No one can watch that video and say Diggs is anything but a great teammate.

That was the biggest takeaway for me too...also, for some reason, I thought Kincaid was one of those "super-Christy" kind of guys who would never curse!  Not so much, as it turns out...

    Burrow was 28-32.

I suppose there's always hope that they spent some of themselves on today's win.

Either way, McD will have had 10 days to have the team prepared.  They'd better hit the field looking the part.

How'd the Bengal OL look?   Did you watch the game?   Niners have a formidable Front 7.

The Bengals looked about as good as any team I've seen this year. Bills have their work cut out for them. 49ers got a little pressure early, but when they did, Burrow made them pay.

  3. Honestly, I can remember in previous seasons people here complaining about Josh not interacting with teammates on the sideline enough, during games...possibly the same people who wanted Daboll fired every other week, who now think he was the greatest thing.

I know many don't pay attention much to the halftime commentary from the studio hosts, and I usually don't either.  But for some reason, yesterday, I caught most of it.  One thing that stuck out to me, was Bill Cowher saying something to the effect of "the Bills problem on offense, is they are trying to change too many things all at once, which is causing them to be out of synch" or something along those lines. He seemed to think they would figure things out.  Fingers crossed that he is right.

Make Houston an offer they can’t refuse. If Houston is being truthful they know they are not winning the Super Bowl this year. They are building for the 2024 and beyond. With that said Nico is a great target.

Nico is a great target...the Texans appear to have struck gold in the draft with Stroud and Nico. That is the core of their rebuilding. There is no logical reason for them to trade Nico to us...

  5. My biggest complaint about the offense, we don't seem to have any real in-game flexibility.  We come in and do what we do, and more often than not, it works.  But, when it doesn't work, it is so frustrating. There is no real shame in losing to Jacksonville yesterday. They are a very talented, well coached team, who was kind of finding their sea-legs the first few weeks of the season.  They may have had some logistical benefits, only further enhanced with our seemingly endless injury problems during the game.

All that going against us, I really think (like last time we lost to the Jags) we were only 1 play away, most of the game, from breaking it open.  We could have left London with an ugly win, but it seems sometimes, the Bills are too slow to recognize on offense, what isn't working.  Though they didn't run the ball a whole lot yesterday (and let's face it, it wasn't working) they still did it a few times, very late, when the clock was becoming a factor. A frustrating loss, to be sure...but not the end of the world.  Losing Milano is a lot more damaging than the loss is.

Dorsey calls a good game most of the time, but his inexperience may be showing a little against some of the better defenses.  I know, walking the fine line with Josh (when and when not to "ball out") is a factor....I wish they had let him be a little more aggressive earlier in the game.  Even the opening drive of the second half. You have all these new role players in the offense, use them!

  6. On the post-game show they said he played 18 snaps, fwiw.

This thread reminds me of why I come here less and less over the years. People act as though they have never watched football before and have no idea what the ***** they are talking about, far more often than not. Last week McDermott had his "greatest win", his "signature win...this week he deserves to be fired. Get a grip "Bills mafia"!

Today's loss was depressing, even if it isn't that huge of an upset, or that unfathomable. More than the L in the standings, losing Milano for the year is far more significant.

  7. I am not a Maddy Glab fan-boy, by any stretch. I find her hard to listen to, for an entire radio show. I say this, because after hearing her off and on over the last 4 years or so, I found her apology/excuse completely plausible.  When I first heard the audio, it wasn't identified who the reporter was (it was from a national source), but I recognized her voice immediately.

The way she said it, I really believe she was just trying to be funny, with a colleague.  I can't even put into words this kind of humor, but I suspect we have all heard people talk like this, trying to be funny.  I really didn't beleive that she meant what she said, literally.  Her colleague was telling her that she should get an interview with Diggs (the most newsworthy Bill as of late) and she is telling her, in a funny way, that she wouldn't, because she doesn't have that kind of access to Diggs.  Nobody does.  It's like saying. "I'm going to ask my parents for $10,000 so I can by a guitar...my father will say "***** you, I'm not giving you money for a guitar" Even though I never heard my father use the F word, I say this to emphasize how opposed my father would be to this. The person I am relaying this to knows, my father didn't actually say "***** you"

In other words, he speaks with the media, when he wants to...she (or other media members) don't go to him for interviews.  She wasn't speaking to everyone, only one person...unfortunately for her, it got caught on an open mic, and everyone is makeing it into a bigger deal than it really should be.

