  1. Evey year for the past ten or so I have called DTV to cancel my Sunday Ticket package in order to get a better deal, which I have always gotten. I think when I call next August to cancel I won't be doing it to negotiate. I want to enjoy my Sunday afternoons again and don't know if that's possible watching the Bills another year. I've been a fan since day one but I don't see where anything is realistically being done to put a winning team on the field. Wait till next year just doesn't cut it any more!
  2. How about something more serious than doing pushups for penalties. The second time Felton false started I told my wife they should release him. It's time a REAL message was sent to the players. And if one needs to be sent to the coaching staff, do it!
  3. I went to Directv.com last night and complained. The agent gave me the "nothing I can do" excuse, and then gave me $10/month off for 5 months and $25 off the base Directv package for three months because I'm a "loyal customer". I signed up for a free 7 day trial of NFL.com game pass and will watch the game later. Not the best, but better than nothing!
  4. Nucci - by permanent I mean not having to call and haggle with them every year. They should automatically discount Sunday Ticket for long time subscribers.
  5. I just went the chat route then customer service with a pin #. They started with an offer of $5.00 a month for six months. I explained that I would need more than that to remain a customer. Ended up with $20/mo. credit for 12 months and the original offer of $5.00 a month for six months. End result is free Sunday Ticket and a couple of bucks to spare. It's just too bad we have to call and do this every year. I think I'll try for a permanent solution next year. GO BILLS!
  6. I've been a fan since day 1. My dad was a charter member of the Buffalo Bills Booster Club and I am probably the only card carrying member of the club in PA. I remember the heart break of losing to KC and missing out on Superbowl 1. I remember a game atht e Rockpile against the Bengals (late 60's), sitting in the "covered" endzone and having 4" of snow on top of our blankets and not being able to see the scoreboard. I was at the first game at Rich stadium sitting in the upper deck and watching buses roling into the parking lot in the 3rd quarter. Parking, etc. was a disaster for a while for sure! Hope springs eternal though, and I look forward to celebrating our first Superbowl win.
