  1. Isn't that a penalty for two time outs in a row?
  2. Nice play by the D....Henne hesitated long enough on that one.
  3. Geez, Whitner was lucky as heck on that one.
  4. Why can't he just get rid of it when we're in decent FG position. Thank Gosh Lindell has the leg.
  5. All right, now a nice mix of the three backs....this is fun watching.
  6. Still no pressure on the QB....that TE down the middle killed us last year and killed us again today.
  7. I don't think I've seen this many people wearing Dolphins stuff at RWS in a while.
  8. Unless we get Henne moving around a bit, this is going to become a long day for the D. There's definitely some good things with the 3-4, I don't think teams will routinely have 200 yards rushing against us, but Miami's shown how to take advantage of it.
  9. Trent with the sideburns and that look up to the scoreboard gave me flashbacks of Fergie.
  10. Boy, they're using Spiller like Thurman was used...... Ouch...Trent had time there to make that throw.
  11. Nice play by the D-Line on the run. Maybin was a factor, just hopes he doesn't take some stupid roughing penalty as the game wears on.
  12. Boy, Miami was all over those last two plays....Line gave Trent some time on that series.
  13. Man, Spller was one foot tackle away on those first two carries. Nice throw Trent!
  14. Nice stop there....I guess a victory. Still absolutely no pressure on the QB. I know 3-4 isn't necessarily set up that way, but it would be nice to make Henne move more.
  15. Davis with a nice stop, but we get killed with the throw over the middle again..... Man, Williams was grabbed big time on that play.....
  16. Well, 0 for 3, bad punt, Phin's on the 50.....let's see what the D can do now.
  17. I've still got a DVD copy of that game and once in a while put it on to remember the good old days. Another trip down memory lane from that year: In some ways, the game before that, the Miami game, was more interesting. I was at the game, it had snow, Kelly just coming back from the knee injury, the Gulf War getting ready to kick off, and it was the first home playoff game since I think one against Pittsburgh in the OJ era. They had banned all alcohol sales, greased up the goal posts which resulted in many folks sneaking in hard liquor which only made things worse. I remember at the end of the game, some idiotic Raiders fan taking off a jacket to expose a Raiders shirt and him just getting belted with wet snowballs. Security actually removed him from the game, not the fans.
  18. Boy, Nelson looked pretty good on that drive.
  19. Even the ST sucks right now. Bruce DeHaven must be thinking like that line from the Clint Eastwood Every Which Way But Loose Movie..."Why me, Lord. Some men you made out of clay, mine you made out of sh$%"
  20. Not sure why they don't bring in a second punter, just to rest Moorman's leg for the regular season. Don't want to waste kicks as he'll need them all for later.
  21. Actually, I was just trying to be obnoxious. It's good to see Wood out there.....
  22. I called up and cancelled this year after having it since 1999 because I'll be out of the country for half the season and I think the team is really going to suck. However, when I called to cancel, all of a sudden they told me they had this $219 rate, including HD...just without redzone or superfan. I was tempted, but it would have been $219/8 games for me so it's still cheaper to go to a Sports bar around here. It's funny how there are all different rates for things. I had them note the price so next year when/if I resign up, they'll give it to me for $219....Gosh only knows what the rates will be then.
  23. Regardless, still amazing money for a 22 year old who has never played a professional down in his career. Granted running backs careers are short, but so are some fireman, soldiers, etc. I don't begrudge him a dime he's in a business, it's just amazing where society is willing to spend its discretionary earnings at.
  24. Jim Leonard, the Bills' cast off. I guess we had too much talent in the secondary at the time to properly evaluate him.
