Listen to a WGR post game. Talk to your racist old man. Peyton Manning was bested by Russell Wilson yesterday. But my old man says that ain't so. He also said EJ is dumb, slow eyed, and afraid. This was the same critique of black soldiers throughout US history. Only a white man can be the courageous leader / face of the franchise.
The racist will always say, but we bashed Edwards, Fitz, etc. I never remember hearing the same critique of them as the all knowing QB savants of TBD. Fitz was inaccurate but smart. Trent was smart (Stanford) but was afraid after his concussion. Whatever the reason EJ gets called things no white QB in the history of the Bills has been called, stupid / slow eyes. That's BS watch ESPN sport science EJ has faster eyes & accuracy than nearly all white QBs beside Big Ben.

My contention was with your post which inferred Manual's pathetic performance was solely on the OL. And yeah, I was thrilled with the NINE FGA's Manual 'captained' us to in the 1st couple games.. 10 times, Manual and Marrone have trailed by 10 points since the became QB/Coach. Their record? 0-10.
Aaron Rodgers has EARNED a rare poor performance. Manual has yet to earn a Great performance. Subtle difference, no?
Rodgers is 1-2. And looked bad versus the Seahawks & now the Lions.
Rodgers plays for a better organization, no? I mean everyone here says Nix sucked, Whaley gave up too much for Sammy, and Marrone & Hackett are in over their heads, no?

25% in favor of Orton. Will go to 50% if Fitz beats us even if EJ goes 40/40 for 500 yards & 5 TDs.

Listen to poor Sal on WGR after a loss. My dad, brother, friends. They say nothing good about EJ when we win, but it's his fault when we lose. It is convenient to blame it all on EJ. This is the minority 25% on TBD that want Orton starting.

With regard to ball placement, EJ is undoubtedly inconsistent. He and the WRs were definitely out of sync yesterday and it's not too surprising that their chemistry is still developing with Watkins and Williams being new to the team.
Ball placement was good on 24 passes. Sammy could of had one & admitted as much. Chandler's grab vs Miami was perfect ball placement. Woods 15 yard catch was perfect yesterday. EJ can & does make great throws.
I see his struggles when he gets pressure up the middle. He hasn't learned yet how to evade the rush & climb the pocket. He rolls out the pocket instead of weaving his way forward and driving the ball off his plant leg. Any throw off the back foot will sail.

Is it me or are most bash EJ threads written by old white men? I like EJs game yesterday outside of a few bad reads which EVERY QB makes.
Remember in SB 25 Belichick put 8 men in coverage & Kelly had to throw a ton of checkdowns & draws to Thurman. The Chargers took away our run game and press covered our young WRs & they stunted their DLine and collapsed the pocket on EJ.
Our young team folded like a cheap suit.
This is the NFL.

Completely disagree. Manual had time to throw on many occasions. He just can't.
Seems like it's going to be yet another TBD week with a hundred 'EJ Sucks' threads. I wonder if there's a message here.. (Doh!)

What is the supposed strategy the Chargers used? A find it a disturbing trend on TBD, that somehow all our QBs have a flaw & they are exposed at the first loss. Trent Edwards isn't even in EJ Manuel's category on any statistical level. I will gladly run the numbers & show you EJ is better than Orton, Fitz, or Edwards.
This season is all about the development of Manuel. We have gone 6-10 forever. Let the kid finish the season before declaring him a bust.
By the way how did Rodgers play today? Only 7 points? blame EVERYONE but Mr. discount double-check.

The Brandon Spikes head butt was a dumb one. chandlers hold was bad. EJs grounding, The McKelvin 31 yard interference was terrible. We should add a poll to this thread asking for the #1 worst.

EJ looked good on the final drive. When you fall behind that far it limits your offense.

Brady & Manning look old now. Manning has more natural talent so his decline is less notable but age is setting in & affecting their games.

Dunno but Easley has a knee sprain. Probably an MCL or LCL sprain. It didn't look like he failed the Lachman test.

EJ Manuel played ok today. You can't pin this loss on him. I saw Watkins short-arm catches. I saw cornerbacks making Malcolm Floyd look like the 2007 Randy Moss. I saw an OLine not get any push on 3rd & 1 - a troubling trend. Hackett's game plan seemed vanilla. Marrone by 11 penalties for 101 didn't have his team mentally checked in.
Brandon Spikes made a bone headed decision to head butt a player. All players & coaches failed today & we lost the battle.

The more you rely on the run the more it exposes your line. Great QBs like Rodgers & P. Manning make their lines look great. Manuel right now needs time to develop and eventually we won't need to put such a heavy emphasis on our run game.

CJ Spiller is a home run hitter. Let the man touch the ball in space. Difference makers need to have the ball in their hands with the game on the line.

Jameis Winston has a lot of growing up to do. I doubt he could handle being a millionaire, let alone a starting NFL QB.

Adrian Peterson is and FOREVER will be a child abuser. The pictures don't lie. Their is nothing he can do to change this. Ray Rice is a women beater, and Aaron Hernandez was murderer. The league is tainted.
If Goodell believed so much in "honoring" the shield he'd shut AP down, and allow his indicted soon to be fellon get a speedy trial.

I understand I'm talking about an issue that is uncomfortable to old white men that are mainly the driving commentators on TBD. But the issue needed to be addressed IMO. It's a free country to call it as I see it.
I'm not on his bandwagon I'm taking a wait & see approach. 2-1 is a great start, after a 4-6 rookie season.
I'm using my freedom of speech to make a statement gosh it appears most Bills fans who have a problem with EJ are old white men. And they think Orton's better. Their criticism hints of a racist undertone. Why not come out and say what you really think; "EJ is dumb & slowed eyed because he's black."?
