    I'm am by far the luckiest man in the world. My girlfriend is not only beautiful but is the most well versed chick in just about every sport except basketball ... which I myself hate. She knows players, kickers, player numbers, positions, coaches, owners, good fantasy players from bad fantasy players. It scares me at times.

    I know Sharon's history very well.  I know it enough to recognize a tough ex-military man whose mission is to protect his people, whether as a general or a PM.  I understand it well enough to put it in the proper context of the Mid East situation, where a dovish strategy against a terrorist did not and will not work.

     

    A higher % of Israeli population has died as a result of suicide attacks than % of US population in 9/11.  By your reasoning, is Bush on the same level as Osama by going after him?

    Ed, I don't care what anyone says. You must live an interesting life. Reminds me of a friend of mine. The only black republican I personally know in DC. Belongs to the NRA, former nuclear weapons tech, etc., and has a very liberal girlfriend. Some funny stories.

    When we talk politics, it gets brutal. She's convinced "my change" in views is something to spite her! When I say she's liberal, here's a better understanding. She hated John Kerry. She thought he was much too CONSERVATIVE.

    Other than that though, we get along just fine! :doh:

    Ugh...PETA...Rachel is a card carrying member of PETA. Doesn't mind if I eat meat though. However, if I did something like that at a rally or whatnot, I would not be getting any for quite awhile.

    Actually, it was Genoese traders returning from Kaffa in the Crimea, which was infected from central Asian tribes (precisely, the Kipchak Khanite under the Mongols) that brought it from the Chinese frontier, where plague was and still is indigenous.

    Also you guys should check out Neutral Milk Hotel...lot less poppish then barenaked ladies, postal service etc.  (although i love those bands).  There best album is " in an aeroplane over the sea"

    And for those who like barnaked ladies, postal service, etc. i HIGHLY reccomend check out ted leo and the pharmacists
