I ran some scenarios after you posted last night. There's a lot of football left 5 games a lot can happen. Look at Pittsburgh, 3 weeks ago they were 6-3 with a possibility of catching Baltimore, now they are the #6 seed & dropping.
Count me as an optimist.
Our only hope is to win out & Indy goes 1-4 down the stretch, and Pittsburgh & Cincy go 3-2 down the stretch. Also we need San Siego to beat Cincy & Pitts.
Our probability is something like 4% which isn't good odds, but assuming we get hot, continue playing good defense and ride CJ and win out our chances improve dramatically.
The Jags game is step 1 of 5.

AJ Green is the best overall player in the 2011 draft, a complete choke job by Buddy not to draft Green. What happened to best player available? Buddy passed on a sure-fire HOFer and got a good player who may or may not make a couple of Pro Bowls.

Barnett is a liability and should be shown the door in 2013 for blown coverages like this and poor tackling.

In a totally unrelated story the Patriots have just fired their "Director of Pharmaceuticals".

This is what a few bad years does to Jets fans, imagine what 13 straight seasons of sucking would do.
-
Good despite Wannstedt's attempts to make him suck.

Agreed. We need to pull an Indianapolis Colts and go 1-15. Heck at this point we should bottom out for the next 2 seasons and go 0-32. Bet we'd still miss and draft a cornerback instead of a franchise quarterback.

19. Now 32, think of all the players we've seen come & go and make the playoffs on other teams.
Aaron Schobel ('01-'09) said it best when he retired, saying something to the effect of "I just can't take the losing anymore."

Fergy, the top marginal tax rates will be going upward. We've known this for sometime. I'd wager Ralph has had a plan in place for some time now.
From what I've read, Ralph has indicated his family will not be, nor wants, to own & operate the Bills. As the NFL allows up to 30 owners own shares of a franchise & requires one majority shareholder to control 30%, known as the owners equity rule, I would be surprised that Ralph hasn't already sold a fractional interest in the Bills to help pay this tax. In fact, in our highly private world it is likely Ralph has already transferred a portion of our team. Because the Bills are a private corporation they are not required to disclose any private transactions.

Why aren't we at least trying to force the issue downfield? Either run the damn ball 40 times or throw some deep passes. We have nothing to lose at 4-7.

Catchy tune, maybe it will be featured on American Idol.

9-7 billboard?

9-7 gets us.....

In other news, Brown Lunch Bag Man is quitting the Bills.

I've been saying this the past 3 years Chan is a southern conservative.

Chan sucks.

What about Darryl Talley?

You have to be "born" into being a Bills fan. Baptizing 20 & 30 something's is wasting time. You want more Bills fans breed more.

anyone who thinks we can't win this game needs to have their head examined. If our secondary plays a decent game on Reggie Wayne, and we shut down TY Hilton (which I believe) we win.
-
JJ Watt may be the better player now but I wouldn't be surprised to find out that dude is on some kind of PED. Dude is sick!

The nice thing is if we franchise him which is easy to do, we basically get him at the veteran average of the top 5 at safety which is...what?...3-6 million?
Franchise & negotiate.

6-0 10%, 5-1 15%, 4-2 25%, 3-3 30%, 2-4 10%, 1-5 5%, 0-6 5%.
My heart says we finish 5-1, but my brain says 3-3.

I'd still take Luck over RGIII.

Wasn't the class of 2000 pretty bad after Pennington who wasn't even a top 10 guy? At pick 199 6th round 7th QB taken comes Tommy Brady.
