Yeah, expect that is absolutely meaningless without information about the demographics and income distributions within each of those states. Also, the fact that many states were statistical toss ups renders that study worthless. A much more telling analysis can be obtained from looking at the raw votes, regardless of state.
According to the NY Times, Kerry won an significant majority of total voters who were high school drop outs. He also had more votes among those holding a Masters degree or higher. Now, considering the number of high school dropouts (almost 10% of the people) v. the number of Masters degree holders in this country, that tells us plenty about the "intelligence" of Democratic voters.
The majority of people who were High school grads, classified as having 'some' college, and those with bacholar degrees voted more often for Bush.
Facts suck.

New Scientist is reporting that researchers have found genetic evidence linked to male homosexuality. UCLA researcher Sven Bocklandt discovered that one X-chromosome is much more likely to be methylated ("disabled") than the others in mothers of gay sons.
Women without gay sons only demonstrated 4% "skewing" of the methylation process. Where as 14% of mothers with one gay son and 23% of mothers with more than one gay son did reveal skewing of the methylation process.
Skewing in the mother does not affect the mothers' health in anyway shape or form. However, the methylation process does affect some genes that are passed on to their sons.
Being gay cannot be entirely genetic. What about identical twins, who have the same genetic map? How about bisexual people?

No, I DO NOT look like those two sloths. I'd say a mix of Steve Page from BNL, or a skinnier Jerry from ER.

Congrats VA!! That's two lists you're on now! BLZ, and T-boner.

Either a coward or a hypocrite.
Considering that they're calling back guys who have been out for 8+ years, and sending reserves in huge numbers, it would seem like they are in need of people. Don't let the door hit you in your large ass on the way! I'll even send you cookies and lots of cigarettes.
Now the fat comments start...
Not gonna answer VABills? Your argument is weak, and you're grasping at straws. It's OK though, because if you do ever start to make sense, I know the end will soon be near.

Technically, such combattants aren't covered by international treaty - they can't be, since they by definition belong to no country that's a signator of the treaties. And even if they were...a goodly amount of them, were they covered by the Geneva Convention, would be subject to summary execution anyway as non-uniformed civilian agents provocateur.
Although, to be honest, it's not even that cut-and-dried. But my interpretation is certainly a valid one, and has been for at least 60 years.
That's just the way the treaties were written, that's no fault of Gonzales'.
Facts suck.

Does anyone like them? They've been around for about a year or so. I think they're a lot better than Ben's main project (Death Cab for Cutie).

Hey, if it's the right thing to do all Americans who can should be doing their part. There are plenty of guys who rushed out and enlisted after 9/11. Aussie's son is about to join because he believes so strongly, even though she does not.
Being young, strong, healthy, supporting the war and NOT enlisting because "I'm too big" is the lamest !@#$ing thing I ever heard in my life.
Never answered my question. If you are pro-war, and of age, and not enlisted, does it make you a coward?
If there was a draft, I would go. Hell, if the govt came out and begged for more soldiers, or there was a serious need, I'd volunteer.

So, that means everyone who is pro-war and isn't in the military is a coward? Interesting lahjik there. Big surprise coming from you though. BTW, hold the mayo.

OK, how about this: I hope he kills a lot of people and if he gets killed I'll send flowers.
What the HELL is wrong with not liking war?! War is against the laws of God and should be avoided at all costs. That guy most likely has a family that desperately loves him and wants him home in one piece. Would you flame them too?
I keep wondering why you aren't there, Sir Chickenhawk.
This is not a pro war/anti war thread, ya nut case.
I already explained why I'm not over there. I'm 6'3", 260 lbs. I'm a giant f'ing target. Is that the only argument you have? No, go in the kitchen and make me a sandwhich.