At the same time, I sympathize with Diggs indignation over the remarks.  Because the world we live in now, it gives fuel to those who want to portray him as difficult. People like Florio are having an aneurysm, trying to drum up drama around Diggs.  I do think Diggs is much more media savvy and aware of his image than many want to give him credit for.  The national media types have been bending over backwards to paint a picture of him as being difficult, a cancer, a diva.  etc etc.

It would be a shame if this helped precipitate the Bills losing Diggs...and it would be sad if Glab lost her job...for this.

Can you elaborate on the Peyton Manning bit? I missed this.

I only heard the soundbite, but apparently on the "Manning Cast" , Peyton said that when he talked to Josh this week, Allen told him he is dertmined to cut down on turnovers, and play smarter...so, as the game wore on and the turnovers and blunders piled up, Peyton said "he lied to me."

  9. Ironically, after bitching for 25 years or so about not being able to get Sunday TIcket, now that I can (I even signed up for YoutubeTV), I am going to pass this year.  I live in Texas...looking at the Bills schedule, assuming they are still a winning team this year, between primetime games, and Sunday afternoon high profile games, I think I will get to see anywhere from 10-12 Bills games without Sunday Ticket.   I will go to the bar, for the other 5 or 6.

I do subscribe to NFL+ ($99 for a year), and if I am understanding correctly, though you still can't watch game live, the y are including Red Zone with it.  Not sure how much I would use Red Zone (I like to focus on one game at a time), but it's nice to have that option available, at no extra charge.  To get Red Zone through YoutubeTV it is $10.99 a month.

  10. You know what I noticed re-watching, they never mention during the broadcast that it was the biggest comeback in NCAA history...like everyone was just caught up in the excitement of the game, and perhaps, technology wasn't as lightening fast back then, so they didn't know until after the game?

Either way, it was a fun watch.  I really liked Kosar, and it was fun seeing Reich being so mobile. Having only seen him in his NFL career, I always thought of him as a little more statuesque..

  11. I do believe that all the pre-season games are broadcast live on NFL+.  Not the case for the regular season, but in the preseason only.

If you don't have NFL+, NFL Network will show the game at 7am eastern Sunday Morning (Aug.13), and again Wednesday (Aug. 16th) at 4pm eastern.

Personally, Saturday games suck for me, so though I will watch, it won't be live.

    Np and thank you!

I would say it is super accessible for kids. They have some games set up for kids and concessions. A lot of kids were there today. I think they have like a tunnel wall around where kids can line up to go get autographs over by the main field. Very kid friendly atmosphere with a lot of kid friendly amenities/attractions I would say.

Thanks...while I am not heading out there, trying to convince a buddy of mine to take his son.  The kid loves the Bills...going to a game is a bit out of their budget...in some ways I think this might be even more fun for a 9 year old. We took him to a game back in 2021...he was excited to be there, but was kinda bored by the end, and it was pouring out.

  13. So, not to hijack this thread, because I know it is info about what happened on the practice field (I appreciate that), but can anyone who was there today tell me how accessible this is for kids? The last time I was at SJF was 2007 (Marv Levy was the GM) and it was super fan friendly, especially for kids.  They had a schedule and tents set up for specific position groups to meet with the kids.  As I recall, Xerox was out there, handing out programs, photos etc etc.  I know a lot can change in 15 years...is it still set up for the kids?

Kennedy gave testimony at a hearing on government censorship where Democrats attempted to censor and block him from testifying all while claiming no such government censorship programs and efforts exist.  Basically demonstrating the behavior they claim doesn't exist.  Just amazing.  Lying mofo's can't even get their story straight.

Disagreeing with someone is not censoring or blocking them.  These hearings are nothing but more subterfuge from desprate MAGAs. They found their rube in RFK Jr....a man with a skin as thin as DJT.

I'm old enough to remember when liberals had bumper stickers on their cars that read "I may not agree with what you say but will fight for your right to say it."

I am old enough to remember when conservatives loved democracy and the constitution...
