I think the division title should not dictate seeding or home field advantage but that’s it.

Clearly.

This Steeler team is not good. How on god’s green earth did they get this lucky.

What a boring awful game.

If your offense is going to be predictable…you have to have better athletes.
That’s piss poor for a team with playoff hopes.

Why? For the love of god why?!?!

Someone needs to have fun on the field and stop playing so tight! Go effing PLAY ball!
This is ridiculous.

What in gods name did they do this week?!?
This is beyond disgusting
-
Wow. Call timeout. Let other team challenge. Call reversed.
I am sorry but if that’s how that goes…eliminate the ability of the other team challenge with a timeout! How about that wrinkle to emphasize the importance of timeout management!?!?
-
How many eagles linemen need to be moving pre snap to get called for a false start???
I am all for keeping the play in next year but make those Bastards come to a full stop and be lined up with no movement before the snap!!!
Got lineman wiggling feet and other guys flinching ….its awful.
-
The frequency of QBs trying to throw when the play is so far gone and costing their teams is insane!
-
Thank goodness I played the lottery because the way this week is going anything is possible!!!
Go Bills!

Exactly the point I'm making.
I completely agree with the idea of "let them play" and "stop ticky tack penalties that don't affect the outcome of the play" or "the NFL needs more consistency on reviewed calls in critical spots"
Just off the top of my head
12 men on the field giving the Broncos another FG attempt
DaQuan Jones called for roughing the passer after 3 seconds of pushing Mayfield back and the play not called dead
Eagles drop the ball, on their winning drive, called a fumble and Bills recovery on the field, reversed
I'm not saying the message is wrong, but the Chiefs are the wrong messagers and Josh Allen is the last player to complain about refball too
The message is wrong when using that penalty as the example to complain about the refs though.
I am thoroughly frustrated by the refs this year and am bewildered by some of the calls/non-calls/reversals/non-reversals at almost every game.
However, I am not ever going to point at a clear penalty, that is known well by everyone, getting called when it’s obvious to everyone that the infraction occurred and complain that it was called… That’s just illogical and dumb!
I think their attitude in that moment may hurt the effort to improve the officiating. It’s diluting the validity of other arguments in my opinion.

Yeah, what you've seen does happen, too, but more often than not the WR would be good.
My point was, you've seen and I've seen the WR gesturing and getting feedback from the ref, not just in Chiefs games but in any game, and much more often than not it stands (though one zebra usually isn't going to fight his colleague zebra if it's called anyway)
We both agree that's not what happened here, we don't see Toney looking to the ref and getting the "yep" so Cry Me a River Paddy.
I was actually agreeing with your point. Think we are on same page. If Toney had asked and the ref answered and the call happened then yeah I would say that’s awful regardless of who it’s called on.

It is normal and quite common that if the WR look to the ref for confirmation that they are lined up OK and the ref signals "you're good", it won't be called even if on film it can be seen they're a bit off.
This isn't KC, this is every team. Every WR
There was a controversial play a while back - I *think* it might have been the Eagles win over the Pats in 2017 ..... there was a play on which the Eagles WR was probably lined up slightly off-sides and Patriots fans were livid it hadn't been called and all over "poor us, uncalled penalty cost us the game", but it could clearly be seen that the Eagles WR had looked to the ref on his side and been given "you're good", so no penalty was called and "too bad, so sad" for the Pats.
The key is, the WR has to ask, usually by looking at the ref and sometimes making a questioning hand gesture and the ref nods or thumbs-up them.
There's no expectation at all that the ref will trot over and tap Mr. Mahomes on the shoulder and say "Excuse me Mr Mahomes Sir but one of your skill players is positioned inappropriately, Sir"
I'm not saying you're wrong, but it's a fact that WR do look to the refs and the refs will give them input if they look. I haven't heard it called a "warning" before
I have been part of a collegiate game that the WR close to the near side ref gestures to him “I’m good?…ref says yep!” And then play goes off and the far side ref calls him offside…guess what? Call stood. That’s it. If that had taken place I would so agree with these brats. But he was Offside! How can you say anything else?
I am so happy for the Bills and we fans. We deserved one of those games against a team like that. Keep crying punk!
Love it! Go Bills!

What a bunch of brats they are. They actually said that normally refs tell them they are Offside….ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? So they admit to getting help?
They don’t like that rule? I don’t like 12 men on the field rule…how about that? That’s just as dumb as being Offside….an infinitesimally stupid error for this team as was 12 men on the field. You lost! Suck it up butter cup.
hahahah. Bunch of brats.

I don’t want to do this again. For the love all things someone make a freaking play and get us rolling!!!

Wanted to see more coming out of a bye week. This feels too similar
-
Shoot are we back in November?
-
So Browns and Bengals can put up points with second/third/semi retired QBs and yet the QBs they replaced are somehow stars in the NFL? Maybe the teams around them help make them look good.
You know sort of like when the pasties went 11-5 and 3-1 without their cheating QB.
Yet media talks Allen turnovers vs the fact that he carries the entire team.
-
Well the last 5 games are meaningful as of now and the Bills MUST make a go of it. I feel as fans we are overdue for something special!

That really doesn’t matter as you can only play the teams you’re scheduled to play and perhaps they will indeed look like crap when they face a decent team down the road, but there is no denying their offensive display the past two seasons.
Not saying you’re making one, but these arguments being made by some that they would suck on offense without Hill that are absurd. First because it’s impossible to prove unless the Dolphins lose him for any length of time and secondly because they ignore the other highly skilled players as well as McDaniel’s ability to scheme them so successfully. Those arguments lack substance as a result.
I think my point was more along the lines of the fact they put up points against sub par defenses and struggle to put up winning points against better teams. I didn’t say they were bad I just said they aren’t that good but look good due to the teams and record.
I don’t think they care right now but might when they play Dallas, Baltimore, maybe Bills and then in the playoffs play a playoff caliber D.
My guess is they flush the AFCE division championship playoff spot down the toilet when they play in the first round.

Their offense is legit and that can’t be denied.
Against a quality Defense tho? Have we seen them tested?
Their wins aren’t against good teams.
