Years ago one of the best punters in the league was Randall Cunningham, but they wouldn't let him punt except once in a while. He had 20 punts for a 44.7 average but while with the Eagles he punted 12 times averaging 51.7 yards per punt. He never had a punt blocked and has the 3rd longest punt in NFL history at 91 yards:
I don't doubt it. Cunningham was an amazing athlete!

Make the over under 3.5, I think over 1.5 is a given
It could be a push if Edmunds is cut. Hes only half of a man...

This is how dialed in fans are this year. Usually no one even knows who your punter is. Well unless he was the best player on the team for a decade.. haha

Sam Martin is best available. He was a nice little suprise to be let go. I wanted Kern but Martin is 4 years younger and has a stronger leg.
good news is there should be a couple of good ones to choose from and an upgrade from Haack still.

It's insane to me that fans judge last year as his measuring stick. Baker looked crisper than josh at the end of year one (not in same stratosphere anymore), has played well more often than not. Last year had a torn up rotator cuff (labrum maybe?).
Anyone ever have a shoulder injury like that? Can't lift your hand higher thsn your shoulder, let alone throw a DUKE ball with shoulder pads on lol he'll be healthy this year and had some accurate throws friday
Cleveland changed coaches a few times. Is not generally viewed as strongest support staff, not good for a qb like baker. I don't know the carolina is the pillar of stability he needs, but cant be worse than CLE and has healthy. He's going to be competitive
Baker was more NFL ready. He hit is ceiling. what you have seen is the best going to get. Mid tier qb. Panthers arent going on any superbowl runs anytime soon. Nor were the Browns.

Hes a little guy. Im sure hes going to be hurting a ton by the end of the season. Which is why we have good depth there. No worries. Heal up lil Dirty!

Geezus, the world is out of control right now. Glad to hear he is in stable condition already, hopefully he makes a speedy and full recovery.
This happens everyday man. Just not often it happens to a professional athlete. This is why i avoid lots of areas in wny. Not worth taking that chance of walking across that one desperate guy that has nothing to lose.

Yeah everyone that is in on the Barkley is terrible trend, should also be on the Keenum is terrible. they both suck and we are in trouble if Allen goes down.

He'd be a huge upgrade from Bojo and Haack. I'd offer a late round pick for him or Howard if they're desperate at TE.
Why? Buffalo is the superbowl fav. Why wouldnt any cut punter want to come to buffalo first choice? They arent going to keep 2 punters.

Until the Titans throw a curveball and cut Stonehouse. From what I here, Stonehouse has been great in camp. You pick him up then and roll with it. lol although they probably prefer a vet at this point since hes coming in a week before opener...

where did you hear that from??? They have been proven to be over 80% accurate. To call them “WILDY inaccurate “ is a false narrativeI mean they work for the average man. Sociopaths that have zero emotion they are useless on.

I thought that at first too, but then wasn't sure if maybe it wasn't standard practice to not install one for guys who aren't dressing. 🤷♂️
Yeah, road locker. this would make sense.

This is yet more proof that culture and work ethic matters. There are always those that say things like:
- They're professional athletes, they all work hard - sure but some are more driven and work harder and they get better. If this were not true, you would not have contract clauses on weight, study, etc. or stories about QBs who hadn't studied the playbook.
- I would rather have talent over culture - sure, but I would rather have talent AND good culture. The way I phrase it is - good culture is a talent multiplier.
I love McD's philosophy of a leader in every room.
Yeah, and I'm proud its the good kind of culture and not that cheating bag of d***s kinda culture that ran our division for 20 years...

It's striking how much better this message board is than most other NFL ones. Occasionally I'll check one to see the fans' reaction after a big trade/signing and they're either inactive or incredibly toxic. The mods do a very good job of keeping this messge board above board.
Yeah ive gotten a good spanking or two for being out of line a time or two on here... 🙃

Hogan was a WR4 maybe WR3 at for a little guy which is great for any guy trying to make the NFL. Fans acted like he was the 2nd coming of Wes Welker and his loss was something huge when in the grand scheme it really wasn't.
Donald Jones and David Nelson were starting WRs for the Bills at one point... Cant blame fans for thinking Hogan was good. We hadnt seen good WRs in a long long time. lol

Blackshear isnt making it to the practice squad. He will be on an active roster somewhere if he shows out again in a third game. If we want to stash him, we should probably not play him much in the 3rd game. lol
2 hours ago, corta765 said:Anyone got the flow chart available of the preseason hype player we can't let go because they are going to be something? I thought it went something like this for the last decade:
Jeff Tuel -> Bryce Brown -> Chris Hogan -> Brandon Reilly -> Christian Wade -> Duke Williams -> Blackshear?
I mean there is always guys you are rooting for to make it. Hogan actually did. The other guys had little to no chance. Blackshear does.

Will know what we have in our CBs early. Hoping the pass rush helps them along early this season.
