I don't know the kind of people you know but when I tell people I am a die hard Bills fan people say it's guys like me that make the NFL awesome. They say how awesome it must have been to see a team go to 4 straight Super Bowls. Who cares we lost them all? It defines us as Bills fans, it is our history, we own it & are proud. We are about survival, billieving, & fighting till the end, it is our DNA. What other team comes back down 3-35?
You want a fan to emulate think of Tim Russert & how much love he had for the "bumbiling bills".
I mean could any city endure 14 straight seasons of no playoffs without losing a significant chunk of their fanbase? It isn't Russ Brandon's "genius" marketing or the fact that our ticket prices are "cheap". Bills fans have a connection with players & the region that is unique.
We are a truly unique fanbase. I went Canton and we outnumbered Giants fans 3 to 1, no small feat considering while they are 1-1/2 hours farther than Buffalo but have 10x the population. We travel extremely well considering our relative stagnat economy and lack of income. Call this our investment we've made to our team. The greatest thing you can give to something is your time. Bills fans constantly pack seats in Cleveland, Cincy, Miami, Jacksonville & other outposts hundreds of miles away.
Jim Kelly is a shining beckon of what it means to be a Bills fan. Here's a guy who is a survivor. Battled crushing Super Bowl defeats - survived, battled countless surgeries - survived, battled alcoholism - survived, nearly lost his marriage - survived, crashed in a plane upside in Alaska while hunting - survived. Cancer of the jaw - survived. Cancer of the head - survived. Endured loss of his only son & 7 years of debilitating disease - survived & fought to eliminate the very disease that claimed his son. What a warrior.
It's time to circle the wagons, Go Bills!

Is Jim Kelly Han Solo, Obi-Wan Marv Levy, Yoda Ralph Wilson, Chewbacka Bruce Smith?

I read because of the italics. Deep bro.

Our season boils down like this;
Go 4-2 vs the AFC East. (win 3 home games, win 1 road game)
Go 2-2 vs the NFC North. (win home games)
Go 2-2 vs the AFC West. (win home games)
Go 2-0 vs @ Houston Texans, & home vs Cleveland Browns.
10-6 record seems plausible.
Home record (8-0)
Road record (2-6)
The question is can the Ralph turn back into a place our opponents fear playing at?

Watkins is 21. I'm happy with blowing 2 firsts if A he plays as a top 5 receiver & B we retain his services for 10 plus seasons.
-
What really happened was Jerrah took a "potty" break with his 20 something mistresses during the first round.

The full season. We have all seen Orton's ceiling - he's a known commodity. He'll turn 32 this season leaving you with a small window to grow with. Manuel is 8 years younger and has shown signs that he can develop into a long-term starter. Assuming Manuel stays healthy we'll have a good 26 game resume. If he proves he's not the guy then we can certainly draft another QB in 2015. I wouldn't even be opposed to packaging a veteran & our 2nd to get back into the first round if necessary.
EJ has a lot of growing to do & he can't if he's on the bench. 2014 is going to be another development year no matter how the Bills FO spins it. I do believe with the ownership change everyone at OBD wants to show well to the new owner. Does a change in ownership mean the FO will back Manuel thru his growing pains? Remains to be seen. I am hoping that they are not this short sighted and let Manuel develop.

this guy is a natural, after he retires he's going to follow Jim Kelly into a broadcasting career.
-
10-1/2" hand size
-
I'm waiting for the EJ bashers to say "But Orton played in a different era." smh
-
But it's all about the QB.
Being able to control the lines on offense and defense is a highly underrated ability. Think that Seattle team wins the SB without those 2 ingredients?
-
Comparing Orton's first 10 games to EJ's
Kyle Orton: Age 23 - 7 wins 3 losses, 145/264 54.92%, 1389 yards, 8 tds, 11 ints, 16 rushes 17 yards 0 tds
EJ Manuel: Age 23 - 4 wins 6 losses, 180/306 58.82%, 1972 yards, 11 tds, 9 ints, 53 rushes 186 yards 2 tds

Sign Spiller thru 2019.

10 games in and people are getting antsy waiting for the 2nd coming of Kelly. That's okay for us to feel that way. The only thing EJ needs to do is win football games. Win more than you lose and the criticism will wane. Go 6-10 or worse and prepare for a whole lot more I told you soers to be beating their keyboards proudly.

bears 06-10-07-00 = 23

NY Post is a tabloid owned by Fox News Rupert Murdoch. These are the same idiots that said Romney would win 2012. They are a mouth piece for the Wall Street banks. Morgan Stanley must have the reporter on payroll. All part of the game to drive up the price.

Anyone else remember when CJ tweeted he didn't know the password to unlock his IPad? Maybe they are all still on hold with Apple tech support.
If only Jamarcus could have played when iPads were invented. He'd of had a legit excuse for not knowing the playbook.

If Andre Reed & Jim Kelly 12 + 83 = 6. ALWAYS
Then, 3 + 14 = bruised ribs.
-
Could we dip Sammy in the turn bones to metal bath that Wolverine was put in? That should cure Sammy's ribbies.

Let the Crusade continue! Onward Tebow Soldiers!
No stopping till we reach Mount Zion!!!
-
Is Flutie able to come in on 3rd & 30, in case our oline gets called for holding on 1st & 2nd down?
-
You know there's an abundance of optimism when hardcore fans are calling for Tebow before the season begins. Can I get a hallelujah? I said can I get a HALLELUJAH!
-
If you run that offense you might as well get Tebow to play QB.
Sorry guys, she is taken
