Goodwin was USA leading long jumper in the 2012 London Olympics?

I "think" the wildcat will end up being a short lived little used fad going forward. Personally I was never much of a fan of that play. Its 3rd and 1...Brad Smith lines up at QB. The whole world knows what the play is gonna be. Result: 1 yard and a cloud of dust. It has been used with some success admittedly. It doesn't make for very interesting watching...from a fans' perspective. In my opinion, of course.

I was just thinking Tebow because B. Smith never had skill at that position for the bills, he didn't have enough muscle. Tebow would be better for the position. But on the other hand EJ can run it too.

You know it should be better than and not "better then" I'm hoping. Not trying to be a smartazz...Just trying to help a guy out.

Oh, Thanks. I must have missed that. I was typing on the go.

The Bills will run the read option with EJ this year, and I don't see any QB surviving the year behind the current line.

    Me neither?

Well, you did say earlier "He is better then most QBs!" Which kind of implies you think he's better than most QB's. Not that Its any big deal to me ...or anything like that. Might have been a good idea to say the TE ..wildcat stuff early on.

Ya. Sorry, I read over my stuff a little bit late :) I kinda noticed that I didn't say that in the beginning, I thought I did. Well now y'all now. So sorry for the mix up. The " Better then most QBs" was, he is better in the wildcat then most QBs are.

  6. I hope he goes to a team and becomes a starting QB and wins the SB! The Bills would do great with him. We have a bunch of quick players at WR, and Spiller and Fredex would run the ball. He wouldn't have to throw that often. He is better then most QBs!

  7. arent you the one that started the thread yesterday that hed be our #2 opening day?

between that one, and the other tuel thread on the first page.... you didnt think it was enough?

Maybe, I don't know. There has been a lot of Jeff Tuel stuff going around. But I like him a #2 only because I don't like seeing our #1 pick sitting on the bench.

They did attempt to sign him prior to free agency, but the two sides couldn't come to terms. They attempted again to negotiate with him, even after the franchise tag was assigned, and still haven't come to an agreement. It's not like the Bills aren't trying. Have patienceman...these negotiations are a chess match.

I'm confident Byrd will at least sign his franchise tender before mandatory team mini-camps. He will be motivated to sign long-term, as the Bills potentially could use the franchise tag on him for the next 2 seasons.

Man I hope your right! I think they need to save a franchise tag for CJ or give him a extension, doesnt his contract come up next year? Without CJ the offence is going to fail, he was the only one on the offence that could do anything! Fitz couldn't complete many passes!,
