Thats a long list of incompetence. Ill take my chances with Thad.Of course, it would be a little more reassuring if we had a capable seasoned veteran QB as our backup (really too bad about Kolb, he would have fit the backup role perfectly). However, I was pleasantly surprised with Thad. He's not going to light the world on fire but he did a decent job (he was at least average, a C or maybe even a C+,on the other hand, poor Jeff Tuel was an F but that's not surprising for a UDFA--not many Tony Romo stories out there). As we all know, every team in the NFL will be in trouble if their starter goes down. The city is finally moving in the right direction. A downtown stadium would be yet another positive move. Small minded morons like Esmonde would be pumping all our tax dollars into reviving the local steel industry if they had their way. He needs to be ignored, plain and simple.
Cant say I was a fan of Felser. An overblown windbag in his own right whose inane ramblings became an embarrassment. Wasnt half as smart as he thought he was.Let's be honest- The Buffalo News is a wretched piece of crap! There isn't a sliver or semblance of journalistic competency on the part of any of the writers/columnists that are employed by that ragtag operation. Esmonde's been terrible for years- yet is still employed and a given a forum for his empty-headed musings. Entertaining character? I guess you find criminals to be entertaining...It's too bad if his career fizzles over a contracr dispute. He's a throwback player thats fun to watch, and an entertaining character.

I would be all for this. Contrary to the opinion of some, Pegula wants to win. Given his initial loyalty to Darcy I think he would keep Whaley and Co. in place, which would be the right thing to do. I dont think this is a coincidence. Bills are probably selling north of 1.5 bill.

Is this whole special teams injury thing a myth? Ive been watching this game for over forty years. Probably watched over 1000 games lifetime. Maybe 2000 if you throw in college. Guys dropping like flys on special teams is one thing that has never stood out to me! I say put Sammy in the return game. We need all the help we can get. Hes a dangerous playmaker. Get the ball in his hands anyway you can!!!!!

Your right. We should just wait till the seasons over before we make any judgments. Actually lets wait two years. Wouldnt want to jump the gun evaluating anything a team is doing that hasnt made the playofs in 14 years.Yes, be very worried what is happening on the field in May.

Whats really hilarious here is that Desean Jackson will be stone cold broke within six months of retiring. Just like 99% of all other pro athletes. If he does win this suit every dime of the award will go to cocaine and hookers. The judge should throw the case out on general principles.

Im just gonna complain about Dave Wannstadts, I mean Jim Schwartzs unimaginative schemes as I watch our sack total drop into the teens and see our Defense go from top ten to bottom five. This guy is going to be a disaster.Cue the people bitching about Schwartz complaining about Buffalo weather.

I can hear it now. 5 games into the regular season when we dont have a single sack and are again getting gouged for five hundred yards on a regular basis. 'These same defenses worked when I was a coordinator in 2001 so they should work now.' 'We just need to do a better job of winning one on one battles.' Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah. Nothing Ive seen or heard so far makes me think that this guy is nothing more than Dave Wannstadt Jr. Hope im wrong.
Brooks sucks. Wake up.The Bills disagree with you, otherwise he wouldn't be playing NFL football and certainly wouldn't be getting looks ahead of Robey in Nickel and Dime packages in the 9 on 9 drills. At the end of the day, Robey was better coached in college (Marrone said this himself), and Brooks has dealt with injuries in both of his first two seasons. When all is said and done, Brooks has the speed (4.35), agility (7.16 cone) and size to be a #2 CB in the NFL. Robey will never be anything more than a situational defender. There is no upside beyond what we've seen from him.

A few weeks removed from the Sammy Watkins trade and Im loving this deal even more now than when it went down. The reports from the rookie minicamp are very encouraging. I think we are looking at 80 rec for 1200 yards and 10 tds with NFL rookie of the year honors. Think your gonna see alot of four wide looks which should get CJ going again with more space available. Williams, Woods, Watkins, and Goodwin. Thats a major upgrade over last year. Cant wait till september. Yea I know many of you are gonna come at me with the 'EJ' sucks blast. If your gonna bash this thread, be more original than that.

Dont rule out somebody like Kirk Cousins. I could see Whaley trading for a young QB whose stuck behind a vet.

I think the Cuomo/Schumer point is a very strong one. The NFL has made billions from tax payer support. One day they will push it too far and the political backlash (recision of very favorable tax and anti trust laws) will be severe. People like Jerry Jones act like NFL owners live in shanties in the worst part of their respective cities. Lets hope our politicians swing their weight and put people like Jerra in their place.
Ive been saying it to. People like Jerry jones are just dumb enough to think they can piss the wrong people off and continue to get away with it. If New York is willing to fund a new stadium it would be inexcusable for the NFL to leave. That would be greed at its worst. I doubt Jerra and Napolean(Daniel Snyder) want Shcumer and Cuomo as enemies.I've been saying this all along, that the NFL doesn't want anything to do with being on the bad side of Schumer, but others thought it was no big deal...apparently they were wrong, lol

Watkins is one hundred times better than Beckham. Sammys projected stats for 2014. 6000 receptions for 80000 yards and 900 tds. Im psyched.I still don't like the cost of the trade. Is Watkins that much better than Beckham? ...who we could have gotten at 9.

Dont really care what the fans think or the so called experts for that matter. Kiko was a 'reach' according to many last year and I see hes in the NFL Networks top 100 players as voted by the players. So much for the 'reach' theory. That should tell you everything you need to know about fan opinion. Most of which is formulated by know-it-all blowhards like Kiper and McShay who work in an area where nobody knows it all. In fact most of the experts(including NFL personnel people) don't know most of it. If you redrafted five years after every draft the draft would look nothing like it did when it first went down originally.
